Review 8：Wonderful service and helpful staff. On Monday afternoon Hotel spa was empty and, therefore, it fell more like individual sauna. Free table tennis and a nice swimming pool.

Review 9：No huge downsides. We were sad the Jacuzzi was not heated, but still enjoyed the pool. There was some problem with the shower - it suddenly went scalding hot - and the coffee in the room was decaf (first world problems...), but we didn't actually mention either of these things to the staff, and I bet if we did they would have been happy to rectify.

Review 10：This is a cute little place perched on the hillside above the steep, rocky coast of Estellencs. It is easy to find, clean, comfortable, and has a neat indoor pool with all sorts of interesting jets. It was a nice break from the soulless beach resorts that cover much of Mallorca.

Review 20：The only inconvenient could be the location, since it is in a very little village with only some restaurants but nothing like a little grocery store for example. But it is very calm and relaxing, with a wonderful view on the sea.

Review 21：Our stay at the Maristel Hotel was very good. I asked them a couple of favors since I was planning to ask my girlfriend for her hand in front of the beautiful Mallorca's landscape, and they have been very helpful. Room was great, swimming pool and Spa were very good too.

Review 22：The noise from the Fiesta! We arrived on the Sunday. A programme of Fiesta events ran from Tuesday until Saturday. On 2 nights pounding rock music lasted until 6:00 am. Mobile shop stationed opposite hotel for 5 days selling tack and sweets, also BANGERS which small boys let off in street incessantly until the small hours! Locals indifference to tourists during the week. Long walk up hill from "Beach" bar in the August heat.

Review 23：The pool terraces and Jacuzzis. The indoor pool and Spa. Junior Suite on top floor with terrace, sunbeds and parasol and 2 flat screen TVs. Outstanding views down to sea. Excellent WiFi in all areas. Staff were attentive and courteous

Review 36：The hotel we were happy with. The beach was a challenging walk to even though it is an "easy" hike. When we reached there it wasn't so nice and it was overcrowded for such a small beach.

Review 37：Breakfast was really good and the sea view from our room was amazing. Worth the extra money we paid for it as we avoided the noise from the road as well. Spa facilities were ok. The staff in reception helped us rent a car and the process was very fast and simple. The bus stop for Palma is just next to the hotel which made things very easy to get to the airport and there were a good few restaurants and grocery shop close by.

Review 41：Internet connection is shared between venues in the whole Estelencs municipality. Bandwidth limitation can be a challenge if you want to stay connected. Hotel is lobbying for the connection upgrade, we have signed the petition. Hopefully speed will be improved greatly soon.

Review 84：The bed mattress was awful. At my expense I cut my holiday short because it was impossible to sleep. Apart from asking for a good bed in my email to them before hand, I also requested a quite room . They assured me the matress was medium firm and the rooms soundproofed. there is no soundproofing and all their beds are soft. all I heard as i lay awake on the floor was chairs squeaking, people squealing and other rooms air con and toilet activities. a constant tinny sound. Really dissapointed with the hotel and got a flight home because no other hotels in the area had availability. I was even charged the day I left as I had not checked before 12pm. Really they shouldn't have charged me for this but I didn't quibble I just wanted to get home to sleep.

The coastal road is great for cycling but if you want to explore the island as a whole it can take a while to get anywhere. Window view is worth the upgrade.

The indoor swimming pool was great and sitting round the outdoor pool was also very nice. Dining room good. Reception staff were so helpful and pleasant.

Review 105：This village and this hotel is the place if you want to get away from it all. The area is lovely and the view from the room was gorgeous. The hotel has an outdoor pool which is great for cooling down and and indoor pool and spa which is perfect for a quick swim. Especially in the morning or at night when you have the pool to yourself. The hotel provides a big bath towel and a bathrobe.

Review 106：Evening buffet meal not a good standard in our opinion, potato option consisted of what seemed to be frozen chips/wedges/roast potatoes rotated daily and kept in a tureen which steamed the potatoes and made them tough and not very nice. Food temperature overall not hot enough. Very disappointed with quality of food - not what we would expect from a 4* hotel.

Worst of all though was the food.The breakfast is not worth 12 euros as most of the cake and even thefruit are processed/supermarket/tinned. The cooked breakfastoptions looked like recycled dinner. I was talked into having dinner for20 Euros as they said it was a 'huge' buffet - well, expect poorquality tinned pickles and vegetables for starters, hardly any freshsalad, one meat, one fish, one veggie main - all of which were veryaverage and non-traditional (chicken curry? Lasagne?) - the dessertswere also underwhelming (very poor quality ice cream and limited rangeof fruit). Overall nice hotel but spare the money forbreakfast/dinner as there are a few nice restaurants and a breakfastcafe right next door.

Review 115：The staff were fantastic especially the receptionist Audrey who could not be more helpful. Night porter even came to tell me my light of my car were on. Loved the town and we're invited to the opening night of a new bar by the locals who were great fun.

Review 116：There is no bank in the town, so if you want cash money you have to take the bus to the neighbouring village (+- 20 minutes). But apart from the local grocery store, you can pay with VISA/Mastercard everywhere.

This area of Mallorca is a lot calmer than the more touristic parts, so really good to rest and take walks trough the beautiful area The town itself is very small but the public transportation is very good.
