Review 1：the breakfast buffet was huge but the quality of the food was not too great.

Review 2：we just stayed for 1 night. the family room was large with a bed room and living room, spacious bathroom. The price for the room was good.

Review 4：Very impressive first impression of hotel on arrival. Thereafter the hotel lived up to this. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast varied and very enjoyable

Review 5：The pool is much smaller than the photo suggests and we went the week before it closed for the year so no outside bar/snacks available by the pool and no towels on the last day and the pool table had been made inoperable. Every day should be like the best day if you're open you owe it to your clients. Disappointing.

Review 7：The pools both inside and out were very cold so really they were unusable on the cloudier days. The shower and sink in the rooms were very hit and miss with hot water, sometimes the shower would be ok and the next day freezing cold!

Review 9：This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel and it is very rare that we return to the same hotel.We have no complaints.The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.We enjoy using the spa most days and the location of hotel is within a short bus ride to Palma if you fancy seeing the sites or an evening out.We will certainly return.There are bars and restaurants just across from the hotel which are superb and a short walk takes you to the Marina (15 mins).

Review 10：This year the hotel took it upon themselves to charge us 6 euros per day to park our hired car. We couldn't believe it. Being the typical British we paid but have made it known we are far from happy for having this charge added to our bill. Is this right that they should do this? We think not.

Review 11：We've been here many times. It suits us as we have relations who live nearby. It is also near to lots of places that we like to visit. We have also made friends with some of the hotel staff who we've got to know us over more than 13 years.

Review 12：The hotel is clean with excellent staff, great facilities. Its location is superb for getting to Porta Portals and Palma and the village around the hotel has great bars and restaurants

Review 13：No bad experience but would prefer the restaurant to be partitioned so not so big ( we would not eat there of an evening as too big and noisy). You could hear the people talking in next door bedrooms so a bit better sound insulation. The reception staff were not too friendly.

Review 20：Why would a hotel charge money for the use of the safe in the room? The breakfast was very much designed for British taste, still it was quite diverse. Dress code in the spa: wearing swimm wear+slippers+bathing cap in sauna and steam room is requested. If no bathing cap then you buy one at the spa entrance otherwise they don't let you in.

Review 49：I had several bad experiences. First of all, I found a parking tIcket on the screen of my rental car that I had parked on the lot in front of the hotel. I don't read spanish, but apparantly it was not meant for hotel guests. When I mentioned it the day after arrival at the reception they cheerfully said that that I certainly was not the first one with a ticket. Apparantly this hotel, that has been here for ages (it seems like at least 30 years old), has not the courtesy to ask their guests upon check in whether they have arrived by car. If you do arrive by car, know that there is no parking space and you will have to pay (I think sg like 5 euro per day) for parking. You also have to pay a daily fee to get the key to the safe in your hotel room closet. I have never seen something like that. Also bear in mind that it is not allowed to take a sandwich with you when you leave breakfast. That is just something that you need to know. I wasn't aware and put 1 little roll in my bag. And was then publicly shamed in a loud voice by two members of staff. Very unhospitable, treating me like a thief in front of other hotel guests. I just don't understand why people in the hospitality business can act like that.If they had asked me friendly, to not do this next time I come for breakfast, it would not have been a problem. Furthermore, I have been waking up a couple of nights in a row by our neighbours around 3 pm. Not because they were so extremely loud, but just because you can hear every little rumour. But it was high season and the hotel was fully booked. Due to the experiences with some members of staff, I did not feel very welcome here. I have also delivered an extensive evaluation questionnaire the day before departure to the reception. And nobody has made an effort to speak to me about my experiences. Which made it even more unpleasant.

Review 50：The hotel is situated close to the harbour, has good facilities and is in a reasonable / good state. The public is nice. The room was not so big, but nicely decorated, with a good bathroom and clean

Review 55：My only very, very minor niggle was that later on in the evenings the television channels would lose their signal a little. Yes, I know I didn't go there to watch the television but if you are watching something and suddenly the reception disappears its a little bit irritating.

Review 56：The facilities of the hotel are very good, large swimming pool, a smaller one for children and even a small indoor pool. Restaurant was excellent, I knew it would be a buffet style breakfast and dinner and was really pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of both, from cook to order omelettes in the morning and large prawns cooked to order in the evening along with steak. The choice was excellent and changed each evening. Air con worked well and the beds were queen size and comfortable. Also had the main UK tv channels in rooms and wifi throughout the hotel and grounds.

Review 62：Booking.com state that deluxe rooms are on the top 2 floors with sea view. We were checked in on the 3rd floor and were told that it was a deluxe room, which it was but there was NO sea view. I told this to the reception team, but they said they cannot promise a room on the top 2 floors. Restaurant staff not very welcoming. They were not rude, but there never seemed to be a smile.

Review 70：The internet did not work. Refrigerator did not work. The lobby staff was especially unfriendly and seemed annoyed by any question or any guest. There were never enough towels for the pool. Yet, guests were allowed to reserve pool chairs for the entire day by laying a towel on the chair and then leaving for hours. So the pool area was never full with people, but all chairs were taken. It is an idiotic idea that you can reserve something by laying a towel on it! Try reserving a table at a restaurant for a few hours by laying a towel on it! hahaha!

Review 82：The staff at the reception desk were extremely rude. When I needed to send a fax to our transfer company it was clear that he didn't really know how to use it and when I offered to help he shrugged his shoulders and told me it was broke and to go away. Another receptionist told us on the last day that we could not have a late checkout option as there were no rooms available, he didn't even look at the PC. We then checked online and found that there were rooms available, so we told him and he shouted at us saying "I've told you three times that checkout is at 12 so go away". Finally as we waited for our taxi to leave we saw another guy go to reception and state that he hadn't had any towels in his room for two days and he hadn't been able to wash properly. The receptionists then began saying that he should have brought is own towels and that it was a free service that they could stop if they wanted to. The man said "What, are you expecting me to go out and buy some?" to which the receptionist shrugged his shoulders. We didn't even have a "I hope you enjoyed your stay". Many people were very complementary about the hotel but many were complaining about the reception staff at breakfast and around the pool.

Review 83：The hotel was in a good location between Palma and Palmanova (Magaluf), only around 7km in each direction. The walk to the beach took only around 10 minutes which was a good thing as you had the choice of nice 'posh' meals by the harbour or more cost friendly options closer to the hotel. The hotel also looked like one of the nicer ones in the area before going towards the villas. Breakfast was a great selection and we chose to have spa access which was a great way to relax after the heat of the sun.

Review 84：The staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. The Salles hotel is a modern, luxury hotel close to a beautiful beach, and luxury yacht marina. Step through the front door and there village shops, restaurants, pharmacy, banks, and more.

Review 85：Some of the reception staff were most unhelpful & rude. The lifeguard was also rather rude. The towel system is ridiculous, towels were gone by 12pm. Hotel needs to monitor the sun bed situation more and enforce it, sun beds reserved from first thing in the morning with a towel and then not being claimed until 5pm meaning no sun beds left for others. Pool area needs to be tidied more, tables were never wiped down & a lot of broken or damaged sunbeds.

Review 87：A great hotel with fantastic facilities for a young family (the soft play zone was clean and well equipped and the spa treatments relaxing). The staff however, are what really 'made' this stay with their warm and friendly attention to us and our baby daughter.

Review 92：I booked this hotel as the rooms looked great on Booking.com only to discover that we were not in a refurbished room. Whilst our room was very clean and comfortable, I was looking forward to it being ultra modern and therefore it wasn't what I'd booked.

Review 93：Loved the location, it's a ten minute walk from the Marina and the beach but I like to walk! The staff were all very friendly, couldn't fault them. The breakfast was good with lots of different choices, the omelettes were fab.

I would not stay at the hotel again and if you do decide to stay I would recommend you pay for an upgrade and do NOT sleep on the ground floor rooms.

Review 97：Lovely clean hotel, rooms spotless, great facilities, nice pool area and well located in the centre of town and 5 minute walk from the beach. All in all really enjoyed our stay here, pool area was a little quiet in the day time could of done with music a little louder just to create a bit of atmosphere but not a major issue really........On the plus side they let me plug my I phone in to play some appropriate sunshine music :) Would definitely go back with the kids next time!

Maybe the breakfast hours should be until 11.00 or the staff could wait until 10.45, if is the case. The beach and the marina are not as near as expected.
