Reviews for Finca Rocabella
Review 1:Private pool. Direct wiew towards the mountains. spacious villa. If you are going to visit "El Caminito del Rey" (you should do that), it is only a 10 minutes drive from the southern entrance "Alora". Great area for hiking just behind the house.
Review 2:Booked the apartment which did not come up to expectations.came to Rocabella in 2001 and nothing has been done to the place which is a shame
Review 3:The area is lovely and excellent for walking. The walk though the Camoninito del Rey is stunning. The owners of Rocabella where very helpful
Review 4:This is not a good time of year to stay. We were promised a couple of heaters but got nothing. It was absolutely freezing! The restaurant had no chararcter at all & you could wait a good while before your presence was acknowledged. No one to check you out. We had to just leave without seeing any memeber of staff!
Review 5:The location was awe inspiring. The peace & quiet was beautiful.
Review 6:- The double bed was small and very soft (didn't sleep a wink). - The apartment has access to a pool, which is mini and was also pretty dirty. - The restaurant is closed on Mondays and doesn't open before 11am the other days (so no early breakfast) - The car journey there is rather hairy (which is not a fault of the Finca)
Review 7:+ Very tranquil location + Reasonably close to La Garganata del Churro + We had the small apartment over the restaurant, which had a lovely view over the valley + Good Wifi
Review 8:the drive from the main road was a little dicey at first but once you've done it a couple of times you get used to it.
Review 9:the villa was lovely, excellent location. Some, if not all of our party will book there again most likely during the summer.
Review 10:The beds were not so confortable as we expected based on the quality of the rest of the house
Review 11:Original building on a Tower shape. Kitchen very well equiped. Lovely sights.
Review 12:The property had amazing character overlooking the valley with its own private garden and pool. The Rocabella restaurant is a short walk away.
Review 13:The bed The kitchen- no work surface Not enough towels
Review 14:Privacy of setting Quiet Beautiful surroundings
Review 15:Stunning location
Review 16:Nothing!
Review 17:Secluded location yet not too far away from the local towns!
Review 18:Not the one we paid for
Review 19:Nice place
Review 20:Staff is very friendly and location is fantastic.
Review 21:Friendly staff, spacious, great location for El Chorro
Review 22:To less towels, no toilet paper, supermarket far away. To expensive for facilities offered.
Review 23:Nice area, restaurant beneath
Review 24:Some of the connecting roads into El Chorro and Alora are in a poor state.
Review 25:Spectacular views from Finca and accommodation across entire Valley. Location and surroundings pretty hard to beat. Own private pool with amazing views - right next to an Orange grove! Friendly and helpful owners, lots of advice on getting most from my stay. Owner Carlos, especially, very knowledgeable on history of region. Easy to arrange activities through the Finca, rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding etc. On site restaurant with terrace was a nice option for spending my evenings outside. Jacuzzi bathtub was a nice unexpected surprise. Easy 5 minute drive to local town to get supplies. All in, a superb holiday, great location, good value for money, highly recommended!
Review 26:the illustration which appears on the website is an artist's impression of what the location will be like once the pool has been installed-the apartment is situated above the restaurant which we had expected but there was no balcony or outside seating area unless you sat on the steps of the wooden landing outside the front door-the only pools on the site were those provided to villas in the complex-to sit outside you have to go down stairs on sit on the terrace which is part of the restaurant-we put up with this unsatisfactory situation for three days having already voiced our dissatisfaction to the owner-after a bad start things improved dramatically-the owner Carlos who was aware of our feelings approached us with an offer of alternative accommodation-he transferred us to a vacant villa with both pool and terrace where we spent the rest of our holiday-we were pleased by his somewhat tardy response to our complaint and we were every happy with the outcome -Carlos saw the illustration on your website agreed that is was misleading and declared his intention to contact you to remove the photo of the pool from the site offering the appartment
Review 27:we knew Rocabella some five years ago and from the illustration provided thought that despite the high cost it would meet our needs

Review 30:lovely views, pool. apartment really good value would definately return.
