Review 1：Disappointed that the bean to cup coffee machine had been replaced by cheaper machine delivering poor coffee. Food was not as good as before, some nights it was difficult to find good main course. Soups and sorbets are excellent though.

Review 2：Upgraded rooms, access to poolside loungers all day was good, view from top floor at breakfast and dinner is awesome. Porto Soller has lovely, unspoilt and relaxed feel. Nice to walk round the bay at night and soak up the atmosphere. Narrow gauge train ride from Soller to Palma is spectacular.

Review 3：The pool area was nice, but even in the warm sun, the water was so cold that it was difficult to stay in long. Breakfast was plentiful, but the quality was low. I couldn't find anything that tasted fresh or tasty; I'd prefer less of a selection, but better quality food. There was no fan in the bathroom, so the room got quite humid and musty after showers, but we just had a door on to a common patio, so we couldn't leave the window open to let it air out. There was a/c, but that stunk so badly that we couldn't use it. The staff was friendly, and there was a cava welcome drink, but I don't know that for 125/night in late September it was worth it.

Review 4：We thought this hotel was a fine place to stay, though it didn't blow us away by any means. The rooms were clean, the WiFi was fast, and the views from the pool and restaurant were lovely. The location was nice, and the walk back up to the hotel (not steep) after dinner was a welcome way to help digest.

Review 9：There was nothing bad about our stay. We would have preferred a sea view room - ours backed onto a pretty, quiet garden which unfortunately was swarming with a lot of biting insects, which meant we didn't sit outside after the first attack! We appreciate though that only about half of the rooms have a sea view and it's probably first come, first served.

Review 11：Fantastic view over Port Soller bay from the room, the breakfast balcony and the pool. Room comfortable and nicely designed, great shower. Lovely big pool with lots of loungers available. Very good breakfast selection. Only a five minute walk from bars, restaurants and tram stop.

Review 17：We liked everything about this hotel: location, staff, room. We were nicely greeted at the reception and got an unexpected upgrade to the suit! Personnel is friendly and multilingual. Rooms are large, modern and newly refurbished, spotlessly clean, with large balconies facing the marina. Pool is relatively large and deep and offers a nice view on the marina, too. Bar upstairs is serving great cocktails. Some reviewers were mentioning that wifi was not free: well, seems that they started to provide free wifi access (as of August 2015). Steps leading to the hotel uphills, connecting hotel and the marina, are not steep and there are not too many of them. The taxi runs to the entrance door by the road.

Review 18：The room was extremely small, less than 3 meters wide. The bathroom towels were worn out. The breakfast was awful: poor quality of the food, dirty stuff of the evening meal left around, and, often, dishes not properly washed!

Review 19：The hotel has a separate gourmet restaurant for dinner with a fixed menu, changed weekly. We tried it once and it was excellent, both for the food and the service.

Review 20：The room was far too warm (the air-con was ineffective) so we didn't sleep well at all. The room was also very small. It was fine as we just stayed two nights but I don't think we could have possibly stayed longer as it got too claustrophobic and messy

Review 24：The hotel is a bit uphill in Port de Soller and it goes steep uphill and ends with 140 steps before entering the pool area. The main entrance is reachable by car, there is a 500 meters steep road to the parking place which is close to the hotel reception. The parking place is not very large and more suitable for small cars. The first day, the check-in went smoothly: very friendly receptionist and we got a welcome drink. Rooms are rather small but tastefully furnished and clean. The bathroom is small but with excellent shower. The choice at breakfast was really excellent! The pool area is clean and spacious and getting a sun-bed is not normally a problem. Wifi connection was okay. Puerto Soller is a good location for nice walks and tours in the neighborhood.

The refurbishments are to a high standard and the rooms, whilst having always been spotlessly clean, are now bright and modern as well. The staff continue to give a very high standard of service and are always cheerful and very helpful. I needed to e-mail an enquiry to the hotel before my visit and received a very prompt and helpful reply. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a very wide choice every day. The only thing I would like is a better coffee machine. I would also say that even though the refurbishments have lifted the standard of the facilities at this hotel this has not been reflected in the price. It is extremely good value for money and I would definitely recommend it. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting this resort.

Reception staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English (as well as German due to the majority of guests being German!). Use of wireless was extra (9 Euros for 3 days use), but I was expecting this anyway. TV had BBC 1, 2, News, Eurosport (in German) so good for catching up on news before bed...

Review 91：I would not recommend this hotel, it was probably the most expensive and the worst hotel we have stayed (and believe we travel a lot). We have never complained about the hotels, while travelling, this was our first time. First we got the room on the first floor, and it had few problems – insects, like cockroaches running around and terrible smell. After complaining, the staff has changed the room to third floor. But unfortunately this had problems as well. The room was really tinny. There was no isolation between the rooms – even though I used earplugs, I clearly heard the person snoring in the other room. Some insects were also present in the room. There was a plastic bed cover (underneath the normal cover), which sounded terrible, if making even small movements. We just had to take it away, rearranging all the covers. We didn’t complain this time, and survived 7 nights – at some point wanted to change the hotel, but due to busy August, was practically impossible. No value for money paid at all, but this of course might be due to the reason, that Mallorca is rather expensive place.

What deserves mentioning is that the staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. The perfect hotel for a low-budget vacation and an ideal location to discover the west/north coast of Mallorca and it's mountains.

If you spoke to them in Spanish they would reply in Spanish (i.e not insist in practicing their own English language skills as in many other establishments). Most (if not all) rooms overlook pool & adjacent gardens: though ground floor rooms have restricted view. Reception/restaurant on top floor. Rooms decent size & masses of storage space including good high shelf for keeping suitcases from cluttering the floor. Fridge in room (we at first thought was a minibar). TV was modern 23-inch flat-screen with plenty channels (though none in English) Breakfasts were very comprehensive (wide range of hot & cold + plenty fruit) Overall, a very well run establishment

The hotel is located up the hillfrom the main part of town, but there are stairs that lead directly tothe strip of shops and restaurants. The town beach is only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel staff I interacted with were veryfriendly and helpful. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay. The poolis large and clean, the hotel offers wonderful views of the town, thebay, and the surrounding mountains. I would definitely stay here again.
