Reviews for Hotel Sanchez

Review 1:Have stayed here before over some years and there have been steady improvements to the hotel and it's facilities. The new restaurant is excellent with a very wide range of options - all of high standard and good value.

Review 2:Friendly welcome, cleanliness, size and style of room. Hotel has a nice stylish restaurant serving good resonably priced food. There is also a bar and outside terrace. The location is excellent for the bus stop being only a few minutes walk away.

Review 3:Terrace wasn't worth paying extra for.

Review 4:Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Short walk from bus stop and short climb to Old Town.

Review 5:Room very basic. Squeaky mattress/springs and (I'm being really picky here) out-dated decor.

Review 6:We were happy with the location. Great value for the price. The bar located at the bottom of the hotel is a good spot for afternoon drinks and people watching.

Review 7:Very squeaky and uncomfortable bed.

Review 8:Cheap and well located in Ainsa. Free Parking! Nice little cafeteria at bottom of hotel - great spot for afternoon drinks and to watch the world go by!

Review 9:Really good location close to national park area. Good for motorcycles - garage parking. Excellent bar and restaurant. Massive steaks - be warned! Very helpful reception. Booked last minute, glad we did! Historic square is worth the walk/climb - has bars & restaurants.

Review 10:All excellent!

Review 11:Sunny room with balcony overlooking the river (tea-making facilities a plus). Staff at reception were tremendously helpful, every request met with a smile.

Review 14:helpfull staff,clean,friendly,great terrace.good value for money.menu de dia,good and cheap,same with breakfast

Review 15:Not too impressed with the evening meal.

Review 16:Ainsa is a rather quiet town but in a beautiful setting where the Rios Ara and Cinca meet and with its history set high above it in the castle and fortress. This hotel is easy to find and perfect for a stopover or a base for walking and hiking. It is modern, has its own parking, a tapas bar, restaurant and great views over the two rivers. I stayed there on my way back to France. It’s an easy and pleasant 40 minute drive to the French border but a rather hairy downhill trip on the French side. The 11th and 12th century area of Ainsa is just a short walk up the hill from the hotel, is quite fascinating and gives fantastic views over the two rivers and surrounding mountains. It was a good choice.

Review 17:Much improved after previous stay - outside terrace now has pleasant view across river and secure, underground parking very reassuring. Sensibly priced, but still within easy reach of old town.

Review 18:Some public areas felt a little run-down Water in the shower wasn't hot enough Many of the staff speak no English at all

Review 19:The staff were friendly, the lady who checked us in spoke good English. The room was big with a great balcony, a view of the river and air-con. We came mainly for mountain biking, there's a hose in the car park for cleaning you bikes and a secure storage room which we didn't use as we didn't want the hassle of having to ask staff to open it for us whenever we wanted to go out. We had a baguette from the restaurant downstairs which was good. Parking was great. Overall an excellent hotel for the price.

Review 20:None

Review 21:The town's hub and meeting place for friends and families of all ages.
