Review 1：could have done with a thicker blanket on the bed. And better pillows, but Spanish pillows are always the same.

Review 2：the staff were very helpful .Our room was very clean and made up promptly in the mornings. Usually while we were at breakfast.

Review 3：Rooms not very large but adequate. Remember Spanish people eat usually 10 or later and stay up late especially weekends so may here people returning from evening after minuit.

Provided maps of train time tables and city as well. 5 minutes from easy access to train station and 10 minutes to beach. Vilanova has a lot of Catalonian atmosphere w tons of great cafes. Can eat & drink plenty in the $15-$20 range. Breakfast for $5 is convenient and hearty.

Review 8：The people at reception Cristina , Luigi and Alberto were very kind . Cristina was particularly helpful..showing us on the map places to visit both in Vilanova and nearby and the fact she speaks English well was a great bonus. Our rooms were very clean with a good size wardrobe and a very comfy bed. In addition the guests are offered a glass of Cava in the evening.....nice touch !

Review 11：The room was not cleaned, took a bag of garbage to the manager. It is really not a hotel , but a hostel. There is a difference. For 80euro it was way over priced. Didn't even bother staying from breakfast.

Review 13：My plane was not due in until 10pm so I emailed the hotel of my late arrival, hopefully prior to midnight. I received a reply which stated that if I arrived after midnight they would: "would leave the key and access code the room". The airport misplaced my luggage, delaying me after midnight so I missed the last train and had to take a taxi to the hotel -78 euros!!! I arrived at 1am. My email showed a note sent 2 minutes before midnight that read "we wonder when you arrive". There was no access code for the digital lock, but some guests returned and let me in. There was no key as promised nor note with my name on it. I had to spend the night on the couch in the lobby. I slept little as guests returned through the night, waking me. The last guests arrived at 5:30am. I used the lobby toilet and this briefly set off a security alarm. At 6am a uniformed security guard banged on the door. I showed him my reservation and that the hotel had failed to provide a key. He told me to leave and come back at 7am when the hotel opened. I refused and laid back down on the couch. He left. I didn't know if he would come back with the police but I was too angry and tired to care. The manager arrived at 7am. He checked me in and charged me full price for the room. There was no apology nor explanation for not leaving the key. Altho arriving late, I had been assured that there was a key to a room with a bed. This was a broken promise and caused a stressful, virtually sleepless night. I could have been just as uncomfortable sleeping in the airport and avoided the extreme taxi fare had I known they would not honor their email. Upon checkout I requested a refund for the first night. He told me to come back after the weekend. I returned several days later and received my refund, altho he refused to pay for my train fare to obtain it. I still didn't receive an explanation nor an apology.

Review 21：It is what it is clean no frills, I have never used the little bar or restaurant as quite honestly you are in the centre so are surrounded by cafes and restaurants, so cannot comment about them.

Review 22：If you are looking for a comfortable clean room and clean bathroom this is ideal. It is 3 min walk to the railway station and most buses leave from railway station. You can easily transfer to the Barcelona Airport from here.

Review 33：I liked the hostal as it was as good as if not better than a hotel of the same size.The staff were friendly and eager to help with anything. Its location in Vilanova il le Geltru was ideal for sightseeing and visiting Historical places. It was very close to the railway and bus stations as we had no car. With a 15 minute stroll to the beaches, this place was great for our break!

Review 34：The reception staff in the evening and night does not speak/understand English. This was sometimes problematic when you needed anything at this time. However one of them tried helping us every time by using translators on his ipad. The shower gel placed in the bathroom were not good enough and I was surprised to find that they did not provide any shampoo!!!!

This is Villanovas own answer to Barcelonas Ramblas with pedestrianised street and eating outside .Friendly helpful staff. Quiet bar downstairs . The cleaners are excellent and do the room everyday if you wish. Modern well decorated room . Whole hotel is well decorated.

Review 39：The hotel (hostel) is far from the beach. it is close to the city center, but quite far from the beach, so i would not recommend it for a beach holiday. i recommend you book a superior room, because the normal rooms are not that good. there is no air conditioning (it matters during the night), the rooms face the street and it is noisy and the room is small, you have no table in the room. the superior rooms are better, with air conditioning and facing the interior, so better pay more and take one of those.

Review 66：4 stars must be the rating! very clean and cousy feeling from the first minutes you enter the room. The pictures you see in booking are worse than the reality. We were 4 experienced travellers staying in the hotel and all loved the place. Very friendly personnel (the woman at the reception showed a free parking for our car, told about the summer festival), very clean and good quality rooms. We had a big terrace with our room- the best place to meet the sun after getting up in the morning.
