Reviews for Gästehaus Havergoh
Review 1:Nothing, I can't think of anything. For travellers unfamiliar to thetown it is worth keeping in mind that Horn and Bad-Meinberg are actuallytwo different little places connected by a single rail station Horn-BadMeinberg. The station has no db information counter or even a ticketmachine and the ticket machines on the Nord Westfalen trains are notalways reliable. There is a lone taxi driver at the station but he maybe out and about. So if you are arriving at the station, make sure youhave already arranged your pick up transport to your hotel and havebooked your return ticket. The bus 782 is reliable and the stop is justoutside the station but there are no bus services on Sunday. The hotelwas a little gem - I wish I could have stayed for longer......
Review 2:The hotel was absolutely lovely located in one of the most charmingplaces I've ever been. It was terrific value for money. The room wasimmaculate, charmingly furnished, and - this is going to sound weird -but had the most amazing fragrance. It was a pleasure to come back tothe room everyday after outdoor activities. The landlord and his familyare the staff going out of their way to help. He even gave me a lift inhis own car to the train station and refused to take money. Thebreakfast is simple but hearty with all locally sourced products. Thehotel has excellent wi-fi facilities at no extra cost. And best of allis the wonderful range of honey, preserves, jams, and marmalades on saleat the hotel made from produce grown in the landlord's own farm. Theytaste divine and cost next to nothing
