Camping La Ferme de Castellane sells fast on our site. This campsite is set on the river bank, located in the village of Castellane, within a 5-minute drive of the Verdon Gorge. Free WiFi is provided in public areas and the property has a table tennis table as well as a boules pitch.
A TV with cable channels and a private terrace feature in all the chalets and mobile homes, which have a simple décor with wooden furnishings. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Located at the edge of the forest, all accommodation types offer mountain views.
A microwave, fridge and hotplates are included in each kitchenette at Camping La Ferme de Castellane. A continental breakfast is prepared every morning and there are barbecue facilities.

Review 1：Close to town by car but a longish walk 3km.
Review 2：Close to town, helpful owners. Small cabin but it's a camp site and expect such in that type of setting. Had a great stay, would def recommend.
Review 3：A bit far from town, on very narrow road off the main road, blind. No fan in room: unbearable in afternoon. Noisy Monday evening "entertainment" until 2330 pm, terrible singing.

Review 9：The only downside (and not that big of a deal), was the driveway to get there. Very narrow in a few spots! It was tricky maneuvering if we met another car. Just something to be mindful of; wouldn't change our mind about staying there though.
Review 10：We are so glad we picked Camping La Ferme de Castellane. We were really comfortable in our little camper. The amenities were great! Nice kitchen, nice bathroom, great little dining/sitting area. We weren't there very long, and we were sad to leave; we could have stayed a few more days. We hope to come back to the region one day - we would stay again!

Review 13：Brand new, modern caravan, complete with outdoor furniture which we didn't get to use because of the rain! Nice small, quiet campsite, very well run, can order fresh breakfast goodies for the following morning. Excellent wifi and parking right beside the van.

Review 21：Very nice place, among mountains. Calm and beauty. We rented "roulette" - house on wheels, and I was surprised how good and comfortable it could be. The kitchen equipped with all staff, there are hot water and WC/shower as well. Nice and helpfull owner. Highly recommended place!
Review 22：We had a wonderful one night stay, but could have stayed longer. the playground was great for our small kids (2 and 4yrs old). We stayed in the wood caravan. The rooms were not large but were big enough for us. The location is great. It's a little out of the way, but the entire drive through the Gorges Verdon is beautiful. (we drove from Marsielle to Castellane in a day and made a few stops).

Reception was great, they sell cheap bottles of good wine from their fridge (and some beers too). The cottage we stayed in was beyond expectations for the price. Really good deal if you are on a budget.

Review 60：we forgot a towel when we checked out and when we tried to get it back in the evening, nobody knew something of it. the mobilhome was small, we can't imagine it with 4 people, but maybe with a family or if you're all day out.
Review 61：Friendly and very helpful staff, very beautiful, calm place in the nature. we came there by foot, so we walked all the way with heavy bagage. but is was worth it and when we needed to go shopping, they gave us a lift to the village! there you can really relax. the roulotte was cozy and definitly worth the money.

Review 69：Gerard the host was so nice! He even let us use the dryer when our clothes did not dry overnight. The croissant for breakfast was so fresh and flaky and delicious! The chalet we rented had so many beds, a kitchen, more than what we needed as a young couple. We would recommend to anyone!

The location is just a short car ride from Castellan - no bother at all. The site was very quiet and well maintained. Will certainly go back - even found a route for my running, and the hiking trail goes right thru the site.

Review 79：Narrow, long, road between the main road and camp site. Bedroom very small and my 6 foot tall partner's feet hung over the end of the bed as it was quite a small double. No kettle in kitchen-only a coffee maker.

Review 87：It was unseasonably cold, and the heater in the bedroom was sufficient to keep it warm, but the heater in the living room was not powerful enough to heat the room. We didn't use the second room with the single beds, but there was no heater in that room, at all.
