Review 1：The staff was helpful and service minded, but an old/somewhat worn place with a below average breakfast (that wasn't included in the price - a misunderstanding on our part?). Should have paid a little more for another hotel and thus probably more energy gained for a long drive home.

Review 7：I loved the way the original 50's decor in the reception and breakfast room was preserved. The room was large and clean, no frills and the bath room was slightly worn. The bed was too firm, but that is normal at hotels when you don't weigh a lot. The traffic outdoors did not bother us, we found the room rather quiet even if it faced the street. The breakfast was good – except for the tea water that was lukewarm and not hot. All in all good value for money.

Review 35：The entrance hall shows fifties glamour. The view you have on the house in which the brothers grins lived is very nice. They also have one room that one can stay in that still hast the original furniture. If all the rooms would be like that it would be a really cool place. All in all they bring it back design wise to its hat days in the 50ies. Could be such a cool place to stay but bits were transformed in the eighties and the is a bit of a down turn. Location is very good and if you want to see some cool 50's architecture in Kassel that has style go there.
Review 36：Our Rooms were on the second floor of the Oberkoningsstrasse and on amain tram route. It was extremely noisy with traffic and very difficultto get a good night's sleep, even when the window was closed. It wasimpossible to change rooms because the hotel was fully booked. Theadvantage of the hotel is its central location, within walking distanceof the key sites for the Documenta exhibition. I would advise travellersto ask for a quiet room at the rear of the hotel, when booking. Thedecor is looking a little worn

The reception and bar areas still have beautiful50's furniture and design - but the secrets not revealed on the websiteare that the hotel is right next door to the historic Hugeunnotte House,which was the site of 2 of the most interesting works in documenta 13and that also a large video installation ,also part of documenta 13, wasexhibited in the ballroom. As documenta 13 was the reason for our visitto Kasselthis was a real bonus. The staff were great: friendly,humourous, helpful and professional. We loved staying here and wouldhope to do so again.

Review 51：After 23:00 just under the windows of the hotel began to gather drunkenteenagers. It's more than a hundred drunk people. All night they shoutedvery loudly, drinking beer and urinating next to parked guests cars inthe bushes. Able to sleep until after 6:00.
