Review 1：The restaurant opening at 20.30 and not 8...(p.m.) or even earlier... But great wines at a good price and good food.

Review 2：Helpfulness all round. Incredible selection of "things" like bikes, sauna, hamam, pool and paddle tennis, places to sit outside... A fantastic use of an old water mill and concrete with lovely ultra-modern bedrooms. Excellent breakfast. Easy to get to anywhere in Catalonia and not far from a long sandy beach. You want more...?

Review 3：Restaurant room is nice but lacks a bit of spirit. Too bad we could not have breakfast or dinner outside to enjoy the view over apple trees.

Review 4：Very nice pool with easy access for kids. Great location for sight seeing around the hotel. Great breakfast, nice staff. We wish we could have stayed at least one more day to enjoy a bike ride to the beach.

Review 7：classed as 4 star but misses the mark with small things. No bathrobe, slippers or body cream provided. No tea making facility in room. One bar of soap not replenished in a 4 night stay. Not enough dining or bar staff on the nights known in advance to be busy. Food was adequate (set menu 25 euros) but not really 4 star. Starters and deserts were nice but meat course was poor and overcooked.

Review 8：Nice pool big enough to have a proper swim. Facility to hire bike on site. Very pleasant serving staff. Pleasant room with balcony and rural view. The town is in walking distance but reception needs to provide a good scale map to help get there and find way around.

Review 10：On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly manner by the receptionist who spoke excellent English. The room was ultra-modern, a slight shock after more traditional hotels earlier in our trip! Once we had settled we found it very quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We slept comfortably and well. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with a wide range of choices although the scrambled egg and bacon were not to my taste. Dinner was excellent, as were the wines which were high quality, sensibly priced. We were advised by the very helpful restaurant manager who was charming, and very efficient as were his excellent and friendly team. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hotel grounds which are largely lawns, with a swimming pool and paddle tennis to keep you fit.

Review 11：No food available for children before 8:30pm, also dining in the evening was too formal for young kids. Would have been good to have an alternative option.

Review 21：Must have a car. If it starts to rain you have very limited options for entertainement. The restaurant is very good but the menu remains unchanged so it gets boring after some time. There are very limited options to eat outside of the hotel (something cheaper or local).

Review 23：Secluded location was nice, but hard to find even with gps. (Wemistrusted directions to turn down what looked like tractor trails --but they were right.) We spent no time in Torroella de Montgri itself,venturing to nearby attractions instead.

Review 24：Room was modern, clean, well-furnished, attractive and comfortable.Hotel is convenient to medieval villages of Peratallada and Pals, and tothe beaches of Costa Brava near Begur. Pool and spa were beautiful andrelaxing -- and not at all crowded during our stay. Breakfast wasdelicious; a very good buffet. (Not a blowout brunch, just a terrificbreakfast with offerings for everyone in the family.) Personnel werevery helpful in every way. Plenty of room for the kids to run around andkick a ball. (Ours seemed to be the only kids there.) Family suite wasideal for three adults and two young children.
