Review 1：The one drawback was contacting the owners to pay the night before. We had three telephone calls and waited around for 30 minutes. Moreover, while the flats are just the right distance from the Steinhuder Meer, it was absolutely packed nearer to the lakeside, and the bathing jetty was too far away even for adults. If you don't need breakfast, they subtract £4 pp.

Review 2：We chose this in order to catch a plane next morning (30 minutes to the airport at Langenhagen). We were 4 adults plus 2 small children (2 amd 4) for whom an airport hotel would have been impossible. Here, they could run around, and have icecream at the lakeside. The little kitchen diner meant we could have a picknick and eat up all our food. There was a balcony on the upper floor flat with garden furniture for the adults to have a post-children drink (supplied with honesty bar). The garden was large and well equipped, so it would have been a good place for a longer stay- even a large bbq. There is a massive playground at the local school as well.

Review 3：So called "free parking" could be a relative definition since there is a place only for several vehicles. No wi-fi in 2015 for a 100+ EUR room?

Review 9：The receptionist speaks nothing but German. The internet in the first hotel building worked only one of our 3 days of stay. There is no internet in the second hotel building. We ordered breakfast box for the last morning, confirmed, but did not make it. The only possible method of payment was cash, without receipt.

Review 10：The breakfast was ok. Clean rooms. Quiet and nice village. Plenty of nice restaurants around .
