Review 1：Location was excellent. Quick walk to the trails for the waterfalls. Hotel was basic but had everything necessary for a comfortable night: comfy beds, warm comforter, clean and very quiet. No issue bringing our two dogs is always a big bonus for us Breakfast was typical: rolls, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee.
Review 2：The WiFi was unreliable and when asked about it the staff didn't seem to be aware that I was trying to tell them that it had stopped working.
Review 3：The view from the room was spectacular when looking out over Triberg from this Hotel's higher vantage point. The waterfall was also very close and the hotel gave out free passes as part of your stay.
Review 4：The bed was very low to the ground, there were no comfortable chairs to sit in to read or watch tv, and the maid never left us refills on the soap/shampoo after our first night.

Review 6：The owner was very rude to my entire family! She made us get up and move half way through our breakfast one morning for no reason. Was clearly upset with us and shaking her head at us. On top of that the options at breakfast were very limited. Then at check out she was very rude again and not helpful at all! I would not recommend staying at this hotel! I know we'll go back to the area, but won't stay at that hotel!

Review 8：The shower was nice with great water pressure. The food in the restuarant was always delicious. The hotel was within walking distance to the Triberg Waterfall and we receive free entrance as well.
Review 9：family run. The parents only speak german if the son wasn't around no connection. Breakfast was poor in quality, very poor. Breakfast start at 8:30 , ends at 10. Is too late for summer vacations. Our room was in the second floor with no elevator. When we arrived to the room it was at 35, 36 grades centigrades as there is no air conditioner and the hotel didn't provide a fan at least. Service was terrible for foreigners, maybe for germans is ok.
Review 10：they changed the room for the second nigh and it was very good with a nice view. In anyway the owners try to don't spend money. For three nights we got no change of towels or shampoo.

Review 21：One issue with our stay, but it was pretty big and cost us 45 euros. We checked in and cleaners were still in our rooms, we left our stuff, including the newly issued Konus Card. We got back and the card was gone. We got a new one from the front desk, but they issued a receipt, not an actual card. As such, we paid over 40 euros more in travel, on top of paying for the card.

Review 23：I chose a single room, according to their website if you have a child 6 and under they can share your bed. When I checked in with my 6 year old son they refused to let me have a single room. So my 45 Euro room went up to 88,20 Euro. The windows were on the street side ground level so the early morning trucks woke us up before 6 AM.

Review 25：The beds are rock hard. The hot water lasts about 2 minutes. No hand soap in the bathroom. The windows did not open, so it was pretty stuffy and smelled musky. The wifi was poor. When booking it said parking was free, but upon arrival we found it was not and paid over 10 euro to park. When booking it said they accept mastercards, but when we tried to pay with one, she said cash only.

They were unable to provide another room and didn't offer any nearby accommodations so that we could clean up. In the triple room, the bed had an overhang that prevented movement. There was a flood light that shined directly into our room, through the curtains. It was bright enough to read by.

Review 90：They say free breakfast but on the bill there was a separate charge for breakfast. Also, they say room with a panoramic view but in that view is the back of the hotel sign. The room and bathroom are tiny. The amount we paid was more than the room was worth, really what your paying for is the location.

The stingy owners screwfittings into the room heaters to maintain bare minimum heat and thenhave the gall to switch off all the heaters centrally at 23h00 untilthe next morning, despite it being freezing cold. There are no extrablankets in room and no heating in the corridors. This hotel is over ahundred years old so everthing freezes. At €88 a room, the scroogeowners could afford to heat the rooms but prefer to turn a profit. Noreception at night so no complaints possible. Stay far away. There arenumerous competitors nearby.

The toilet space is tight. The bath tap foradjusting the cold & hot water needs extreme strength to turn it.The floor trap in the toilet gives off a foul smell. The bathroom doneed upgrading when possible. We have booked for 3 person and they onlyhave one packet of shampoo and bath gel for one person. Towels for 2person. L killed 4 flies in the room. The noise from the random flow oftraffic in the night was irritating. The hotel only accept cash payment,no visa or cards of any form which l hope they could made known tocustomers in the booking.com website.

We booked at the hotel primarily because they accepted dogs and we were able to book a triple for our family. We were charged 10 euro for the dogs.
