Review 1：The bed was two single beds joined in the middle to make a double, unfortunately the gap, albeit small, was a nuisance and uncomfortable. We also had the impression that the hotel was actually on the waters edge, but this was not the case

Review 2：The lake view and overall comfort were excellent, the food was very good

Review 3：The price was really high even during off season with seemingly no events going on in the area. The stairways and entrance/exit to the pool and sauna area were confusing...we ended up in the middle of the restaurant wearing our bathrobes and bathing suits. The price per night for a dog was almost as expensive as a kennel. In the winter, it's not really worth it to go because there's no direct access to hiking trails, skiing, etc.

Review 4：The staff are courteous and kind. The facilities have been renovated in a decent manner, but not with high quality finishes conducive to the price. The balcony had a view of the lake and the parking was free. There was a special blanket for the dog. Breakfast had a decent selection of items. This appeared to be the nicest hotel on the lake and it was quiet. I think this would be a nicer place to visit in the summer with more things to do, but overall it was just OK and served the purpose of getting away from the city for a night.

Review 5：The stuff was not smiling and specially those who are working in the restaurant. They were rude. Acting with you like they are giving you service for free, but the truth im paying for it m. So it has to be in the right wat.

They tried to get me for an extra bed when we did not use it - assumed I was travelling with my wife and child, when I was only travelling with my child. They should have another choice of restaurant for the evening - more casual and child-friendly. I found the dinner experience too formal.

Review 11：The location is brilliant - it is near by the activities and not so close to the crowded area. - The hotel has a private beach for hotel guests only, we found it fascinating. The breakfast: - Good variety and service - The lake view at the breakfast terrace is pleasing Rooms are very large well equipped but does not have a tea tray. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Review 12：There is a noisy road between the hotel and the lake. The staff is not friendly for the most part and we did not feel welcomed. Some breakfast cuttlery was chipped and no fresh OJ served which was disappointing given the room price we paid and supposedly the luxury status of this property.

Review 14：The pool area is old and unremarkable. Looks and feels more like a public indoor pool from the 70s. Not really a "Spa" despite glossy pictures. We paid roughly the same price as at one of the top Swiss hotels in Zermat for example.

Review 35：The hotel was fabulous and very close to the tourist market and harbour. The views of the lake were also spectaculor. We were given an upgrade to lakeview rooms and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The swimming pool is nice and clean with glass walls so great views all around.

Review 37：For skiing you need to go to the Feldberg ski-area which takes about 15 min drive. Parking is a problem there so take the ski-bus.

Review 41：Brugger's may offer the facilities of a four star hotel, however it completely lacks soul and flair. The staff is not service minded and lacks passion for guests. Our reservation in the restaurant was missed with the comment "what can we do about it?" Complaints are ignored and it is clear that the staff is not interested in returns visits. We recommend to stay at Seehotel Wiesler across the street, we definitely will next time!

Review 45：Having travelled to this region and this hotel for the spa and treatments that it offered I was very disapointed with the overall spa experience. The treatment rooms do not have curtains, making it hard to relax and feel relaxed with so much brightness. the little cloth on my eyes was not sufficent. In addition to the light it was extremely cold through out the treatments, making it hard to enjoy the overall experience. Moreover, I had asked to have a cleansing facial instead of the relaxing facial the day before the treatment, the receptionist acknowledged and confirmed it was possible. However, the day after my request had apparently not been marked down and therefore was not provided as per request.

Review 53：It is a good hotel. It possesses a sauna and a pool, in summer you can even enjoy the private beach at the lake. But rooms are very simple. They are rather unpretentious for such high price. It was surprising, but all hotels in the region were very expensive, although there are not much to see. Compare to other hotels this one was one of the best.
