Reviews for Beatriz Albacete
Review 1:Somewhat outskirts location, but no problem with free parking.
Review 2:Spacious room. During our stay wedding party people were loud, but was pleased with quite quiet room.
Review 3:The fact that in the middle of the summer and it's 37C and after a long drive there's no pool to use or relax in after our arrival. The indoors spa facility was closed on Monday's, why??? That's why we booked, never stayed in a 4-star with no serviceable pool. On that basis alone I'd never stay there again. A four star Hotel and no pool in Spain in the summer The "pool" in the garden was obviously not used in a very very long time and quite clearly not in service. It was dark green and full of algae and as a Scuba Diver I know algae when I see algae. So we retired to the Bar. Another disappointment. It was empty and devoid of any atmosphere at all. Had the type of chairs you'd find in Burger King or such place that encourage you to leave quickly. Revolting Lime Green and beige colours, hard plastic chairs. Very cheap. The Bartender should sue the Charm school and get his money back as quite obviously he failed the course. Not to be recommended. And the algae filled pool is a disgrace. If we had not been so tired we would have packed up the car and gone someplace else.
Review 4:The bed and room size. Nice bathroom too.
Review 5:The barman in the restaurant was most unhelpful. As there was no hot food available till 20.30 we asked about sandwiches or salads and he said nothing but ham. We later realised there was a selection of sandwiches on room service so he could have got us better service.
Review 6:The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room lovely, breakfast and free WIFI very good
Review 7:Food: "Dinner" was more like cheap fast food from a fish & chip shop. Two pieces of the same type of hot meat for breakfast on the first morning were different in colour, with one piece not tasting good at all. Facilities: Pity there wasn't a comfortable bar separate from the restaurant with some entertainment.
Review 8:Clean and secure.
Review 9:Everything was great!
Review 10:Cold food had to ask to have it heated up just to make it tepid. People being sick in the lift.
Review 11:Location to the motorway
Review 12:Spoilt slightly by some poor quality and bad fitting fixtures - easily sorted.
Review 13:Excellent almost new hotel.
Review 14:Nothing
Review 15:Ideal stop over hotel
Review 16:Location Bad accessibility by foot
Review 17:Big room Cleanliness
Review 18:Bed very hard mattress, otherwise v good overall
Review 19:Room v good. Price v good staff excellent all good
Review 20:Great position for seeing the town
Review 21:Room was beautiful. Air con great. Shower brilliant Breakfast value for money. Will definitely return again.
Review 22:No fuss, good accommodation suitable for a brief exploration of area or stop while heading to/from Madrid.
Review 23:This is hands down the best low budget hotel I've ever stayed. Totally worth it for €55!!!
Review 24:This hotel puts style before function and service. Poor welcome, when handed the room key we were told only that it was on the first floor with no indication as to how to get there or where to go to find the lifts or stairs. The room had completely bare walls and contained no information whatsoever about the hotel services or facilities. The safe was locked and we had to make two requests for it to be opened, waiting twenty minutes to go out before anyone came. The lighting was so dim and badly positioned that is was impossible to read a book or newspaper. There was only one chair in this twin-bedded room. The bathroom with plenty of floor space had literally no shelf space, no pegs on which to hang towels or clothes, no tumblers or plastic beakers or anything into which a toothbrush could be placed and nowhere for a used bar of soap other than the rim of the washbasin from which it kept slipping into the basin due to its rounded design. In the morning the water from the hot tap and shower was barely tepid.
Review 25:Close to an exit from the autovia and undercover secure parking with direct access into the hotel. The excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and a very efficient manager/supervisor.
Review 26:On arrival, our lovely room was very cold, only 11degrees. We could not take our coats off and relax properly. When I asked at reception if there was another, warmer room, I was told that the temperature should be 19degrees and all the rooms were the same! I had adjusted the temperature controls as shown, but it had only reached 17degrees two hours later, just as we went for dinner. It never got above 19degrees during our visit, even though I set the desired temperature to 21 degrees. After a long day of driving, not being able to relax immediately, and having an equally cold bathroom, certainly took the edge off our visit. I was not happy with the cavalier attitude of the girl at reception, especially because she was not willing to improve the matter.
Review 27:The spacious room, clean modern décor, good value for money. We did not use the spa, but it looked very tempting for another visit.
Review 28:They have free parking in front of the hotel. Staff is good. Room was large enough and clean. SPA is good. You should get your short with you to use the pool, jacuzzi etc.
Review 29:Perhaps the lack of exterior furniture on balconies
Review 30:Situation of the hotel with regard to travel by car. Rooms perfectly adequate with regard to space and comfort. Good selection for breakfast. Would use again albeit on the outskirts of the city.
Review 31:Our room overlooked the terrace where a wedding was taking place which was well organised but we were kept awake by the noise from the disco. We should have been given a room on the outside of the hotel away from the noise.
Review 32:Acess from Autovia was easy and very convenient for travelling through spain. Food was good and room comfortable
Review 33:The hotel is situated in easy reach of the motorway but out on its own away from the town in an area which will hopefully be developed further in time. Downtown Albacete is a short drive away with plenty of bars and café/restaurants. The hotel did provide a limited evening 'menu del dia/noche' for €16 but not until 8pm
Review 34:On our way to Southern Spain this was an ideal second stop over leaving us only 3 hours to our final destination. A good quality and comfortable hotel which we would happily use again. There is ample free fenced parking outside the hotel and for more security an underground car park at a nominal charge of €6. We didn't realise that it existed until we went for breakfast in the basement buffet area.
Review 35:It is out of town in an industrial area so not somewhere you would walk. The wi-fi internet was poor and it made working on line difficult. A garden or somewhere just to sit outside would be nice.
Review 36:For a business visit to Albecete or a place to stay en route (Alicante-Madrid) this hotel is very good although you need a car (or taxi) to get into town. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast buffet is good. Access from the Autovia is easy.
Review 37:Staff at reception during check in speaks only spanish. In a 4 star hotel this is just unacceptable. Restaurant is really not super.
Review 38:A good hotel anyway.
Review 39:Some staff were a bit grumpy!
Review 40:Excellent clean hotel with good facilities.
Review 41:Hotel needs a curtesy bus
Review 42:One excellent hotel
Review 43:Didn't like the location
Review 44:very helpful staff, extremely well kept hotel
Review 45:Excelent breakefast!
