Review 1：We didn't try it - but the buffet style meals looked very poor. The A La Carte menu though was very good and not really any more expensive.

Review 2：The atmosphere of the property, combined with the quality of the furnishings lends a historic grandeur to the hotel - but its in no way stuffy or snobbish. Staff were very friendly and helpful always. The Cafeteria / Bar is open to the public and many local Spanish in their 20s stop off during the evening for great smoothies & lattes.

Review 3：The bed wasn´t good the mattress was stiff and the loud isolation between rooms is very bad.

Review 7：Restaurant very poor, and no other restaurants near the hotel of a good standard. The walls of the rooms were paper thin and you could hear the conversations of the other guests.

Review 8：-not worth the money -breakfast was ok, however, fruit was very old -most of the staff did not speak any English -bath furniture pieces came off, needs renovation -we haven't used the wellness area, but having seen the rest of the hotel, I wouldn't have used it anyway

Review 10：Lovely hotel - old style, very clean. Central within walking distance of the cuevas de Guadix, which proved very interesting. Good parking facility. Reception staff very helpful.

Review 11：no signs for parking. When you drive up to the hotel, and drive on, you are stuck in the small alleys of the old town. The spa in the hotel is only open for a few hours in the evening. Breakfast buffet pretty bad. Most small hostales have better brerakfast. Worst is the restaurant. We had a menu del dia, which was awful. Luke warm dishes heated up in the microwave. A fish dish that gave me serious stomach trouble. Unfriendly and arrogant waiter. The restaurant is advertised as one of the best in Spain. Don't fall for it. This must have been some 20 years ago.

Review 17：Parkeren was een ramp. Parkeren 10 minuten lopen. Wifi een ramp, werkteniet op de kamer. Alleen bij de receptie. Kon dus mijn werk niet doen.Met manager haast geen contact te krijgen. En dan niet erg behulpzaam.Parking a disaster. You have to park a 10 minutes walk away. Wifi a disaster, did not work on the room. Only at the reception. So I could not work. Manager almost not possible to get in touch with. And then not very helpful. Location of hotel is poor and from room overlooking degradation homes. El aparcamiento es un desastre. Tienes que aparcar a unos 10 minutos a pie. Wi-Fi de un desastre, no funcionaba en la habitación. Sólo en la recepción. Así que no podía trabajar. Gerente de casi no puede ponerse en contacto con. Y entonces no muy útil. La ubicación del hotel es pobre y de casas habitación con vistas a la degradación Le parking est un désastre. Il faut se garer à 10 minutes à pied. Wifi un désastre, ne fonctionne pas sur la salle. Seulement à la réception. Donc, je ne pouvais pas travailler. Gestionnaire presque pas possible d'entrer en contact avec. Et puis pas très utile. Situation de l'hôtel est pauvre et de chambre donnant sur les maisons de dégradation.
