Review 1：A bit far from Barcelona central but we already knew that when we booked.

Review 4：Customer service was good even though as I was in the apartments I only had to go into the main hotel twice on my 5 night stay.

Review 5：Hotel tried to charge us considerably more than the rate quoted at the time of booking - 130 euros more than quoted for 5 nights. They rectified this when pointed out. In addition we asked the price of breakfast and were told it was 8 euros per person on the final bill they charged 13 euros per person.

Review 7：apartment was worn out and needed modernising. Pull down sofa bed was difficult to operate. Hob was useless (had to ask for a 30 min checkout time extension because it took me nearly an hour to cook the sausages! Have stayed in the hotel before and was expecting higher standards that would match those of the hotel, even though this was obviously going to be a more basic apartment.

Review 9：The first apartment (upstairs) was nothing like pictured online. No space for family dining, sofa bed was old and falling apart. We asked to be moved to the apartments as pictured online and the staff did accommodate our request and moved us to the nicer downstairs apartment. Kitchen was quite minimalist. Wifi connection was easily lost.

Review 11：Very difficult to find the entrance to the apartment. Had to go back to reception 3 times. Very small apartments with no door to separate bedroom. Full of mosquitos and a very bad smell.

Review 12：Not on the beach as the pictures may make you think. The apartments are 2nd line. The very nosy tiburon club is just around the corner. The sofa bed was a bit dirty.

Review 18：We had two apartments one was in good condition everything worked well. The second apartment was in need of a bit of a refurbishment. Fridge and safe were not working but these were fixed within 2 days. There was a busy nightclub which meant that there was noise until the early hours at the weekend which would not spoil your Stay if u were a heavy sleeper.

Review 38：The wifi was spotty. Our apartment was far from the main hotel. The kitchen in the apartment was bare bones with low quality, mis-matched pots and pans.

Review 48：Be aware that there are 3 types of apts. Deluxe, newly built duplex, the best choice - their picture is on the web. The old building newly renovated, only the ground floor apts are worth the money. The apts on the top are not worth.

Review 49：Location. Castelldefels beach are at few minutes walk. They are clean and all services are available. Barcelona is at 20 min by car, 40 min by train, 60 min by the bus that stop nearby. Buy the multi-ticket in the newspaper shop.

Review 51：We liked the proximity to the beach, supermarket, pharmacy andrestaurants. We also loved walking the beach over to Port Ginesta. Alsowe used the train service a lot (great value) going intoBarcelona(beautiful City), if only the train stop was closer to thehotel but it is a nice walk. The bed is huge like a football field andvery comfortable. The spiral staircase is a beautiful feature in theapartment. The shower area is the best that we ever stayed in, suchspace and a solid non slip slate floor(fantastic).Self catering wasexcellent and we enjoyed the local fish market produce. Balcony verynice relaxing out at end of day with glass of wine. It is a verypeaceful place we slept very well and the people were very friendly andvery helpful.

Review 53：We had booked into the slightly... Budget part of the hotel, but when we complained that the apartment was a little bit smokey... They put us into a much nicer apartment and we had a great holiday.

Review 54：The water out of the tap has a very strong chloride smell, but you canbuy 8 liter containers of pure water at the supermarket for 1 euro.Weather was great but it wasn't warm enough to swim. When lying on the beach in the daytime you will be bothered by street vendors trying to sell sunglasses or massages. On Ascension day everything was closed early in Castelldefels, including restaurants. Only the supermarket was open. very noisy at night, poor sound proofing in the rooms. Not very much kitchen supply's. We went to have breakfast at the hotel one day but it was very poor, not really worth the 13 euro's. Eggs were cold, milk was warm.

Review 55：We booked a normal apartment, but judging by the pictures on booking.comwe got an deluxe apartment which is great. It looks exactly as it doesin the pictures. The staff was friendly and housekeeping was very tidy.It's literally a 20 second walk from the beach and a 20 second walkfrom the hotel, where you have to check in. You can use all thefacilities of the hotel(E.G. The pool). There is a small supermarketnearby. From Castelldefels a bus (l94, takes about an hour) goes toCatalunya plaza in Barcelona, from where you can walk to all the placesof interests. We bought a t-10 ticket which was around 10 Euro’S. Thisticket represents 10 single trips for as many persons as you like (max.10). You can use this in the subway, train and bus. Wifi available inthe apartment and on the beach of Castelldefels. Signal is poor anddoesn’t always work, but most of the time it does. We normally eataround 18:00 but the catalonian eat around 21:00 so all the restaurantswere quiet and food was served fast.
