Review 1：Very basic hotel, carpet a bit dirty and footprints on the wall. Parking was in an underground public car park which was not very near the hotel. We were also concerned when we were told that from 10pm until 7am there is no staff manning the reception, we did not feel safe.

Review 2：Hotel was located 10 minute walk from cathedral, shops and restaurants. As we were on top floor it was very quiet, felt as though we were only people staying.

Review 22：The friendly, approachable staff were very helpful throughout. The beds were very comfortable, the views of Clermont Ferrand from the window were excellent, and overall, the rooms were very good value for money.

Review 23：Returning to bedroom after dark I was unable to find any light to see where the key fitted; the 2nd floor corridor only once automatically lit. Did not like a dog being allowed in the breakfast room (albeit a small one!) Agree hangers not easy to use.

Review 25：A couple of small details indeed :1) the magnetic plastic card is overall a very good access control system, but because removing the plastic card from the control device inside the room, when leaving the room, entails shutting the power after a few moments, it was seemingly not possible to let a camera battery or cell phone battery get recharged while I was away. But I could do it during the night while I was asleep. 2) No hook on the front door, inside the room, to simply hang a coat or raincoat when arriving in the room; the hangers in the cupboard are not many and not very easy to use. 3) the relatively small pillows are probably not filled with feathers; good pillows of that size, filled with feathers, presently cost about 10 euros a piece at Marché St Pierre in Paris

Review 26：I liked :1) the overall confortable and very clean room and bathroom; 2) the generous breakfast offering a large choice, including a great local specialty of cheese, a good start for a new day; 3) the very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, who also provided me with a good city map; 4) the reasonable price - below 50 euros per night in February 2013 - for a non cancelable reservation; therefore the whole service offered a good price/quality ratio; Overall, even though the hotel was not luxurious and the bedroom not big, it was clean, comfortable and functional, the staff was very professional and helpful. I shall be happy to recommend it; I shall certainly come back if I can.

Review 27：I would replace the facets of the shower as it is make it difficult toturn around. Several times the tap turned to hot by accident because oftight space.TV had only French Channels. I wish there were some English Channels (News, Movies,..). No cooler (refrigerator) to keep small meal, drink, or medicine. Bed Matress was hard at one side and almost consumed at the other side.

Review 29：The reception is not open 24 hours and really you will have a problems in the case to receive the deliveries (in our case we had a problem to receive our missed luggage during week-end).

Review 31：The location is a little off-putting when you first arrive being in a slightly scruffy side street. We arrived before the reception was open and the entry procedure via intercom was a bit intimidating. However once inside everything was clean and comfortable. Staff (who arrived not much later) were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget wanting to stay in the town centre. Parking was not a problem - the nearest underground car park is called Saint Pierre, although we managed to find parking on the street for free.

Review 33：The room was great, with a 3 stairs that lead to a level with a tableand the bathroom. My son (17 months) loooved the stairs. Breakfast wasgood. Staff was more than helpful. Location was ultra-central.

Review 34：Not having someone at reception after 10pm is the only real problem, but it is a very very big problem. It's confusing on arrival and one night we had to explain to a japanese guest we met standing outside how he was supposed to get into the hotel. For us it was only a little difficult, as we speak French and use a roman alphabet, but for someone from Asia it must be incredably confusing.

Review 36：We received a much smaller room than what we ordered. When I complained that the room is not like the one on the photo, plus it is much smaller than the indicated 22 sqm, I was told that they have only 4 rooms that look like the ones on the photos. No comment!

Review 38：We stayed on a Saturday night and had rooms facing the street. There area really rough night club and two all night "restaurants" within 50metres of the hotel. The result was that none of us got to sleep untiljust after 5.00am. Maybe this is better on a week day. The hotel doesnot have its own parking area. The hotel is unstaffed for most of theday. When we arrived to check in, we had to speak to a box in the walland were then (rather rudely) given a code to a safe which contained ourroom keys. Not exactly a personal service.
