Review 1：The owner is such a nice person. Other than this, it was a piece of experience to be a guest in such of a historical place. Close to every spot in this amazing little town.
Review 2：Had to call if arriving after 4PM. I tried many times but only got an answering machine with a short message "call later". This made us worry whether we would actually be able to get in at 8PM or be charged for not turning up if we had to change to another place. It turned out somebody was waiting for us when we arrived, but the worry could so easily have been avoided! Breakfast was a bit too skimpy for the price. No yoghurt, no egg. In our room, bathroom ventilation not working and moldy smell (I turned the heater higher as they clearly should take care of this lovely old building). Comfort and lighting could be a bit better. There was no soap in the shared bathroom that our kids used (only alco-gel). No (plastic) glasses or other bathroom amenities except for soap in ours.
Review 3：Location perfect next to Ribe Cathedral. Interesting historic building with "cell" rooms. Atmosphere is fine and we had cosy rooms under the roof.

Review 6：Very good location, in the mindst of the town. Quite an experience to sleep in a town that is so tranquil at night, we woke up because of the birds. The rooms are very, very small, there is nearly no place to put your luggage in and the bed (we were 2 persons) is only 1,20 m. The facilities have to be shared and are not so new and not so clean. For one night it is an interesting experience to sleep in a former prison, but I would not recommend it for a longer stay in Ribe. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast is good and one can sit in a lovely garden. The car can be parked nearby.
Review 7：the breakfast room is so small, that one has to make reservations for a certain time slot. Since other people were late, there was no room for us and we sat outside. Sitting there was okay because of nice wheather, but getting to the buffet table was rather difficult through a crowded breakfast room, where people felt uncomfortable with us opening the terrace door and passing very close to their tables.

Review 9：The matras was showing various staines, the sink was not clean and the cel should be vacuumed more often. The shares shower curtain was deep yellow on the bottom. The owner was running a clothes shop in the same building and did not have much time for us

That's it. - Checkin was confusing and "tourist english" seemed to be difficult - Room was charged in advance

Review 28：The price was too much for the facilities despite the freakish nature ofthe hotel.the owner/receptionist was also running a clothes shop and was distracted when we arrived. the breakfast was very basic and not what we had been used too, particularly for the high cost of the room. She also added on extra cost for using a visa card. We were not impressed. You would have to be a bit eccentric to stay there and put up with the poor facilities.

Review 31：The location was excellent, on the main square of Ribe on front if the cathedral. Yhe hostel in inside a old jail, the rooms are very small and most of them with the bath in commnbut they are confortble and clean. Breakfast with few things but good.
