Review 1：Super nice staff. We've had some a car accident in Titisee, since we don't speak german, the staff in front-desk helps us so much.Otherwise we couldn't communicate with the police and the car rental service. We really appreciate that. By the way, the hotel's location and breakfast are also impressive.

Review 5：The bed was slightly too soft, but that could be only my personal preference. We took two rooms. The room that faced the back was totally quiet. The room that faced the front (towards the main street and the railway station) was slightly noisy in the morning, even though the windows are double glazed. This critic is relevant only to people who really like absolute quiet - others are advised to disregard it.

Review 16：This place is dated and overpriced. We had to wait a day to get extra pillows. It feels like a hostel and not like a hotel. The breakfast is not impressive and the breakfast tables are park benches where you have to claim over to get in. There is no staff after 6pm. No WiFi in the room - just in the public area.

Review 24：The room we got was a great size, and the bed was very comfortable. There was lots of space, with a little couch and table, and a walk in wardrobe area. Everything was very clean. The hotel was located very close to the centre with bars and restaurants, and also a ten minute walk to the Palm Oasis. Staff were very friendly and as we were leaving early the next morning and would miss breakfast, they packed us a take-away breakfast, which was really great!

Review 31：It was impossible to fully close the curtains (we need full darkness in order to sleep). If you come later than 6 p.m. you get the schwarzwald card (red card) only the next day (so you can't go to Badeparadis for example), and you cannot use the WiFi on that day.

Review 32：Great and helpful staff, great breakfast. You can check-in in a late hour using automatic check-in machine (come with the reservation details). Close to the lake and to the main road. WiFi was low even in public areas, but they also have a desktop!

Review 35：We were unable to attend due to a incident on the Sunday at the Nurburgring. Attempted to call hotel after we got home from paying x amount of euros for recovery and damages to not get through on the phone. Called up and explained we have had to go home early due to the injury and transport of the vehicle back to England to be told we would have to pay full charges.

Review 37：Everything. The room, the active focus, the staff (all exceptional!!), the breakfast...Very quiet and peaceful area yet touristy. Loved, loved, loved the place. The gals at the front desk & at breakfast went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

Review 38：It was farer than expected. The hotel was at the back of the train station, but you have to walk a rather long distance before reaching the entrance. Apart from that, I was pleased with the service provided.

Review 43：Seems the place was once a youth hostel and has been "upgraded". The roots show, however. We had a huge, cold room in the second building that was probably once a ten bed dormotory! Wifi was shambolic, basically only working in the communal "lounge" area.
