Review 1：Breakfast is not that great but It is worthy for what we paid..

Review 23：The bed was not great, but OK. The shower was very small and the towels were small and scratchy. Also no soap, so bring your own. While the location is very pretty and right on the main drive, it is also a problem due to a lot of late night celebrations taking place in street and sidewalk below the hotel.

Review 34：Everything else. The guest pass was a massive boon. We only stayed for the night, but went to the fantastic open air swimming baths twice for free. Olympic sized pool, with fun slide, child pool with slides etc, a snack bar in hot sunshine surrounded by beautifiul scenery. Lovely place to spend time with the family, free entry to the waterfall and got back to strasbourg (as far as kehl) on the db for free. Unbelievable bonus. Saved over 70 euros on transport etc because of it.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate my gluten intolerant mother who was traveling with us. They even baked her two different types of GF bread at breakfast.

Review 38：Being woken up at 7.30 every morning by a 5 minute peel of very loud bells from the church opposite front of hotel might not be for everyone. The bathroom needs an extractor. No tea and coffee facilities in room.
Review 39：Clean hotel, very central opposite the town hall. Breakfast good cold buffet. No mini bar in room, but fridge stocked with beer and water in reception. Make sure you research the Konus card before you arrive, you get one free from this and other hotels in the area, it gives free travel on busses and trains throughout the blackforest, and free or discounted entry to some attractions, the hotel didn't have any leaflets about this when we were there. Wifi was very good and stable. Free parking is available in the lower carpark behind the hotel if you can find a space.

Review 56：If you are on foot, it is a bit of a walk (20 min) uphill from the trainstation. There is the 7270 bus that goes up from the train station but it is not very frequent, at least in the off season.

The rooms were clean and our view of the snowy town was picturesque. We saw the fireworks from the balcony. The breakfast had meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruits, veggies, and breads. And great hot chocolate for a cold day. The staff was helpful, informative, many-lingual, and generous.
Review 72：The bed could have been a little more comfortable, and it was a little strange to us to each have our own twin sized sheets on a king bed. It was also a bit hard to find at first. But it can't be beat for the price!

The breakfast was plentiful and traditional German cold cuts, cheese and bread. There was also parking available behind the hotel for free overnight.

The 7270 bus from the train station stops right outside, but its only a 20 min walk as well. Our hostess was friendly and efficient, and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable with plenty of space and very clean. Breakfast was just superb, lots of options (cereals, cold cuts, bread, jam, fruit, yogurts, eggs, tea/coffee...) and the atmosphere in the breakfast room was nice. We received a gastekarte which gave us free transport in the Schwarzwald - what a great surprise! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Review 106：Just in front of the bus stop from the bahnhof. The main attractions were within 10 minutes of walking distance. With only $79 per night, I got everything I wanted - a nice and clean room, a reasonably good variety of food items for breakfast and friendly/helpful receptionist. What's more, the hotel was very well decorated in a German style. It was amazing that only 2 ladies took care of the business and they did it efficiently and professionally ! I strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Review 113：We were lucky to get the last room available for this hotel when we booked. Glad that we found it, someone must have cancelled at the last minute. The room was more than adequate - it was clean, comfortable and secure. This hotel is on the 3F but the lift is very useful when carrying heavy load. We had a balcony in te room overlooking the city. The day we stayed, Germany won the quarter-final game so a lot of cars paraded with flags and people celebrating on the streets - this we were able to view at the balcony. The waterfall is really close by and we got free entrance to it, as part of the hotel deal. Breakfast was more than adequate. Really good stay. Highly recommended!
