Review 1：The hotel facilities are basic and you have to book all meals inc breakfast ahead.

Review 2：The location is very convenient and great if you just want a small appartment style room.

Review 3：It was like a low-quality housing estate, which claimed to be in Callian but in fact you had to drive to get there; there was nowhere to park one's car in the residence. No meal, no breakfast.

Review 5：Looked this hotel up on booking.com, ammenities looked interesting. Had trouble finding the hotel as it is listing by a route number and not an address my navigation system recognized, a big mistake. I called the hotel to say I was on my way. The girl only spoke in French although the advertisement says they are multilingual. I got there at 8:02 PM. The receptionist would not open the front door. She screamed at who appeared to be her manager. The manager came out and spoke to us but appeared to be stunned when told that we called by phone. I have never witnessed such juvenile behavior by hotel staff anywhere in the world. We eventually got our room, not the room we ordered but one double bed vice two twins. Was told by the night manager we could talk to the desk clerk the next day, too little too late. Refusing to speak to us on the phone, locking us out, not opening the door, screaming like a two year old instead of behaving like a courteous service provider…… I would never spend my money here again ever. Review 6：Check in closes at 8pm. Arrived at 8.02pm - Just got keys. Should be open later. Went to Restaurant to be told full. Should not be a reservation only system. In the UK they would of given us a table.. Check in times need adjusting. Restaurant should be open to all visitors regardless of reservation for food. If you arrive late chance of not getting key. Not being able to eat.. Also asked if we could stay until early afternoon in booking form.. We arrived at 8pm Should be given extra time due to our requests which were included in booking forms. Should be more flexible..

Review 8：The Restaurant was terrible and the food not good. The Restaurant Staff were great. The House wine was terrible - No choice. Room not properly cleaned to my standard but OK. One pillow each not enough. Asked for another one. The Kitchenette was poorly equipped and the cleaners were surprised that so many items were missing. They provided what we needed when asked. It would be good if you had a child free area around the swimming pool. Also if you provided sun lounger cushions - the sun loungers are very uncomfortable. It would be great if you provided pool towels. The Hideous Mosquitoes were not your fault but it would be good to provide anti-mosquito advice and equipment for your guests.

Review 9：Loved the Spar / treatments / spar staff - excellent! Loved the Staff we met at the hotel generally - very professional. The room was OK and adequate. Air Con great. Balcony great (but not very private). The cleaning equipment provided was excellent though we were not expecting to clean our room. Great that you are recycling everything and provide easy ways for guests to do so.

Review 10：The worst every experience of the Hotel in my entire life. If you are expecting fairly good 'standard' service, this is not the place. Don't expect anything like a 4star hotel. (I am a frequent traveler and have experience from non-rated to a 7star hotels) - Far from a 4star, not even close to be a 1star hotel ! - No lights outside the room. Everyday had to walk in the dark (pitch-dark) for ca.3 mins, from the car-park to the room. After falling down and injuring myself on night 1, I realized that there were stairs in that dark area! Thank fully it was me and not my Diabetic mum,who was with me. I told the reception the day after, but no action, seem that they didn't even know which area of the Hotel I was talking about. - No restaurant / Bakery service as it describes. You have to practically reserve everything in one day advance, yes, including one croissant or a baguette for the breakfast next day. We went to a 5star hotel Terra Golf, couple of km away from this hotel for the dinner and they served food in their restaurant without any reservation with full hospitality, even when we did not stay there. - A/C was set in the Winter mode in June and therefore omitting the hot and smelly air. They knew this fact when we complained but did not changed it to the Summer mode, while temp.was around 35 degree everyday. - We came back at 23.00 at night passing that horrific common area with no lights and saw that the towel lady who must have came to change the towels during the day, left the door open behind and the lights were on...(Luckily nothing was stolen but we were really freaked out) - Not worthy even for free. I would rather prefer a place which feels more safe, you don't have to roam with a torch and worries of the hotel services closing the door behind.

Review 23：Beds and pillows are hard and uncomfortable. Many of the staff don't speak English. Only cabled internet, no wifi. Nearby town is too far away to walk for most people, car is neccesary. Local French people go there for swimming and push the guests out of the pool area. Steep terrain and many stairs make it difficult if you're disabled.

Review 56：Access from expressway is not easy and traffic can be really bad getting into Callian. Staff could not speak good english and were not well informed about various facilities. Extra charges for using indoor swimming pool, sauana, steam bath (12 euros per person) , gym (5 euros for 2 hours) i think is very unreasonable. After paying for 4 star acco I would expect these to be included in the price. Change of towels should be included in the price for stays over 3 nights. Access to wifi in the villa was a nightmare. Apple gadets could not connect to wifi at all, other gadgets that did connect suffered from very poor connectivity. Reception was not open throughout the day and the intercom number had no english menu. The garage in the villa was so narrow and the access poor that we could not park our vehicle indoors.
