Reviews for Pyramisa Isis Hotel & Suites Luxor
Review 1:Security staff were difficult to deal with and the people outside the hotel just pressured you as soon as you stepped out of the hotel as staff turned a blind eye.
Review 2:The breakfast was okay the location good.
Review 3:The negatives were the horse & coach drivers constantly grazing across the road waiting just for you (.Never ever ever deal with them.), The hot water was tepid , & the bedrooms in the main building face West making the terraces almost unusable in the afternoon sun.
Review 4:Mid May 2015 , weather perfect. 500 bed clean , modern hotel with 2 pools right on the Nile & with multiple bars , good buffet breakfast , excellent & helpful service , & virtually no tourists , maybe a dozen or so at a time. Good clean rooms with fridge & WiFi & good bath.
Review 5:EVERYTHING there in Luxor is going down. It is only a question of time when most of the hotels will become closed due to the drastical deterioration of occupancy. Max. 10 % hotel occupancy.
Review 6:View on the Nile and location are fine.
Review 7:Only the mattress of the bed was not soft enough but still comfortable
Review 8:receptionist (Ramadan) Restaurant (Haggag) Bolman (Khaled) All were working to make my stay unforgotten and yes I want to come back as soon as possible
Review 9:- It says that they have a range of restaurants but these are all sadly closed due to the lack of tourism since the civil unrest. Because we had a baby who needed to sleep at particular times, we had to order from room service every night and the menu was very limited.
Review 10:- location and pool area - very helpful friendly staff
Review 11:It was very cold and water was not hot enough to take bath. Hotel will do good once business flows in...need to upgrade the facilities
Review 12:Room with big balcony facing Nile was amazing.
Review 13:The restaurant is not always enough dishes were washed
Review 14:Good service, helpful staff. The hotel's location is very good, with a beautiful view of the Nile, close to the city center. The territory is beautiful.
Review 15:I always feel frustrated with the very few clothes hangers. Also the type of hangers used in the Hotels. Hence, I now bring my own hangers. Would suggest that Management consider ( have your say) topic discussion with Staff and those people using your Hotel on a regular basis, to look at alternatives .
Review 16:I like the extremly friendly Staff who meet people's needs on a daily basis with a welcoming smile. I always feel safe in the Hotel environment. Good variety of food at all mealtimes, in addition would go back tomorrow just to order a sandwich via room service. It was delicious .
Review 17:Far away from city center and railway station, can't walk there; Few selection for breakfast; no free wifi in the room; swimming pool is not clean enough. Elevator broke down. No safe box in the room.
Review 18:Large room and balcony, very few guests, Quiet, near the Nile river, low price. Friendly staff. There's one KFC nearby.
Review 19:Old furniture, slow service, poor selection of food & drinks, no safety box, empty mini-bar, smelly sheets and pillows.
Review 20:Security, location, Moustafa's smile and enthusiasm, decent pool, big and clean and nice view, proximity to all locations (East bank & West bank)
Review 21:I was expecting bottle of water to be placed in the room since the hotel 5*, no sleepers in the room.
Review 22:Frindly staff, such as Mr. Ramadan at the reception & Mr. Ubaid at the bell desk
Review 23:Due to very limited number of visitors most of the facilities are closed and dusty
Review 24:Good location and friendly staff
Review 25:Food: Falafel wasn't good.

Review 47:Wonderful amazing hotel Astonishing views Calm relaxing environment
Review 48:The hotel was very well located and attentive to all our needs. The cafe restaurant had probably the best seats in town for an evening Nile View. I was most impressed with the tour contact, Abdullah. He is fantastic and professional. He facilitated everything with charm and at a good price.
Review 49:The rooms are quite dated.
Review 50:The pool was a lovely place to relax and get over the heat of Egypt. Very Central and easy to get around. On the River Nile.
Review 51:The Reception staff try various tricks to get more money out of you. I was told my internet booking had undercharged me for the real price for the room, but i insisted on paying the internet proce, as i had evidence via my iPad email. After only 1 night i had a mystery mini bar bill, and a mystery pool alcoholic drinks bar bill......... a more nervous customer would have ended up paying for these mysterious extras!!!!
Review 52:Beautiful hotel, right next to the River Nile and close to Luxor Temple
Review 53:Housekeeping staff looks for tips. Water pressure in shower is very low.
Review 54:Nice Breakfast.. Friendly staff, provided an early checkin. Large hotel, with two pools. Stay in the superior nile facing rooms. Rooms are clean, and carpetted. Location of the hotel is very convenient.
Review 55:The saggy beds & pillows were as hard as a rock. Do not useguide/drivers recommended by reception as I had a very bad experience &trusted these people because they were recommended by reception. Thereis lots for breakfast but it is very ordinary. The tv in the room wasvery very old like the furnishings but they did update the tv with adigital set the next day. This is not 5* & the beds were 1* standard.
Review 56:The lobby & pool areas are beautiful. Housekeeping staff helpful.
Review 57:The rooms are quite dated. The Hairdryer in my room blew up ad started shotting red sparks out at me.
Review 58:The pool was a lovely place to relax and get over the heat of Egypt. The breakfast buffet was lovely also. Very Central and easy to get around. On the River Nile.
Review 59:I was asked to pay the room with USD, although the price appeared on booking website in EGP! although they took the equivilent amount, this was a positive point.
Review 60:Nice hotel, In the heart of the city, I don't think that this hotel is 5 star category, but I can call it typically good 4 star hotel, with excellent value for money, and magnificent view!! Also I arrived four hours before check-in time, and I took my room key immediately, without any extra-fees.
Review 61:Put some tea bags/coffee in the room!
Review 62:Great location. Right next to the Nile. Even getting the ferry to west bank was fun. Great room over the swimming pool and Nile in the background. Staff very attentive and a relaxing weekend between all the wonderful sites around Luxor. Love Egypt me.
Review 63:It is difficult to seperate complaints from didn't likes - We didn;t like the fact that some of the lifts were not working and found some of the Reception staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than attend to guests.
Review 64:The hotel well well situated for seeing the sights of Luxor, far enough out of the town without being too far away. Facilities were adequate for us as a 3 generation family. The breakfast buffet was excellent to set you up for a day sightseeing.
Review 65:Location not far from city centre, near the river ! Looking to the west bank and the sunset. Just outside the hotel there are some shops and restaurants.
Review 66:Air conditioning not working well, mosquito in the room even though was very cheerfully told 'no mosquitoes' by staff member, who eventually arrived with spray killer when requested! Accounting not up to scratch - no proper invoice offered on leaving, but we think the hotel is better geared to groups than individual families.
Review 67:Excellent location, food pretty good in the buffets, comfortable enough and including wifi. Good value for money and generally friendly.
Review 68:Not a 5 star hotel. Staff not overly friendly. Small, old bathrooms withno ventilation.
Review 69:Good location, good price, quiet and clean. Breakfast was great.
Review 70:The breakfast was very bad, low in variety, no fresh food produced& the juices were made from powder !! the same applied on dinner buffet
Review 71:Excellent location indeed, amazing view from the room, the pools & the gardens look great, also the hotel is near to Luxor temple & down town
Review 72:The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was a let down the food was verybland for the price of it.
