Review 2：From the write up and pictures you would be under the impression that the restaurant, bar,cafe were all in the one building this is not so. You only sleep there anything you need like food/drink/snacks you have to go to bar next door or elsewhere for these.

Review 6：The stuff is very friendly. We mostly interacted with the evening person and he was very helpful. The room is in a good location in the town. Not to close to the shore so parking is relatively easy in the vicinity. El Medano is for me the best place to stay in Tenerife on the south side. Its not developed compared to rest of the uglyness of the island Very close to the airport Internet was satisfactory Value for money.

Review 7：Be aware you're on a main thorofare and so the traffic is noisy at night and the nearby bars are noisy too on occasion.

Review 9：I have been here a couple of times before and this place is definitely fading. Handles in the bathroom are falling of, the door to the balcony was impossible to close properly, The wifi was not as good as before. And the interior hall is extremely dark and it is difficult to find the light switches. I hope the owners are ready for a makeover soon...

Review 24：It is also very close to the airport which means it gets really loud. Especially when staying at a budget hostel where the balcony door has no soundproofing whatsoever. But that was of course a given - it's a hoStel. The big disappointment was the fact that at 7am (catching a 9am flight) there was no hot water in the shower!!! And noone in the reception either. There was no time to call and wait for someone to react so we just had to use the sink...

Review 25：It is located in the hip surfertown El Medano so there were some cool restaurants and bars on the promenade which was very close. There's a fridge!

Review 26：When we got up to leave at 5.30am the outside door had a sign on to say 'open just push'. Great nice and easy to leave (no staff on) only on the outside the sign said 'open just pull' not very good security!!

Review 50：The location of the hostal was very good, very close to the beach, supermarket, bus station etc. The staff was very nice and helpful (they helped me to order a taxi, I was able to leave the luggage at the reception after the check out, they answered to all the questions I had). I felt very comfortable and save, having in mind that I travelled alone. The room had a balcony.

Review 52：As this was marketed as a Hostal, it was a lot better than i expected, I had booked breakfast and was asked if i wanted tea or coffee, i asked if i could have Cappuccino!!? i got Cappuccino every morning! Overall very good, and would definitely stay there again.

Review 53：Seems to be the best deal in El Medano, the cheapest hotel with fairly comfortable, nice rooms. Only 2 minutes walking from the seaside, little longer to Playa Medano. Friendly staff, quite rooms with balconies with great views to the mountains.

Review 55：It was necessary to have a hotel near to the airport as our flight was very early in the morning. This hotel was selected from the Internet and proved ideal. The adjacent restaurant provided a welcome evening meal.

Review 121：Location was great, a close walk to the beach. Check in and out was quick and easy. Fridge in room. Nice little balcony. Elevator access. By hostel standards, it was fantastic. If you're expecting a nice hotel, this isn't it. For example, the light on our balcony was burnt out with a bird's nest built in it and the bed was a bit minimalist and hard. But it was great for us and a good value for the money.

Review 124：All windows are on the street and you will hear motorcycles and cars making noise every morning. There are no air conditioning, so starting from May there will be very hot in the rooms. No sea view.

Review 127：It was very conveniently located, near the beach and near the airport. On a main road and not particularly sound proof but it was a quiet time of year and so we didn't have much trouble with noise / sleep. Soaps and free wifi provided, and our room had a small balcony. The receptionist kindly showed us to our room despite the fact that he looked really tired; gentle staff.
