Review 1：Found it very noisy, could hear the TV from the next room, also noise from corridors, appears poor sound insulation. Also half the hotel has a fantastic view towards the castle, the other half is totally blocked and overlooked by the next door hotel.

Review 3：While nicely refurbished 4 years ago the building is poorly sound proofed hence you may hear your neigbours. Second the hotel is offering parking lots in the public car park just located in front of the hotel. This is convenient but this car park is poorly designed so if you get a big car you may have difficulties to park (and above all to park out) in / from your designed parking lot. Third, the hotel offers very few sea view rooms and a "sea side view" is not a sea view.

Review 4：Cleanliness, modern premises and location are the main positive points. The breakfast room is agreable while the food offer itself is correct. Nice restaurant (Vinoteca) just close to the hotel.

Review 5：The pool was drained, the terraza was closed, they were cleaning the pipes so there was no water for drinking or showering my last day ( you would think they might mention that before you book) and the smell of mold in my bathroom was so bad I would start gagging if I took a breath. Told them about it and their solution was to have someone pour bleach down the drain while I was out. Then it just smellled like bleach plus mold. The place was pretty empty. They could have just given me a different room.

Review 18：We were given room 114b, which had inter-leading doors to 114a and 114c. The noise insulation was very poor, we could hear everything that was going on in the two neighboring rooms. We did not sleep well at all because of the noise from other rooms.

Parking was just across the road in underground car park, from what I could figure out, the overnight rate is 7 euros, whether or not staying in hotel. If you want to get the hotel rate, then ask them for card, before driving into car park.

Review 38：Not a deal breaker we knew it didn't have parking but you have to pay 7 euros a day in the underground car park but it is across the road. I guess in season it would be difficult to find free parking but you may be able to find it if you are prepared to walk.

Review 40：This time I have to say my room was somehow noisy because of the water discharge of the WC coming from the upper floors... every time a customer was using his WC there was a big noise because of the water flush. This happened several times, also very late in the night...

Review 51：We Enjoyed a relaxing Christmas break at Portochristo as opposed to the "traditional" English Christmas!!. No crowds of manic shoppers trying to get a last minute bargains. The Hotel staff were friendly , we were a little worried initially when told that evening meals were served at a restaurant two doors away, as it happened it turned out to be an ideal arrangement for us the food served there was excellent, almost gourmet standard ( not typical English ) just what we were looking for served by friendly staff. The Hotel was ideal in location and size , a soak in the hot tub an hour before dinner was a bonus . Our room was lovely with good views.

Review 52：The reception staff could not ha e been more helpful. Although the dining room was closed in the evening the hotel arranged for us to eat in a nearby restaurant which was good. The breakfast was taken in the hotel and very good selection.

Hotel is located on the main strip and close and close to everything in Peniscola. Many shops and restaurants in the area were closed for the season however enough were open to make our stay very pleasant and peaceful!

Review 58：Wifi speed almost non-existent, kept disconnecting. Food was dry on top and not hot, needs heating from below, not above. They are obviously aware of problem as microwave available. No one available for show cooking without being asked.

Review 60：Our room (214) was on the side of Hotel Prado. The balconies were very close and not private. We were above the kitchen and it was very noisy after every meal It sounded as if the plates were being thrown at the wall instead of being put in the dishwasher. The bathroom had a very musty smell, coming either from the sink or the shower. Not one English channel shown on the tv - if you want to attract English visitors, this needs to be addressed. One particularly surly waiter in the restaurant who, for some reason, always left clearing our used plates until we had finished our meal.

Review 66：I reserved a room with sea view and kingsize bed in december for the following september - we got a lateral sea view with a queensize bed. The reason was that for one night they give no sea view rooms. So why putting such rooms on Booking.com and on the Hotel site. Not serious from the part of the Hotel. Therefore I woud never book again this Hotel. Also breakfast was very poor, the room was not really clean and the room maids already make noise quite after 8 in the morning. For a holiday destination it was not top.

Review 68：This is a 4-star Coast hotel, which means that according to Spanish standards, it will not be as good as a city 4-star in terms of facilities and services. This place is however very close.

Review 69：We had a corner room with double terrace facing the sea and the castle, and it is a nice room with a magnificent view. Breakfast was good, pool was excellently located and is comfortable, plus you have the beach at your doorstep as well. Nice chill out terrace on the top floor. Excellent location close to the old town.

Review 71：The room & shower room weren't as spacious as some 4* but were nicely fitted out & designed with plenty of storage. The rooms are light, modern, airy & comfortable. The buffet has an excellent selection & the staff were helpful, friendly & efficient, particulary the Mexican chef, who speaks good English. The Chillout bar on the roof has a stunning view of the castle, beach & old town at night! The pool, seating areas & jacuzzi were all excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
