Reviews for La Colina Bed&Breakfast

Review 1:The location was further from the beach than described. The breakfast was good but each item was cooked individually, for example, a plate of sausages was placed on the counter and then five minutes later some egg would appear, by which time the sausages would be gone!

Review 2:Very peaceful, great pool, kind hosts

Review 3:The owners were incredibly friendly and were helpful with anying we needed. The b&b was very clean, breakfast was great, and its a short 5-10 minute walk downhilll to the center of townand beaches.

Review 4:First there's no WiFi range in the room I was. Also no AC, which for a Spanish summer hotel kind of is required. There was a lot of noise from near by clubs at night, but I think you get this in most of the city as well.

Review 5:It's a very good looking place, clean, the breakfast was good too.

Review 6:The room wasn't spacious, just a double bed in the room (but the toilet + shower was big enough). Just outside our window there was a playground so if there are kids around this might wake you up early in the morning.

Review 7:Friendly owners & staff. Always willing to answer questions. The room was super clean. Easy access to the pool but also walking distance from most beaches, a bit on a hill though so elder people should better use the car. Parking is not a problem as it is allowed to park just outside. Rich breakfast. Quiet at night as it is locate at a quiet area. We would highly recommend, both the La Colina and especially Calella Palafrugel. Must visit.

Review 8:Room was very small with no AC. Inn was fortress like and inconvenient

Review 9:Owners were very pleasant and accommodating

Review 10:A little bit hard to find. There is not very visible singnage. The room was quite small.

Review 11:Feels like being quest in someones home. Peaceful place. Friedly people. Breakfast was positive suprise.

Review 12:To say something, the beds COULD be confier... But we didn't wake up with a bad back or anything. It's just the only thing that comes to my mind.

Review 13:The family who runs the place is wonderful. They couldn't do more for you, just helping you out in every possible way. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, hearty. Beautiful and peaceful place to stay at, close to places of interest. Would definitely come back!

Review 14:The family who run the hotel were really welcoming and helpful, which made our stay so much easier. The salt water pool was a great way to start the day, and the breakfast was very generous.

Review 15:Bathroom smelt. Bit lacking in atmosphere. Breakfast was ok. House was like visiting your parents after long time away from home. Not our favourite.

Review 16:Plenty parking. Had private terrace. Used garden to sit in eve. Pool available.

Review 17:The ad said there were rooms with two beds available, I booked for my friend and I and when we arrived we were told there was only one room with a big bed. (As I was traveling with an older male FRIEND this was a little awkward.) To get another bed in the room we had to pay a supplement which I don't think was fair since the ad said there were two beds available. It was an easy fix that shouldn't have cost extra money. We ended up not getting the bed cause it was too expensive. The place is very nice but, in the heat, pretty far from the city center. We ended up not going back to the city center cause it was a bit too far.

Review 18:The host was very nice, the pool was amazing, food was good, room was nice.

Review 19:Great garden setting , lovely pool area , short walk to town and beach and Botanic gardens. The family are very helpful advising on places of interest and can't do enough for you. Had good homecooked food and selection of wines and beverages.

Review 20:The hosts made everything very nice...nice room, spotlessly clean, attractive house and yard, great advice about what to see and helpfulride to the bus station when it was time to leave for only 2 euros perperson. This town is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, andthis is a great way to stay with a family and enjoy all the area has tooffer. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Thank you!!

Review 21:There was no soap in the bathroom, but not too much of a problem

Review 22:We had such a lovely, peaceful and relaxing week here. Jofre, Gabi and Mercedes are a lovely family and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until the end of the hol. Breakfasts were good (I'd recommend having the traditional Catalan tomato on your toast!) and the evening menu is really great value for money compared to the restaurants on the beach front. It was great that La Colina could also organise transport, that was really helpful for us as we didn't hire a car. Rooms were great, and the salt water pool was really lovely to swim in or sit by - it was always really quiet too. Jofre took us out on his boat one day which was excellent - we got to see all of the beautiful coast up to El Golfet and the 'ant islands'. Stopping the boat to jump into the sea was amazing - I'd highly recommend taking an excursion if you can. Location is perfect - short walk to most places of interest. The B&B is on a hill but we didn't find that an issue

Review 23:Very friendly welcome, peaceful location, ideal for country walks and near the botanic gardens with only a short distance on foot to the town centre, beaches and restaurants.

Review 24:Hard to find. Eccentric. Poor location. Not all staff welcoming.

Review 25:Breakfast.

Review 26:Room was too warm...air con or a fan???

Review 27:Great family run business, they were all very helpful and kind

Review 28:Cold breakfast.

Review 29:Friendly staff, clean room, family environment.

Review 30:Nothing was bad.

Review 31:We had a great stay. Everything was perfect. I really recommend to go to this wonderful house. We got everything we needed.

Review 32:Warm, very hospitable hosts who gave us help with transport. Nice private pool. Good quality breakfasts and extra meals when requested.
