Review 1：The hotel was significantly understaffed. At both check-in and check-out we had to wait 15 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively, for a staff member to come to the desk. Turns out that the wait staff in the restaurant (dinner at check-in and breakfast at check-out) were pulling double duty as both wait staff and front desk personnel. The wait staff at dinner looked exhausted and were constantly running from table to table. It didn't enhance a relaxing dinner in the least bit. The hotel bedding appeared new, but the overall impression was an outdated hotel that tried to update it's tired and old appearance by purchasing some new items in hopes that guests would overlook the other old and well used facets of the facility.

Review 2：Spectacular view of the valley from both balconies. Great sized rooms in our suite with separate lounge area. It felt like we were up in the clouds at times. Loved the 2 skylights especially having one in the bathroom.

Review 3：Very disappointed we were not allowed to eat outside (contrary to what booking.com website says). Dining room was very hot and no windows were opened. Recorded music at dinner and breakfast was awful and spoilt the atmosphere.

Review 5：Initially could not find the entrance, which is up by the restaurant entrance! They need to have a flag or sign pointing up to it since the parking is down on the street or in the garage, but only after check in.

Review 7：The Best Western Plus was way over what we had expected. Again we stayed for evening meals & they were very good , Breakfast was a buffet & good quality.. The staff were attentive & were friendly. The indoor Swim Pool was another wow factor.

Review 8：Our weekend was perfect in part to our stay at the hotel. We are a family of 6 and the family room was more than enough room. Parking is located under the hotel with all the sites within walking distance. When you check in you receive a ticket to the waterfall for everyone plus discounts to other places. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices for everyone. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the view from your room is beautiful. Everyone was helpful during our stay , I would highly recommend to everyone

Review 9：The wifi did not work in the room, we ended up picking up the wifi on our cell phone then connected the blue tooth from our cell phone to our laptap. Inconvenient but we made it work.

Review 19：Staff was very nice. The resturant was very nice. Small cozy bar. And stocked vending machine when it closes. A short walk to everything and free tickets for the activities going on around town. When I come back i will stay again. Also be sure to book a balcony view. It's worth it.

Review 20：The hotel position is a little bit far away from the city center . There was nothing in order to welcome our little dog ( as a little pillow in order to let it sleep or some cups for water). You pay 6 euro per night but you do not really understand what did you paid. Other hotels cover 10 euro but you find something inside to welcome your pet. No Italians/other countries channels on the TV .

Review 21：The rooms of the hotel are big, clean, comfortable and warm ( in wintertime). Breakfast is good and have a nice variety of food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Quite is the best comfort that you can have in the hotel . The bed is soft, big and give you a good relax. The Television is big enough related with the room size. Balcony has a nice view.

Being fantastically located in Triberg with stunning views from your own balcony. All the staff were great and very helpful. Lovely traditional German buffet breakfast also included in the price. Nice playground outside of the dining room and free TV games for the childrens at the first floor. The staff are very polite and always willing to help. Very good breakfast.

There is can servise that is very reliable and in expensive that we had to use by the second evening of our stay as we had some folks with us that were a little older. Review 91：The smell of mildew and an overall damp feeling permeated the room(might be common in this geographical area, as we also visited anotherlocal dwelling whose lobby area had the same strong smell). Extremelyfirm bed, coupled with extremely soft down-feather pillows (no head& neck support) made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Insteadof a shower curtain, the bathtub had a glass partition that onlyextended 1/3 the length of the tub; hence, if taking a showerinstead of a bath, water splashes all over the bathroom floor. We keptgetting disconnected from their free wifi after only very short periodsof inactivity, thereby requiring us to log in over and over again.It's a definite uphill hike to get to the hotel if you're notarriving by car or taxi.

I got an amazing view of the abbey and the Pilrimage church with its two tower bells. The location is really a pretty walk to the center and the Triberg waterfall.

Review 105：The room rate was expensive for the quality (old). The parking was very tight. The breakfast was poor and didn't seem very fresh. We had to send the scrambled eggs back (spoiled), and the soft boiled eggs were hard.

Review 111：This hotel, part of the Best Western chain, was officially rated as 3* Superior hotel, so one expects a certain quality standard. It certainly did not live up to expectations. The room, the pool area, restaurant and public areas all in need of a certain amount of refurbishment. A few illustrations: The room number written on the door by hand with felt tip pen. Curtains that are not as wide as the windows. Only 2 chairs supplied in a 4 bed apartment. Cheap plastic tea/coffee tray supplied with washed-out yoghurt containers for the teas, milk and sugar. Bath towels in various colours and felt like they had been washed a million times. My rating would not be more than 2* for this hotel. Breakfast was good though!

Review 113：The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We were able to get a two bedroom room (apartment) which was perfect for our traveling situation and was more economical than securing two individual rooms.

Review 115：The hotel needs more care. We were booked into an end room which when we opened the door realized it consisted of two room numbers with a bath between. We had both rooms, each a basic bedroom. The room with the balcony had two bunk beds and a hide a bed couch which was very uncomfortable. Although the reception was very nice, both were also seemingly in charge of the kitchen. Saw no other staff. The double bed was made up for one person. We booked two nights and left after one. Left not totally because of the hotel itself. Health reasons were also a reason.
