Review 2：This is now our 4th year of staying here we found it excellent as a base. As the area is fab for the motorbikes :0) the town is just a short walk in for great food & drink & market days are excellent for food.

Review 3：The cabin was good value for money and had all the necessary facilities like bedrooms, shower, toilet, kitchen/diner and good deck etc but was very tiny and quite difficult to move around. For the price it was good though.

Review 4：Five minutes walk to Castellane village with restaurants and shops. Nice deck and outdoor seating. Great base for walking and sporting activities and exciting drives with great views. Friendly helpful staff

Review 7：No oven, only 2 hob rings to cook on. Very cramped accomodation for four even for two. If weather was not good not comfortable enough. But on the bright side good for a couple of nights stay.

Review 9：Check-in stated 4:00 but a note was left saying they'd be back at 5:30. Since it was a small French town, language was definitely a challenge, although we certainly tried our best to communicate (translator book and all) we couldn't understand a thing and the woman seemed annoyed. Later we found younger gentleman staff member who was able to help us in English. He was much friendlier to us. Also, we weren't aware of it prior but it was their final day open of the season, so they did not offer breakfast service, coffee or have the little pizza place open. Which was fine but it would've been nice to enjoy a coffee on our cute litte porch. Overall, Id still recommend for sure!

Review 10：We LOVED the little bungalow! It had two little bedrooms (although we only needed one) full kitchen with cookware, table, full bathroom which was bigger than you'd expect and my favorite was the porch with patio furniture. We could've stayed out there all night! Great location, 5 minute walk (at most) to the cute little town. The camp sight was beautiful and clean and felt safe. Clean sheets and towels were brought to us. One of my favorite stays of the trip for sure!

Review 11：We just love the location. You can leave in any direction & its beautiful. A couple of minutes walk into the village, with it's great markets held in the square & a good choice of places to eat & drink or the larger supermarket on the out skirts of the village.

Review 32：Only one BBQ facility, although it is a great place to meet new friends and mingle, I believe that in season it can get a bit busy to get your BBQ on the grill.

Review 33：It was my first time staying in a mobile home and to my surprise I found the experience great, the mobile home was clean, close to the local town square with shopping and dinning close by. The town square on Saturdays acts as a market, place selling great local produce. Had a great shopping spree there. Overall had great time and will try to return in May, when it is more in season for rafting and other activities.

Review 34：It was difficult to contact the reception by telephone and announce the estimate arival time, mainly because of the lack of signal.

Review 35：The independent house had everything you need even for a long stay. It was clean and decorated in bright colours.

Review 36：The location of the campsite was perfect within walking distance to the town center and the shopping and restaurants of Castellane. No need to take the car. We had a very perfectly clean and well equipped mobile home with nice porch and private seating outdoors. We even had our own kitchen with all emenities and could cook our meal for dinner and have a simple breakfast. If you don't want to cook there are many close by restaurants, bistros and bars. Just perfect!

Review 39：Camping Frédéric Mistral is perfect for a low budget trip. Conveniently located a short walk from Castellane's town square where you will find shops, services and restaurants. Be sure to catch the public market in the town square on Wed. and Sat. Castellane is located next to the Verdon Gorge (Grand Canyon de Verdun), rafting and hiking.

Review 40：5 euros per person for towels and linens is a bit much, however webrought our own towels and their was a blanket provided underneath sodidn't really affect us.

Review 41：The mobile home was great value for money, £40 per night which incomparison to other areas in the south of france was amazing. Beautifulsurrounding areas, amidst the gorges du verdon, 2 minute walk toCastellane centre where their was options for restaurants, shops, asupermarket etc. The mobile home itself was really nice, powerful warmshower, comfy beds, nice design, seating terrace outside and had akitchen so the option to cook was there. Had heaters provided in case itgot cold which was useful and the woman who greeted us was friendly.
