Reviews for Puerta del Sol
Review 1:Very clean, fantastic location, cheap parking, simple but nice breakfast. A great place to visit and would recommend the following places to eat, Peporro and Paloma.
Review 2:I told receptionist I would leave about 07.30 hours to start my walking (direction Santiago) OK coffee will be available... This was not so and having unlocked the front door there was no where to safely put the keys
Review 3:Location and cleanliness
Review 4:Air conditioning pumped out only warm air which made room very uncomfortable as they are quite compact
Review 5:Location was in the heart of the historic walled town with easy walk to sights. Parking was in the street outside walls but reasonably safe.
Review 6:Fairly limited breakfast but not an issue
Review 7:Hotel situated inside historic walled town where you can walk around the walls, easy walking distance to all restraunts and bars. great value for money.

Review 14:Overall a really nice hotel.but on the day we left...which was at 8.30 we couldn't open the outside door to leave. We had given the key in the night before when we paid. There is no other exit so in case of fire it would seem to be really dangerous. Basically there is one outside door per room so it's quite possible that on e person could be without the key and be locked inside. We phoned a number with no success and eventually found a key in a cupboard behind the desk which had all the room keys in it. Not much security there either!!!! Normally I wouldn't bother writing but I think there is serious risk here.
Review 15:Rooms 22 & 23 are in the eaves of the roof so we banged our headsseveral times. The Velux window in 23 wouldn't stay open so had touse air con all the time. Building work next door which started at 8ambut didn't disturb too much. Breakfast was very limited to toast(white bread only) and pre packed pastries which were dry and tasteless.Oj plentiful but tea and coffee both barely warm and had to ask forwater too be made much hotter for tea.
Review 16:The location of the hotel was excellent within the walled town and easyreach of cafe's and shops. One of the receptionists was extremelyhelpful (Isabella?) although her English was about as good as ourSpanish but we made do with Spanglish! All rooms were cleaned daily withnew towels and beds made. The showers in the bathroom were excellent.
Review 17:the 'Bimbo' bread for breakfast. Awful!
Review 18:Its location. The friendliness of the receptionist who did every job and always had time to smile. The room was excellent.
