Reviews for Casas Bioclimáticas Iter

Review 1:This place is what you imagine when thinking of a sci fi movie. R2D2 and the Millenium falcon crew to be expected at any moment. 25 designed and architecturized pavilions from when architecture was big. If you ever dreamed staying in a contemporary but yet comfortable place: this is where you should go. Away from roaring touristic crowds, near a surfers village El Medano with top cafes and a cool butcher shop, farmers market on weekends. Consider all strict rules and read them carefully. Also bring a cashmere for the chilly nights if you like to breath fresh air to accompany your evening glass of Rioja. And some candles for a romantic light. It might need to be updated a bit, especially beds. But otherwise all was incredibly amazing. The concept does not include any concierge or service at all, so be ready to explore all by yourself. But hey, google is here to help always.

Review 2:Bit of noise from the windmill but not big deal you can't really hear when you close the door

Review 3:Individual unique villas. Nice and warm inside the house even winter...

Review 4:The area is v.windy, and there were giant solar panels on the front of the house, which unfortunately meant that the main outside space was cold and unusable.

Review 5:The villa was really nice, and plenty of room throughout. V.modern inside and had everything you'd need.

Review 6:You need a car as the location is not within walking distance of any facilities apart from 2 small beaches.

Review 7:Amazing place to relax. Walking distance to the beach. Very secure complex. Unique experience. Stunning architecture.

Review 8:- Bed Bugs in the house beware!! My wife has near 50 bed bug stings on her body on 4th day! Uploded photo just a part of my wife stings! - The staff told us we bring the bed bugs to house etc... - I am not recommend anybody this accommodation!

Review 9:- The sea is close nice view to the ocean / Sunrise! - Wifi is good

Review 10:Sliding doors took strength to move.

Review 11:Totally different to anywhere else. As long as you are fully aware of the fact you're near an industrial estate on a flight path surrounded by wind turbines you will enjoy it. The beach is fab,no hawkers or massage requests.Try it.Hire a car though.

Review 12:Directions from the airport are poor and no signs until you're there so we had some difficulty driving around in the dark! Junction numbers are confusing - is it junction 51 or 52 or both?

Review 13:Fab location with beautiful views on sunrise and volcanoes. short walk to the beach and close to airport.

Review 14:It's not a bad thing, but you need a car to stay there as it's not possible to walk to any store to buy something or restaurant for a dinner.

Review 15:Ideal place to stay, if you like to be away from tourist places and other world. Nice ocean view, great house, perfect atmosphere. Same time it was 5 min drive away from closest store.

Review 16:There was a lot of noise from the southern aspect of the house because the wooden doors would expand and contract overnight. Also, when it rained, the water would flood the corridor in front of the bedrooms

Review 17:We enjoyed staying in a bioclimatic property and also found the complex to be very peaceful and quiet and yet very conveniently placed with respects to the beach, shops and the motorway.

Review 18:The villa is generally clean and well-kept, but not impeccably clean. There were some ants on the terrace. They did't get inside, though.

Review 19:We stayed at villa #8, "Gavion", for 6 days. The villa is build in a modern style with a well-equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms. The terrace with several sunbeds overlookes the ocean and the windmills. We knew that there would be some noise from the windmills and from the planes (the airport is near by). For somebody it might be a problem. But it didn't disturb us at all. There are several supermarkets and restaurants (in el Medano and Los Abrigos) within driving distance. There's a small beach near by (10 minutes walk), but we preffered the beach in el Medano (it's huge, clean and no rocks). In general Casas Iter are perfect for people who prefer to be on their own and wish to spend some time in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Review 20:Floor was not really clean - we had to clean it by ourselves. Lizards everywhere - but that's a part of the nature :-)

Review 21:Awesome place with eco- things in mind. Large villas with awesome in- and outdoor design. Good internet connection. Peaceful place.

Review 22:Absolutely amazing surroundings - this is a completely different experience from any typical hotels. All houses are different with a unique architecture, style and environmental features. Great wifi. We were super happy with our stay there.

Review 23:The complex would benefit from a food facility, like a small shop. And some transportation means like a shuttle or a closer bus station. It is wonderful for tourists who rent a car but that is a bit challenging coming from UK

Review 24:Viewing the ocean from every corner of the house. The scenery is breathtaking. The house is absolutely amazing and has everything u need to enjoy and even cook. The private beach is marvelous. Seing wild rabbits at night is a plus

Review 25:Nothing to complain here. Some people complained about the sound of the windmills when they went to a place powered by windmills... Some people complained about the distance to the next town when they went to a secluded place... Who are those people?

Review 26:We stayed in Villa Alisio. The design of the villa was really minimalistic and tasteful. Self catering facilities were great, everything we needed was there. The terrace upstairs was amazing especially to watch the stars during the night. The place has its own beach in 5 min walking distance and it is pretty much private. The sound of the ocean and the windmills was quite relaxing. Whole place gives the feeling like it is a secluded holiday away from the crowds to enjoy yourselves. Totally recommandable!!

Review 27:We do not have any bad comments, however some people might have privacy issues, as showroom and toilet are based outside.

Review 28:Casas Bioclimaticas ITER is located at the base of Montana Pelada in the centre of Institute for Technology and Renewable Energy. The 24 villas are all designed and built in different styles. This was our second stay and this time we stayed in casa El Pueblo for two weeks from 11th of April 2015.Our villa was built from volcanic rock and wood and it is single dwelling. Villa was spacious with substantially equipped kitchen, living area, study area (which can be used as a second lounge as there is a large settee with comfortable cushions), two single bedrooms and one on suite double bedroom. As the concept of this villa is a town square, with a local way of life in its smaller scale, with a tree and the streets around the square, the bedrooms are positioned outside (around square, as shops). If you are sleeping in either of the single bedrooms, toilet and shower room are positioned outside between two bedrooms. Rooms are provided with blinds, shutters or both. There is specious seating area with table, chairs, sun loungers and barbecue area. At first glance you may feel that this villa is slightly exposed, however we hardly seen any other guests over the two weeks of our holiday. The whole area is very tranquil and perfect if you want escape from a hustle and bustle of a city. However, you need to bear in mind that you are staying in the middle of a wind farm and 10 minutes drive from Tenerife del Sur International airport. We noticed the wind turbine noise and noise from the planes on our first day however this noise soon becomes part of the background. There are two pebbly and one sand beach 5-10 minutes walk from the villas and there are three supermarkets around 5-10 minuets drive from the complex. Also there is laundry near the visitors centre. Car is the must have if you want to explore local areas, however I believe taxi can be organised through Casas Bioclimaticas ITER.

Review 29:Might be cold at night and windy. If there will be a swimming poll with warm ocean water that would rise villas for a completely other level. Also sport infrastructure will be useful.

Review 30:Villas and hosting service are just great. Amazing atmosphere and design.

Review 31:LA RELIGA house - The design of the house makes it easy for MOSQUITOS to enter along the stairs from the water pool under the house. All houses have different designs so this may not be an issue for the other houses!

Review 32:LA RELIGA house - Very comfortable climate inside (March). Great view. Excellent fast WIFI. Very close to the beach. Feeling like a millionaire. Solar panels on the facade. When you like architecture and sustainable designs this is the place to be.

Review 33:The house is amazing. It's been a pleasure from every angle to stay there - there hadn't been a single thing we would need that would be missing. Comfortable, secluded, well-designed, perfectly equipped. The staff is very welcoming and nice, with perfectly spoken English. It had been really pleasant to see how they have every point about the house or services outlined and explained to you, leaving zero questions or concerns - special thanks to Miren. Next time we are on Tenerife, we'll definitely stay in this complex again. The bioclimatic houses are a wonderful idea.

Review 34:The area is quite close to an industrial park, but you can't see itfrom the accommodation due to one of the mounds with a line of windturbines. The sound of the wind turbines is quite therapeutic, and sinceit is continuous, didn't keep any of us awake. You do need a car forstaying here, as it's not in an urban area. Because, it's on thes/se part of Tenerife, which is generally very windy, the beach hasrough waves and so swimming is for the quite hardy; but that's ok,the more family friendly beaches are a short drive away in LosCristianos and Play de las Americas. It's a lovely place to spendthe early mornings and evenings chilling out, and if you don't likecrowds, then it's perfect. The iter grounds are interesting to walkaround as well. As for the accommodation itself:- Each one is different, some mostly above ground, some half buried, some almost completely buried in the ground! Ours was very spacious considering was for only 4 people. - Free Wifi (you can plug directly into the LAN socket for more reliable connection if you wish, but bring a long cable) - TV has HDMI socket, we bought downloaded iPlayer stuff to watch in the evening - Kitchen well equipped (oven, but no microwave) - Seems all have more than one balcony/patio - Mattresses and furniture all seem high quality - Place was cleaned mid-stay, and towels changed, even though we were only there 5 nights Really a fascinating and different place to stay

Review 35:We stayed in el beregal and interior of house was very cold

Review 36:Loved the space inside and out Mirren girl in charge very helpful Tour on thurs very interesting Beautiful houses all so different

Review 37:We were attacked by mosquitoes the first night and realised that all doors and windows need to be kept shut all the time. Once we did that, everything was fine. You have to hire a car to stay here and the only access is via the motorway. A tarmaced cycle track to the nearest town, El Medano, would be really useful and in keeping with the ethics of the development.

Review 38:Stayed in El Cubo, really comfortable and attractive. Modern and clean. Very easy to drive to from the airport.

Review 39:We were told that it was unseasonably windy and our building was quite loud when the wind was blowing. The wi-fi was weak.

Review 40:Off the beaten track and a great place to get away from it all. You would need a car to go anywhere, as there are no restaurants or sites on location.

Review 41:Too cold! Big gaps in the doors in the house, draught coming through the windows. Too cold to have a shower, children awake in the night too cold to sleep! House not fit for purpose, needs fixing and all gaps and holes in property securing, draughts excluding.

Review 42:The entertaining area, however this was spoilt by been too cold within the house to sit and eat or watch tv without a blanket.

Review 43:Very high and noisy winds, nearby power plant pollution, nearby industrial facilities

Review 44:The designer house, the idea of living in a clean energy area, the nearby trail running tracks.

Review 45:It was a bit windy at times.

Review 46:The house and it's surroundings. We enjoyed eating on the terrace and went for a walk to the beaches or the gardens almost every day.

Review 47:It felt a bit cold in the morning the first 2 days of our stay.

Review 48:Quiet location away from hords of tourists. Design and architecture of the house, terrace.

Review 49:Somewhat noise from the wind turbines. The Cangrejo villa's air ventilation design causes some draught and dust inside.

Review 50:We stayed at the villa named Cangrejo. It was spacious and I really liked the wind sheltered and private patio. Kitchen was great and liked the rest of the house as well. The house was designed in a way that it felt really private. Short walk to the two beautiful beaches. If you have a car, as we did, a great base to explore the whole island. It was nice to be able to live environmental friendly and recycle even at holiday! :)

Review 51:Situated in a industrial area on one of the most windy places on Tenerife, with continuous sound of the wind turbines (24 hours/day), the house should be soundproof (or the bedrooms at least). Little too cold at night (stay in january). More international channels (sport, film) would be appreciated by guests from outside Spain.

Review 52:The design of the house, modern and all comfort inside. Isolated location but protected by security guard, a lot of privacy.

Review 53:I have travelled all around the world, but never experienced anything as perfect as this! The scenery, the ocean, the amazing funky designs of all villas, the peace and tranquility was all just so unbelievably amazing!

Review 54:There is very little critical to say. Not the place for those wanting restaurants/bars etc. on your door-step. A car is an absolute essential.

Review 55:Bioclimaticas offers the perfect break for the quirky traveller looking to find some quiet inspirational space. The villas are of an exceptionally high quality and the whole place has an incredible aura about it that will ensure a stay here remains long in the memory. Highly reccomended especially for architectural buffs!

Review 56:We do not have any bad comments, however if there was 6 of us staying in our villa, we might find the villa too cramped. The dining room table comfortably seats 4 and the lounge had two leather chairs and a three seater settee. Also, some people might have privacy issues, as there are only floor to ceiling Venetian style blinds separating two twin bedrooms from corridor.

Review 57:Casas Bioclimaticas ITER is located at the base of Montana Pelada in the centre of Institute for Technology and Renewable Energy. The 24 villas are all designed and built in different styles. We stayed in casa La Geria for one week from 2nd of January 2015. Our villa was built from volcanic rock and wood and it is single dwelling. Villa was spacious with substantially equipped kitchen, living area, two twin bedrooms, one double bedroom and two bathrooms. All rooms were very airy and bright, as each room has floor to ceiling glass doors on both sides, bar the two twin bedrooms, which have just the one glass door. All rooms, bar kitchen are provided with blinds. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to visiting this place in April 2015 for two weeks. We were bemused by entrance to the complex as it appears that you are entering some sort of futuristic site from Sci-fi. However, you are quickly reassured that you are at the right place, as soon as you reach the villas. Altogether great experience and value for money.

Review 58:As this spot is near airport, noise from aircrafts are disturbing, but you can get used to that. Some noise from wind generators.

Review 59:A place for urban escape. You will need a car to get there. Good location, close tosan isidro. Very beautiful, comfortable houses near the ocean and cliffs. Nice and helpful stuff! The whole complex is guarded by security guards. For swimming be sure to take swimming shoes for there are little stones not sand in water. Kitchen is supplied with all necesarry stuff. Good value for money!

Review 60:The are a few minuses that strike through all the pluses mentioned above! Please be carefull because the photos look amazing but you get absolutelly no rest because of WINDMILLS that produce electricity!!! After a couple of days of CONSTANT irritating SYSTEMATIC sound (whistle!) you can go mad! The houses are build with lots of small holes that let the sound and the wind through. That means you hear windmills, planes like you would be sleaping outside! Absolutelly no sound isolation! Inclination in the shower was made incorrectly-to the opositte side so you will stand in a 2cm deep water while taking shower:) Water coming out from the hot water tap was nearly BOILING so I heated up my arm coz didnt expect it will be soooo hot! To kills bacteria 55-57 degrees is enough but not nearly boiling... There is always very strong wind in this area and when it is blowing all metal constructions of the house were causing loud sounds and it was impossible to fell asleep at night and was really not cozy (we fellt like in a horror film like somebody was walking near us etc.) these sounds were caused because of bad quality of construction. Administration is working only on mondays-fridays and if you face some problems/questions during weekend that means you will live with these problems all weekend:) But again - it is not worth to choose this place because of windmills!!! The rest minuses you can stand but windmills - believe me - can drive you insane!!!

Review 61:The location itself is wonderful: nice landscape, not very far from airport and other main places etc. You need to have car but nowadays many travelers have it. Especially those who rent holiday house for 700-800euro/week which is not the cheapest option possible to find. The design of all houses is very nice! Houses are spacious - a couple of people even do not need so much space. Security on teritory exit/entry.

Review 62:Stuff is not really helpful - we had issues with car damage on our parking spot - was not solved at all, and not really willing to help. And lots of water (I mean, like huge puddles) in the house after the heavy rain - had to clean out by ourselves - th cleaning only came the next day to change our completely wet towels and carpets. Said they didn't came because it was raining all day - which was not true.

Review 63:This is really a hidden spot - ideal for those longing for some privacy. Really relaxing and quiet vacation, yet everything you may need - within 10-15 min drive.

Review 64:The small metal details like some connecting hardware may be spoiled by rust here and there

Review 65:The fantasic place for everyone who finds loneliness amazing. Nice views of the ocean and el Teide. The villas are beautiful, large and equipped with everything necessary. The noise of the planes does not disturb much.

Review 66:Better signage around the complex would be good - Difficult to find the beach

Review 67:I loved the isolation, peace and quiet, despite the wind turbines, you get used to the sound, the views and coastline, the villa was beyond our expectations, we loved the outdoor/indoor aspect of the villa with the open roof, meant we could be in the open air all day. Perfect if you are in need of total relaxation.

Review 68:Remoteness , nothing within walking distance , no option to cool down either in bed without being biten alive or while sun bathing no external shower or plunge pool

Review 69:Accomodation unique

Review 70:Airplanes may be too loud while landing or take off, windmills around sometimes make some noise but not as bad as we expected, no one explained how to manage lifting gate at the entrance of the complex so was a problem to enter at the beginning.

Review 71:Absolutely no regrets - was exactly what we needed, a complete escape from our city life! One of the most exciting things was a little 'private' stony beach right in front of the complex that we used 100% for ourselves. For food 3 supermarkets are only 5 minutes drive, restaurants are 7 minutes drive in Medan.

Review 72:Reception open only during day time. I'm not sure the phone in the house works for external calls (excluding emergencies).

Review 73:It has been A new holiday experience, I've totally appreciated the architecture of the house (alisio). Nice and relax environment, close to the shore. One tip: you need a car! Only motorway to get there.

Review 74:Wi-fi breaks often, and although the staff is really nice, their scheduling is very tight

Review 75:Excellent idea, and very nice houses. It is great to stay at suistainable places. Houses design is awesome and houses are super comfortable.

Review 76:Location wasn't bad but we had a car and would recommend having one.

Review 77:Spacious villa - each one on the site different - clean with everything you need. Quiet with access to small but gorgeous (and very quiet) beaches / coves with clear waters.

Review 78:Quality Wifi Non stop Airplanes Non Stop howling of the wind (it can drive you insane) Nearby industrial area Isolation - need a rental car to go supermarkets 10 minutes away from location.

Review 79:Value for money Location Size of house Rough surroundings - coast line Isolation Non Stop howling of the wind (Kite surfer) Security

Review 80:The ants they need to work a little more that situation,l understand they make test of that but still thanks

Review 81:Theare nice places they have different beauty congratulations

Review 82:Nothing much to dislike. Yes you are close to the airport and there is aircraft activity but pretty soon you won't notice it. And yes there are wind turbines nearby and they've built them there for a reason, it IS windy but the breeze helps keep you cool and the little noise you hear from the turbines is actually quite soothing. The only negative comment I've got is that we requested a late check out and were told that as long as we left before 14.00 there'd be no charge. We did leave before then but we were still charged an extra 1/2 days rate of €85 which I'm not at all happy about. Apart from that it's a great place to stay.

Review 83:Beautiful location with stunning sea views and a secluded beach nearby, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind as it is off the beaten track and away from the tourist crowds. Houses are fantastic; spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. You DO need a car because of the location, and although it is remote, you are close enough to the highway to be within easy driving distance of all the tourist areas. Contrary to reports this place is NOT hard to find.. From Tenerife South airport you turn right onto the TF1 Autopista del Sur ( towards Santa Cruz). Pass El Medano, and a couple of kilometres later you will see the windmills on the right. You cannot miss them( there's about 26 of them). That's where you are heading, and to get there you take the exit to the Polígono Industrial de Granadilla just after the 53rd km marker on the TF1. When you've taken that exit go straight across the first roundabout, follow the road down to the second roundabout and take the first exit towards ITER. After about 200m you will come to a security barrier. Park up and give your details to security and they will direct you from there. Enjoy being up close and personal with nature and best of all enjoy the refreshing cooling breeze from the sea.

Review 84:Aircraft noise, although got used to it and wouldn't stop me returning. Lack of signage which meant finding the complex at first was difficult. Otherwise, I loved it.

Review 85:An extremely unusual development with sustainable villas. Light and airy, well equipped. Very comfortable beds. Convenient for the main motorway TF1, which made it easy to get to from airport and accessing the rest of the island. The guardian (sort of caretaker) was very helpful and the first couple of days was around when returning to the villa and ensured we could find our villa in the dark.

Review 86:The development was an architectural wonder set in an amazing lanscape

Review 87:Nothing at all.

Review 88:Stayed in La Duna ,Lots of room , sea views from most rooms

Review 89:Nothing. But a car is necessary to stay there.

Review 90:Really good facilities. It was also very value-for-money.

Review 91:JUST A GREAT PLACE TO UNWIND

Review 92:Check out time could have been better. Pillows on beds too soft.

Review 93:House design/ proximity to airport

Review 94:Difficult to find. No name sign at entrance barrier.

Review 95:Very spacious villa, peaceful location.

Review 96:We ask 2 double bed and we found only one double bed and this was a big problem for us.

Review 97:Position of the apartment Type of the apartament

Review 98:You need a car. It is located between an industrial area and the sea.

Review 99:The location outside the tourist track, and cool architecture.

Review 100:Aircraft noise could be intrusive, but we got used to it.

Review 101:The villa was very good with sea views and good facilities and amenities

Review 102:This hotel is strongly recommended to everyone who adores natures, beautiful beaches and great design.

Review 103:Nothing Just be aware, these houses are bioclimatic! You won't get heating or air con, these are designed into the Architecture, you may have to learn how your house works. Read the manual!! Especially for resetting the wifi, we went 2 days without before I reset it (easily).

Review 104:Quirky individual architecture. Quite quiet (allowing for windmills and planes, but you get used to that). Safe and secure. Away from it all.

Review 105:No real facilities in terms of cafe, shops or restaurants so had to travel every time to nearby towns

Review 106:The property, Location and Peace & Tranquillity

Review 107:The location is great for the nAtural beaches but there is a lot of plane noise due to its close proximity to the airport but this would not deter me from going again.

Review 108:Really loved the originality of the enterprise, and the fantastic cutting edge design of the villas, and would definitively return

Review 109:The facilities are close to some beautiful secluded beach but they are also too much close to the industrial zone of Granadilla with strong smell coming from the electrical power plant and others industrial facilities at less than 500 m. More: there is a big (by the way illegal) port (granadilla port) under construction at less than 500 meters with trucks taking material for the harbour from everywhere on the island even inside the houses park perimeter. There is a digging area with big hammers and big trucks going on all day in the middle of the houses park.

Review 110:The place would be good if not for the things we didn't liked. Good secluded beach, quiet in the night. House are good but not so well built, our house roof for example was made of iron but without any kind of isolation so the hot/cold was felt strong and also the noise of the wind was very strong. Eco for this houses are an euphemism, they are houses no more some are pretty others are not.

Review 111:Nothing much. The only minor niggle was that in our property you had to go outside to reach the bedrooms from the living accommodation - one occasion where architectural form triumphed over function.

Review 112:This was a really superb holiday location. Some people might be put off by the slightly quirky location in a renewable energy research centre with a variety of wind turbines and solar collectors but we thought that the combination of the location and the architecture was fantastic. In a three week visit to four of the Canary Islands our stay at Bioclimaticas was the high point.Nothing much. The oly minor niggle was

Review 113:10 mins if that from the airport, right next to the sea, very quiet and relaxed, yes it was windy, but that made the sun tolerable, and yes there were planes going over head, which you soon forget about.. The villas are amazing, especially for the money. Would recommend , and I will be returning.. Would recommend definitely hiring a car and stocking up from the nearby supermarket, 5 mins drive away. If you want bars etc, wont be for you...

Review 114:Very windy! Some houses offer more shelter than others.

Review 115:Unusual experimental holiday venue- off the beaten track, with beautiful tiny sculpted cove adjacent, surrounded by huge wind turbines which power the whole site. 25 Eco houses all individually designed for style and aesthetics, also being constantly monitored for temperature / humidity etc.

Review 116:We booked to stay for our anniversary for 3 days and Miren upgraded usto a large sea view 3 bedroom house which was fantastic. You really feellike your away from it all, it's windy here but with wind turbinesall around it's not surprising. The views are amazing! If you wantto get completely away from everything this is definitely for you. Weloved it so much we stayed in a different house for an extra 4 days.Don't forget these are Unique Bioclimatic Houses so althoughyou've got Wifi, dishwashers and irons are not in the houses butthis wasn't a problem at all!

Review 117:We liked all of it, but there are no restaurants or supermarkets in walking distance so not suitable without a car.

Review 118:Location away from main resorts. Cool to stay on wind farm. Great educational exibhit walk in the grounds showing renewable energy sources. Liked the design of the houses. We stayed in casa El Caminito by Italian architects which won second prize in the design competition that created the development. Short walk to lovely secluded black sand beach. Bordering on nature reserve with walks around a volcano crater.

Review 119:It was not easy to find and the road to the comples is demaged, be carefull. It is very close to the airport so there is some noice of planes.

Review 120:The location is very nice. We had the best stay ever and didn't want to leave. The houses are the best ever, so much space, peaceful and view on the sea. It is close to the highway and close to the tourist areas but without the crowd.

Review 121:no microwave and washing machine within the property itself.

Review 122:very close to the south airport. close to the sea. quiet location and lots of space within the property. environment friendly development. and a great place to relax

Review 123:A bit hard to find villas. We came several times to the gates of some control post, where there were no sign of Casas Bioclimaticas. It would be useful to leave the sign and telephone of people to contact. We stayed four days in villa and the towels became dirty (i guess they only change them once in 7 days)- so i would recommend to change towels at least once in 2-3 days. As for the rest - everything was perfect! We would recommend villas to our friends!

Review 124:The houses are situated in fantastic - very quiet place. there you feel like you are on Mars!) Windmills are all around. Several wild beaches are wonderful. Almost no people. The house was comfortable and had everything you needed - plates, glasses, towels etc.

Review 125:We requested the tour which is once a week. One of the main resons to book the holiday was because we wanted to learn more about sustainability and ecological buidings but it was cancelled due to bad weather but we spent the morning trying to find someone who took th etour , there was no sign or communication to say it will be cancelled, and we werent offered an apology and then another tour another day. We felt that they lacked customer care training in hospitality and that the focus is on the research and development , an after thought renting out the houses as holiday lets. The houses seem to be designed for executives who are coming to their conferences and not with families in mind. We had a baby and there was no baby bath, no bath , only showers so we bathed her in the tiny kitchen sink. The building felt drafty and cold when it rained in December. No heating available. Our bedroom was very dark, very little light. Alot of the building felt dark apart from the living room which was a nice size and had glass windows which let in alot of light. The kitchen was tiny for a three bedroom house. There wasnt a dishwasher or washing machine. No community or holiday feel of an atmosphere.

Review 126:The accommodation , its size and views of the ocean, the living room, nice and quiet and space from other buildings. The maids did a good job cleaning.

Review 127:The personel was not customer friendly. I felt like a student sometimes, not a tourist who diservers some respect. The first thing was the offer from the booking.com i.e. the photos don't reflect the reality. At first I was offered the two villas photos of which you can observe at the booking.com but finally we got something else with the message that you have to pay extra 25 euro for each night if you want to choose, which I find unfair and too expensive.... The villa we stayed in was covered with some mould, especially in the sleeping room, very small and dark... The other sleeping rooms were stinky too. And we didn't like the fact that all the rooms were seperate so in oder to go to the kitchen or the toilette you had to walk outside... The surronding of the very stony beach was not very clean. And the noise of the planes, especially at 6 p.m. was annoying indeed. There was no one we could talk personally, just a nice guy at the front entrance who in fact could communicate only in Spanish, like most of the people there. We could only use the telephone, but there were days when nothing functioned (a TV, the Internet, a phone).... And there was a small car park in front of our villa which distroyed the view of the ocean.

Review 128:It's a unique place, not a standard one. Each villa is different and in my opinion you will never know which is better than yours... We stayed in el pueblo which I found great for this very windy weather as you could enjoy the sun in the patio with its fountain - only for us! Great views from most of the villas, excellent equipment of the kitchen, even with an anti-mosquito appliance, a wonderful living room with a magnificent glass roof. No people, nice plants and the surronding of the villa.

Review 129:Noise of planes! Two rooms (every house is different) just had wooden blinds, instead of soundproof walls and doors! Not enough towels! House not rainproof.

Review 130:Great design! Eco-friendly! New look! Away from tourist traps. Natural beach nearby! Extraordinary setting in wind and photovoltaik park. Free WLAN.

Review 131:Definitely need a car. Very windy. Very noisy, especially at night, and the wind, and airplanes. There is no dishwasher. The house cleaned every 4 days. Lizard in the sink in the morning.

Review 132:Design!!!!Spacious rooms. Near to ocean.

Review 133:One bed was a little uncomfortable due to damaged spring, deals for longer stays would be good idea.

Review 134:Design and uniqueness of villas, high quality materials, environmentally friendly, unique solar and wind farm location, incredible views to ocean and volcano, peace and quite, close to airport, kids loved the adventure, very relaxing.

Review 135:1. Broken shower2. Bad location (Far from facilities) 3. Very noisy (plains and wind turbines) 4. Not helpful staff / very inflexible: I called the service desk twice and both of the times I talked with a very inflexible person. She was not helpful at all (even though it was very easy for her to solve the issue).

Review 136:Architecture of the villas

Review 137:All!!! The houses, the facilities, the nature, the sea, the wind was all excellent! We want to go again and again and again, but to stay to the other houses too!!!!

Review 138:Getting there the first time is a bit tricky because it is in a complex that on initial appearances doesn't look to have any lodging in it. bathroom facilities could be modernized and decorated a little better

Review 139:Great Architecture Design Great Size and Room Amazing Views Peace and Solitude Homey feel Liked almost everything about it
