Review 1：Nothing. I liked everything.
Review 2：Everything. The facilities are very clean, the staff are kind and helpful, and the room was cozy and nice. Just perfect. They let me check in before 9 am and even offered breakfast! It is 20-25 mins walk from the city center, but it is a very nice walk. There is a gelato shop right next to the hotel. I want to stay there again!

Review 5：It's a long walk form the centre and not much in the near vicinity. There are few buses to town and you can't rent a bike from the hotel. So its really best suited to those with a car. (Others have said this but somehow I ignored that!) The rooms are simple- but have the basics. There is no shampoo though. And the curtains flimsy for the arctic sun in summer.

Review 8：We came at 5 am instead of 3 pm and got our room immediately without extra charges and even were allowed to go to breakfast. It was really nice! Place is very very quiet and comfortable. Wi-fi works everywhere, a lot of free Åland maps and guides.

Review 14：As an asthmatic it's a real joy staying at Strandnäs. The staff is friendly and helpfull. It's not the most glamous hotel in Scandinavia but it's certainly the most clean one. Strandnäs is our home away from home at the Aaland islands.
Review 15：Wifi didn't work well in the bedroom but was excellent in the public areas. This hotel is especially good if you have a car or bicycle. For that matter, visiting Åland Islands requires a car if bicycle.

Location 1-2 km north from Mariehamn center was perfect for us, as we took biking trips towards other areas of the island and didn´t have to start by biking through the center.
Review 63：It is too bad that the hotel is located 2km from the city center. As Idid not have a car, my options were limited. The free bus is no longeran option. A taxi ride cost over 10 euro which is a lot for a ride thatlasts 5 minutes. However,the walk was pleasant and was on a well-marked path.
