Review 22：Hotel seems to be recognised locally as a hostel. Helpfulness of staff is mixed. One was absolutely delightful but another two were surly. No English is spoken. Decor of the hotel is dated and the breakfast area by the bar is very small .
Review 23：Location near the cathedral in the old city is excellent, though you could lose you life walking straight out of the hotel's front door on to a busy road. There is no path to separate you. Restaurant is good with an extensive menu.
Review 24：How this place got three stars is a mystery . It is a cafe with rooms ! Breakfast just toast-take it or leave it.Served in the bar near the toilet . Just one member of staff doing everything . I have travelled Spain for the last 15 years and this was the worst hotel for service and breakfast ever experienced .

Review 28：The hotel is positioned so that the balcony never gets the sun at anytime of day (in June). Nothing they can do about that but worth bearingin mind. We were there on a Sunday when there are no parkingrestrictions but parking could be an issue during the week.

Well-soundproofed - there was a lively wedding receptionin the restaurant the afternoon we arrived but it was all but inaudiblefrom the room. Ciudad Rodrigo itself is a delightful town with somelovely walks along the riverside.
