Review 1：The negative side to our stay,we had taken the option half board and found not much choice in the restaurant and were rushed through,the waiter cleared my husbands plate after our first course before I was finished and virtually hovered at the table waiting for me to finish and the food was only OK.Not what we expected in a hotel like this.

Review 15：Unfortunately both my lunch and dinner were a disappointment. I wondered if there had been a change of chef since my last stay and excellent meal. As well, the female waitress refused to take my order because I didn't speak fluent Spanish, and had her colleague take it instead.
Review 16：The beautiful location, the outstanding reception staff, the atmosphere of the hotel, the majority of the restaurant staff, the balcony overlooking the beach and the sea, the sunsets, the breakfast, the peace and serenity, and the charming Spanish decor.

Review 25：Only twin bedsSmokers standing at the entrance to the hotel smoking.. Bacon only cooked on one side as it was placed on a tray and grilled. Lack of covered parking for all guests. I was not keen that the hotel allowed dogs but did not see them in the public areas, just the thought that they may have been in the room I was in. They may have been kept in a separate area , I just do not know.
Review 26：It was a modernised but old style friendly hotel with a sense of calmand peacefulness.The situation right on the beach with the loungers provided without extra charge and under cover if one so wished. If it was not for the fact there were no double beds I would have stayed.at this hotel again and would recommend it to those not cocerned about having twin beds.
Review 27：It is a really good family owned hotel. Its out of season prices are really good. It is by far the best bet in Peniscola - and interesting town.
