Review 1：Only one thing - at breakfast the fried eggs and bacon were freezing cold, they were kept on a hot plate but there was no heater underneath keeping the food warm!

Review 11：POSITION - OUR ROOM HAD A NICE BALCONY. HELPFUL RECEPTIONIST

Review 12：WiFI only in reception area. Breakfast was dreadfull. Bacon was Cold, Scrambled eggs were cold. Breakfast was from 8.30 to 10.00am on day one there were three pireces of burnt bacon in the container which were cold. When I asked the waiter if there was any more bacon the reply was a curt NO!

Review 13：The WIFI didn't work at all while there, and neither did the phone to call reception. Also elevators worked strange. One time we went from 5th to ground floor but the doors did not open and we ended back up on 4th floor.

Review 20：Our room was on the fifth floor and had wonderful views from double aspect windows over the surrounding countryside. The room was comfortable, cool (there was a heatwave) and immaculately clean

Review 25：Shortly after arriving, I left my room to collect my overnight bag. On returning the door couldn't be opened, after a futile attempts by staff I was given another room, however my other bag with my passport and all my social media devices was in this bag. 16hrs later they managed to gain access to the room. Diabolical!

Review 27：Hotel is fairly basic but bear in mind, it's three star. Frigiliana isn't really an out and out holiday destination. It's a beautiful village/town in the hills, two miles inland from Nerja.

Also only one disinterested staff member present and no fresh milk for tea or cornflakes and when food ran out there was nothing to replace it. Broken hairdryer in room which they apparently new about but hadn't thought to leave a working dryer. Had no idea there was a pool - they didn't tell us about anything and there was no info in room. Room very small and hot. Overall not worth the 200 Euros it cost!!

Our feet were black after walking on the bedroom floor for a few hours and the bathroom locked itself in the middle of the night from the inside, needing a visit from reception at 2am. However a loud rock concert outside the hotel didn't finish until 4am and the hotel could do nothing about it - in our opinion they should've warned us when we moved in. Thankfully we were refunded for the next night but not for the night when we couldn't sleep.

Review 63：My husband and I spend an amazing holiday in hotel villa Frigiliana. The staff and the owners made us very welcome. They were extremely helpful and kind to us during our stay. Our room ( we upgraded to a suite ) was beautiful with a large covered terrace. The hotel is suited in the centre of the village so it is perfect for wandering about Frigiliana. The pool was great to cool off in and the sun terrace was great to cull out on and had plenty of loungers and parasols. There was a lovely terrace downstairs to sit and have a drink vino blanco or coffee or tapas whatever took your fancy at anytime if day. It's the first time we have stayed in a three star hotel and it surpassed our expectations. A big thank you to the family and all the staff at Hotel Villa Frigiliana. Ann& John ( Scotland )

I bought myself a tin of tuna with my remaining €3 and the staff would not give me plate or fork for me to eat it on and suggested that I was lying about my circumstances, which made me feel bad. I had previously asked if they sold food that I could add to my bill but they did not. As a Solo traveller I thought that this was very shabby treatment and I had an unpleasant last evening there. ( and a hungry one) it was shame as previous to that I thought they were nice people.

No English languagechannels but you could change the language for some of them (I knew thisbut many people would not know how to do it).

Review 110：At the time of booking a standard room, the hotel gives you the choice of a twin or double bed. However, despite requesting a 'double' room, I was informed on arrival that 'double' meant 'twin' in their standard rooms - very annoying!!!! The only way I could have a double bed was to upgrade i.e. pay more money, to stay in their 'superior' room. Also the breakfast orange juice (if you can call it that) was the most disgusting I have every tasted and most people in the restaurant, like me, left the contents of the glass on their table once they had tried it.
