Reviews for Hotel Palacio Blanco
Review 1:Place was spotless bordering on sterile. TV was a hassle...owner had to come into our room while we were in bed to figure out which channels they could get...kind of awkward...did not have a list of stations - made lame excuse that cable company kept changing channels so he couldn't have a list. Pretty weak actually. Also had to park on the street which happened to be 4 blocks away.
Review 2:Owner was available and helpful. Place was spotless.
Review 3:Despite our poor grasp of the Spanish language our host made us feel very welcome. We were only booked for the one night, but it was lovely; a nice sizeable bed in a spacious room, with a generous ensuite. Breakfast was a simple buffet, but very adequate. The roof has a small pool/hot tub and lots of seating which on a sunny day would be very attractive. Velez Malaga is a lovely town, with lots of renovation work going on to restore its lovely old buildings. We would definitely go back.
Review 4:Not enough open windows that can open in room Stairs on arrival, but that can't be helped
Review 5:Friendly, relaxed and comortable - Flamenco art. Reasonable price.
Review 6:not a bad word can be said.

Review 11:Nothing although it may be difficult for nervous drivers of hire cars to negotiate the narrow streets on Velez.

Review 15:The hotel is in the old town and close to lots of tapas bars. The owners are very kind and helpful. An oasis of calm !!!!!
Review 16:changing room mid way through week to accommodate long standing visitors more "Booking .Com" negligence in detecting.

Review 19:I liked everything about the hotel, the rooms were excellent, the owners were helpful and very nice people. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.
Review 20:The bed was very uncomfortable and not what one would expect for that price. Also the room we got was not what was promised. I think that was due to the fact that we used Booking.com and didn't pay in cash.
Review 21:Good location
Review 22:Parking is really hard in the streets around Palacio Blanco. Other guests received a fine for parking where it wasn't allowed and we have been driving for a couple of rounds/streets before we found a spot.
Review 23:After a roundtrip through Andalucia we were glad to stay a few days in Palacio Blanco. We liked the plunge pool at the roof, the honousty bar and the central location in the town Velez-Malaga with little tourists.
Review 24:No negatives for us

Review 43:Having to go home!
Review 44:The hotel owner Christa did everything she could to make our visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We weren't sure about staying in a hotel with two small children but she really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She and her husband were so friendly and welcoming, making it feel more like staying at someone's house rather than a hotel. The atmosphere was tranquil and sophisticated without feeling stuffy and formal in any way. Would recommend for anyone looking for a special place to stay, with kids or without.
Review 45:When we stayed at the hotel the nights were cold. The bedroom floor is tiled and really cold for bare feet.
Review 46:Christa & Jan are very helpful and friendly. Our room was attractively furnished, comfortable (great bed) with a nice outlook from the windows. Spacious bathroom with a proper window. The choice of breakfast fare was perfect. There is a very nice sundeck on the top floor of the hotel.
Review 47:If there are noisy couples also staying there (the hotel only has 9 rooms), the peace is disturbed.
Review 48:Jan and Christa, the owners are lovely. The quality of the rooms and the hotel is outstanding Perfect for relaxing and escaping!
Review 49:Street noise
Review 50:Everything and everyone, a great place staffed with exceptional people, unique and wonderful our thanks to all at Palacio Blanco
