Review 1：The apartment was on the ground floor with a view of the side of the adjacent restaurant. There was no kettle so we walked into the shopping area and bought a kettle and 2 cups. I think possibly I could have read the advert better and chosen an upper floor apartment but it was my first experience of booking an apartment

Review 2：We were pleased to find this place close to a beach and had a pleasant walk with the dog. The apartment was small but clean and the staff were helpful

Review 3：Very limited and battered things in the kitchen. No wine glasses, odd cups, unmatched silverware. All sort of odds and ends. Also I requested a double bed and got singles AGAIN...

Review 5：The Accommodation came with microwave and fridge, but no plates or cutlery. We asked and were supplied with these, but when asking for cups - this was refused (even though there was a coffee machine in the room). The wifi internet was poor, although there was a computer room.

Review 16：The sea view from the balcony and it's just a 2 mins walk to the sea. Bus stop is just 5 mins walk which takes you to the city centre (30 mins. by bus). Castelldefels was a quite neighbourhood, peaceful to say the least. The staff were very accommodating. It was a great stay overall.

Review 19：Not really a problem but we used this apartment as we had an early flight to Barcelona airport 15 mins away. Bear in mind throughout the daytime, planes pass very low over the resort approx every 3 mins.

Review 20：Friendliness of staff. Beautiful views directly over the sea with spacious patio and ample furniture. We had a top floor apartment which I think was more private but it's a trek up a set of external stairs that could be a problem for some. We spent the afternoon and evening cycling up and down the promenade taking advantage of the free bikes included in the package.

Review 41：Wifi was unstable in our 2nd floor room. Apparently much better in basement. These days wifi should be considered a necessity and should be very strong and stable in all rooms. Airport shuttle would be great and would guarantee that we would use this place as a stopover hotel in future. Taxi cost 50 euro for 11 kms ...too much for us....So for 4.1 Euro each we took R2 North train from T2 and changed trains one stop later (El Prat de Llobregat) onto R2 South train headed for Vilanova...but we got of 4 stops later at Platja de Castelldefels..From here its a 3.3 km walk east along a beautiful beach promenade to Solifemar .

Review 42：Very clean well equipped apartment. Nice balcony overlooking the sandy beach. Beach itself was also very clean. Very nice bathroom, shower. 5 euros for breakfast very reasonable for decent breakfast...(ham, salami, cheese, bread, croissant, jams, coffee) Dinners at the on-site restaurant were very good and reasonable price as well with entertaining waiters who made up for their English deficiencies with their spirited humor.

Review 45：The staff were so helpful. We were able to borrow a parasol and towels for the beach which is rare. Just across from a beautiful quiet beach. Very Spanish. Few tourists. Free bikes were really useful although they are very basic.

Review 51：The staircase is outside, pretty steep and narrow (if you book studio; double). This especially bothers if you travel with small children. There is no supermarket in the vicinity, therefore a little bit lower rating.

Even the smallest details, they really do everything to make the stay pleasant. Excellent bed, good airco. Very good parking facility. Free sunshades for the beach.

Review 53：The hotel room for two was fine, the apartments for the kids were awful, very dated and very hot.We requested to be close to the kids but were not. Had we known, we would rather have booked 3 rooms next to each other for the 5 of us at the hotel for the same price. I am surprised as booking.com has informed us before if they can not accommodate all 5 of us either on the same floor or in one apartment? There was one A/C unit in the cramped lounge which didn't get to the back room. and was so noisy (think refrigerant wasn't working properly) they couldn't sleep

Review 54：Staff gave contradictory information on buses & trains. Do check yourself, if it's important! Great to have the bikes, but some maintenance would be recommended...many had practically no brakes, the chains kept coming off etc.

Review 59：Good price/quality ratio. A lovely and rather quiet hotel with a nice café, a bar and lots of plants. Across the road is the seaside. The fact that there were very few people at the beach made our stay at the seaside very relaxing. The rooms were cleaned every day. Everyone at the reception spoke English (more or less:)) We liked the young man wearing glasses the most, as he was very friendly and helpful. A trip to the center of Barcelona takes ~30 min, plus 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. If you need to make a special request, be sure to translate it to Spanish, because we got no answer to the English version.

Walk direction of church, turn left and go straight, use stairs go to over highway and there bus stop Autovia Castelldefels -"Centre Comercial" (if going back to then stop name Autovia Castelldefels - Major), walking distance 1km. Use bus L94 or L95 (you can use same ticket in train and bus).

Review 76：Great location front of beach. Nice sea view from apartments. Good restaurant. 1 transport zone, bus stop 2-3 blocks away line L95: 30 minutes ride to pl Espanya, 40 minutes to pl Catalunya. Good place if you want combine beach and city vacation. .

Review 77：There is no supermarket nearby. But if you are driving, you could find a very big Carrefour with a driving distance of about 10 minutes. It is the Carrefour el prat store.

Review 82：It was not easy and really expensive to get from the airport (El Prat T2) to the hotel by public transportation - 4,10 euros for train to Castelldefels and 2,15 euros for bus to the hotel. And it's just for some kilometers. The WiFi connection was bad in the room No 509 (actually, it was almost no connection).

Review 83：Great location in Castelldefels - 40 min to Barcelona by bus, 2 minutes on foot to the coast. Nice restaurant close to the hotel - good for breakfast and dinner. Quiet area and a nice neighborhood. All in all it was a really nice stay in the good hotel.

Review 84：Impossible to sleep as the people above us were moving furniture all night. Not sure why anyone would do that! Also when someone in the apartment above us flushed their toilet we could hear the toilet flushing and filling again. Kept us all awake and as we only stayed for one night to be near the airport for a flight the next day it was a waste of money.

Review 102：The hotel is right on a flight path to the airport and the noise from the planes approaching to land was not pleasant at all. Wi fi signal was very very poor. I could not even get an adequate signal despite having the router reset by the helpful staff. My double room was not prepared and had to settle for a twin room (as there were no cleaning staff in the late afternoon); although this was a minor inconvenience, it should not have happened in the first place. The receptionist was very apologetic and this will not deter me from staying here. The noise from the aeroplanes and the very poor wi fi signal would.

Review 103：The rooms were spacious and had a fridge as well as a microwave very adequate, ample parking on site, helpful receptionist, proximity to beach. All in all, very comfortable except...please see "what I didn't like"

Review 104：Access stairs to the third floor steep and narrow so difficult with large or heavy luggage and no lift. Would not be suitable for those with mobility problems or very unfit people. On site restaurant was shut and we were not notified that this would be the case. This proved inconvenient as other nearby options were poor.

Review 110：I had an amazing 4 night stay towards the end of October in the superb location, great value for money, friendly staff. The room I had in the annexe had a good enough beach/ sea view, but it did not have a kitchenette, as I was not expecting one it did not matter and the fridge and microwave are enough for the resourceful self caterer! No doubt these apartments have and deserve a premium price in high season but so close to BCN it was great value.

Review 124：The equipment seems pretty old and needs to be replaced, for example the microwave oven was well past it's prime. The single beds in the livingroom were ok, but we had asked for another double. WE also only had two towels and two wine glasses, so had to ask for more at the front desk. This should be worked out by the cleaning staff, four people, four towels!

The room had also fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Very good connection to Barcelona Centre : the bus L95 has the station about 2 streets away, every 20-25 min. Despite other comments, in our roam the Wi-Fi was very good.

Only regret was it was a long walk to shop and a longish bus/train/taxi ride to Barcelona for shopping/sightseeing or Stiges for a beautiful town.
