Review 1：Loved this Pension...the English family running it were just fantastic...made you feel at home. The breakfast was very nice as well. The rooms are nothing fancy, but are certainly adequate. I am already making plans for a return trip and plan to stay here again (or at one of the family's other hotels in the area).

Review 2：Location is very close to the city center, very clean, owners are very kind and helpful, breakfast was rich and delicious, hotel had cribs, free tea, coffee and soft drinks, free parking, and cosy environment

Review 3：We arrived a bit late and were very tired after a long day on the motorcycles. The owner came out and welcomed us in German and I thought oh know wish he could speak english...he then broke into a great yorkshire accent and full english. Turns out they are from York where we are from so we had a big chat. They looked after us so well. Our friends did not have a room booked in town and they arrived later than us but they found a room for them and made them very welcome too. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip!!

Review 5：Old rooms, smoke of the cigarettes from the balcony, no light in bathroom. When we asked for the light, they said : tomorrow. Wi-Fi worked only every 20 minutes for maybe 2 - 3 minutes.

Thereafter his wife and son couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Great value for money, fantastic spread for breakfast - highly recommended

Review 11：The way we were treated from check-in till check-out, entirely as a friend. The owners Cathy and Allen are perfect, thoughtful and trying best to meet even our specific request such as having a kettle in our room.

Review 12：Location of Bergseeblick was fantastic. Staff were brillant, very informative of local area and Titisee is wonderful place to go with children. Pension gave us a 'Hochschwarzwald karte' which was absolutely fantastic - free entrances to over 50 spots in area. Our children loved accomdation, area and all the activities. Big thank you to Allan & Cathy for making us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Review 13：We booked our short stay at the last minute and had a fantastic time: our hosts were everything you could wish for - friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming and very flexible. Everything was very clean, the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. A hearty breakfast, too. Thank you for a lovely time - we look forward to our next visit!!

Review 15：Gracious, informative and friendly English hosts. Essentially full English and complete European breakfast offerings was fabulous and served with great kindness.

Review 16：We were made so welcome by Alan & Cath that we felt entirely at home. They also went out of their way to help when one of our group was taken to hospital. The location is superb in a quiet place just 5minutes walk to the lake, shops & restaurants.

Review 19：The hotel is run by a lovely family who were very welcoming and hospitable. I really enjoyed sharing a beer with them on the balcony in the evenings. I miss them already. The breakfast was spot on!

Review 21：Kath, Alan and their son gave us a warm welcome and they made us feel like we had known them for years. The hotel is homely, comfortable and very close to the town and its facilities, the balcony was a bonus and it was pleasant to sit out there on an evening with a beer or glass of wine available from the restaurant and was excellent value . The breakfasts are fantastic, I cannot think of anything that wasn't available. My wife and myself really wished we had booked more that two nights as there is so much to do in the area, it's easy to get about with the train station and bus stops so close but mainly we wanted to spend more time with Kath and the gang.

Review 23：A breakfast which surpasses many larger hotels which we stayed in during our 2 week tour of Germany and France! Very friendly owners who made sure we had a pot of "real tea" . Worth booking a room with a balcony. Good parking outside property. Easy walk to Titisee lake with great restaurants serving local trout.

Review 27：What a lovely couple Alan and Kath are. This isn't a B and B you are welcomed into their home and made a fuss of from the minute you arrive. Lovely little touches free tea coffee facilities something you don't see a lot of in this part of the country. Beautiful spread at breakfast catering for all. 2 minutes from centre of Titisee

Review 31：It was a very good time there. We notice the contagious happiness in helping people and doing everything with love. they are very kind. The breakfast is very good. Specially the kid loved it. The most important thing that happened to me, it was a problem when I forgot my trousers with 1.500 euros inside. I just realized that I forgot my trousers and the money when I was paying the lunch. When I came back, it was in a locker. It was found by the cleaners and returned with all my money inside. Congratulations on the wonderful job. If I decide to come back, I' ll stay there for sure.

Review 34：The British retired couple that runs this hotel are so helpful and warm. They cook the breakfast fresh daily, and the croissants were flaky and delicious. They made the family feel at home---all 5 of us in a two-room family suite. He even ran out to jumpstart our car when the battery died due to a light left on. The location was awesome--a short walk to the lake. It isn't fancy, but clean, friendly, and feels just like home.

Review 108：Nice clean comfortable place to stay for a weekend trip. The family who owed the hotel was very sweet. They don't speak much English but still very helpful. Nice breakfast. The rooms are quiet. Good location, quick walk to center of town and there a bus stop close by or a quick drive to the slopes. They have an earlier check in than most places allowing you to check in at 1pm which is very nice.

When I had to catch a train earlier than the normal breakfasttime, the owner did breakfast an hour earlier just for me and then droveme to the station. These are the things that stay with you long afteryour holiday. Also, if you stay 3 days or longer you receive thetransport card for free travel in the Schwarz Wald area which makesTitisee a good base. The tourist office was very friendly and all therestaurants I visited (except one) the same. I would stay at PensionBergseeblick again.
