Review 2：A great location in the beautiful fishing village of Fornells. A good sized room.Friendly, helpful staff.
Review 3：Very bad internet connection!!! Staff dont speak English. Very very slow waiters in the restaurant, if you are unpatient or even just normaly patient they will drive you crazy...
Review 4：The décor, fixtures and fittings are all rather dated. However everywhere is spotlessly clean, and kept so. The beds are good and firm. Air-con that works. Good shower with plenty of hot water and good clean towels etc. Free room safe,small fridge, but no kettle. All rooms look out over pool and garden area. Staff very obliging. All in all, very good value, does exactly what it says on the tin. We shall go again

Review 6：The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel is in a great location(right in the centre of Fornells). The rooms are a good size and they are nice and quiet at night time. The pool and garden is nice. There is plenty of free parking immediately behind the Hotel.

Review 13：First two days no power with cold water so shower awful and air con blew warm, but maintenance fixed both, so on third day improved to a good standard. Safety deposit box in room not usable and slight concern about security of door to balcony (on ground floor) with easy access for anyone from bar or car park. A pity there was not a discount for breakfast for staying guests... breakfast not good value (applied to most of Fornells).
Review 14：Set in heart of Fornells with good parking at the rear. Quiet. Good sized room with fridge (not advertised, so a bonus), balcony with line and pegs. Excellent value with last minute deal but without that would have been pricey. Friendly staff. Wifi better in room than in bar area.

Review 21：From start to finsh the staff where excellent. The location is fantastic if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. The rooms are basic but clean after all it is a hostel but with air conditioning fridge flat screen TV. Go on give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised.

Review 26：This superb restaurant with rooms looks fine on the website, but the description doesn't do it justice. Rooms are very big, simply furnished, with large bathrooms and a private East facing terrace with chairs and a table. Fridge in room, A/C.Huge wardrobes with safe facility, plenty of space for luggage. Even the pool is larger than it looks, with loungers, tree shade and tables to enjoy your coffee (no pool service, this is a hostal). Restaurant open from 8.00am until midnight, excellent breakfasts, sandwiches, fish dishes, salads. The staff at S'algaret are absolutely lovely. Fornells is buzzing in summer and the location of the S'algaret is superb, right on the harbour. You can walk along the cliff path to Playa de Fornells to the beach, it's a stunning coastline. Watersports, boat hire etc available or just wander about. Artisan food market every Monday in summer. Cocktails on the rood terrace at Sa Taupa, one minute away. Restaurant Es Pla, over harbour, has excellent seafood. Try Binifadet Menorcan wine. Back to walk the Cami de Cavalls soon!

Review 28：We loved the location of the hostal. Very friendly and helpful receptionist Alejandro. Great value. Bus stop to other towns and nearby beaches very close to hostal, air condition was a cool bonus in August. It has a nice pool too.
Review 29：Decor in the room was slightly old and there was a hint of a smell of my grandmother´s house. Had a few problems with the bathroom facilities but they were quickly fixed by the staff. No Wi-Fi in the rooms and the restaurant was slightly over priced, but all in all the good outweighed the bad.

Fornells is a nice little town not overrun with resorts and so ideal for a quiet holiday. Facilities were basic, in reasonable condition and the rooms very spacious. Overall, good value for money.

The restaurant in this hostel, offers traditional, and real gastronomy from Menorca. Good plus having a fridge in the room. AC worked very well in the room. Clean pool. Bikes are welcome. Very fair priced. I 100% recommend l'Hostal Salgaret. Thanks!

Review 54：Basic tea/coffee making facilities would of been appreciated, but tea was ready available from the bar. The bar closed on the second day and no staff were around at all. You also had a fair walk around to get into the centre of Fornells.
