Review 1：Uncomfortable beds (best for children and light weight people). Cushions need to be replaced with new ones (a sack of lumps). Cold and dampen bathroom with filthy shower.

Review 2：Perfect location 5 min walk from down town. Good equipped apartment.

Review 3：Stairs in apartment was very steep up to upper bedrooms. Would not be suitable for young kids. The cost of bedding and towel hire was expensive. Had to hire as coming from overseas. Road side apt get noisey in the morning with traffic.

Review 7：The beds had no sheets or towels and had to be us to carry and make the beds, and to crown still we had to pay an EXTRA AMOUNT in addition to the clothes of the room. The breakfast also had to get a box and also very expensive.The room was little heated. It was the worst advice that until now had the BOOKING

Review 9：Even though Ribe Byferie is called a resort, it feels like a group of family homes. The proximity to the centre of Ribe is great, staff are friendly and children can easily be left alone in the area, as eveyone is asked to park cars in the parking lot.

Review 11：Closeness to Ribe - easy walking distance. Clean and efficient set up - with all sorts of amenities on site. Welcoming and really helpful staff, and apartment really well equipped.

Review 12：On a warm day the attic bedroom got baking hot and the window could only be opened about an inch, You really couldn't sleep there; also quite noisy, you are close together with neighbours, and there was noise on the playground until very late. The attic bedroom is open to the sitting room, so you couldn't even watch TV without disturbing the kids upstairs. OK for one night, but not for an entire holiday.

Review 14：It was not clear when we booked that basic amenities like linens, paper goods, etc. would not be provided or that we had to be the cleaners ourselves; reception was closed with no staff available after 6 PM; somewhat indifferent staff; no microwave in the kitchen; early checkout time; cancellation timeframe was ridiculously long (14 days in advance) so we would not do that again -- should be maximum 3 days prior

Review 15：Lots of fun activities on the grounds for children, both indoors and outdoors (playroom, playground, etc.); lots of room; easy access to Ribe city and Ribe Viking Center; facilities were modern and clean; tourist information and rebates on local activities; availability of bike rental; free wifi that worked smoothly; is a great place for families

Review 16：Linen costs, settee and chairs not comfortable. Costs, expensive compared to other hotels in Denmark. Given the costs having to make beds and strip at end of Hols and clean through seemed excessive. We were on ground floor with a patio but very much overlooked by downstairs appartment opposite and also from balconys above.

Review 17：Ribe very pretty place, location good and short walk into town. Lots of room and kitchen equipment good. Good place for families with young children.

Review 18：Wifi is horrible -- quality is same as dial-up modem in 1995. The drapes in the bedroom are way too light -- be sure to pack blankets or whatever to cover them up, or your children will be awake very early. Breakfast has to be ordered every day (which we misunderstood), and is not really worth the money. Not that it's bad, but it's mediocre and limited at best.

Review 19：Location is perfect to visit Ribe. The holiday park itself has a lot of facilities, perfect for children and parents. Rooms are very clean and spacious enough.

Review 21：The proximity to the town centre and the general ambience of the Byferie. Sadly with the DFDS ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg stopping in September will be unable to visit again. This was our third stay.

Review 32：The noise from other guests. As a mature couple we were put in a chalet opposite the playground and under a group of contract workers. The 4 contractors came back very drunk at 5am, had no keys and tried to climb up our window frame to get to their open window. Not a good experience. We complained when we checked out, but didn't get much response. Were told there is no such thing as a quiet room on site!

Review 33：Within easy walking distance to town centre. Extremely clean and lots of facilities for families. We only stayed 1 night en route to the ferry back to England.

Review 35：I liked pretty much everything about Ribe Byferie. Nice well-designed accommodation; lovely communal facilities - playground, barbecue, games room... So close to the lovely town and the train station. Excellent staff. I suppose if it had a little cafe it would be just about perfect... but you can't have everything!

Review 36：Curtains in lounge are too light (no black-out blinds) - so the kids will wake up very early! Cost of renting linens was quite high.

Review 38：The ladder to the upper bedroom was a bit steep for us. It would have been useful to know that this was the 2nd bedroom. We would have preferred two bedrooms at the same level as the remainder of the apartment.

Review 39：The grounds and general appearance of the place was excellent - it is clearly well maintained. The fact that there were some dishwasher tablets and some tea and coffee left for us was also much appreciated.

Review 41：Everything was very neat and clean and the apartment functional. We had a downstairs "flat" which had a courtyard to sit/ eat out ( weather permitting). The place wasn't full so we didn't have many neighbours - it could be noisy if it,s full. We ordered breakfast, which you have to go to reception to collect. It was minimal and DIY ( make your own coffee etc) with rolls, jam and yoghurt- not really good value. No fuss check in you get your key and a brochure. No other staff to help if things go wrong out of hours.

Review 42：Hotel was unable to contact me about my late arrival which I highlighted in my booking. Because of this, when I arrived very late to Ribe - I rang the reception number and it said reception was closed. Because this hotel is on the outskirts of town, I did not travel out there. All other hotels in Ribe were booked and so at 1.00am I had to get a taxi to Esjberg 30minutes away and pay for accommodation in another hotel. When I arrived at Byferie the next morning the staff said they were not given my contact details by booking.com so they could not tell me that my room key was left in my un-locked room. This meant my huge expense of the night - taxi plus accommodation in another town was avoidable.

Review 44：This is a comment for information only; if travelling for an extended stay be prepared to provide all household necessities eg garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper etc. What is provided is adequate for a 2 to 3 day stay.

Review 45：Very roomy apartment, perfect for our needs. The facility offers a vast range of activities for families and is in easy walking distance of the old town of Ribe and beaches and countryside. Friendly staff.

Review 46：The Internet was not able in all the rooms and sometimes it'sfailure. Tv channels preferly to be in Danish instead of German, but itwill be great more in English. And more tv channels!!

Review 47：The facilities. All the concept is really nice and most for that peoplethat because of job needs to be a long time in a hotel, this is aperfect choice (expats wives also).

Review 48：Bathroom wasn't cleaned, toilet had been used and not flushed. Not a good first impression. We have travelled around Europe for twelve weeks in the past two years and have stayed at many apartments. This is the only one where we have had to pay extra for linen and towels and actually make up our own beds, strip them the next morning and return to reception. It is also the only place where we had to walk 100m to collect our very mediocre breakfast and bring it back to our room. Also, we were expected to clean up the unit, wash up, vacuum and dump the rubbish before we left. We found this incredible for a one night stay. The price we eventually paid was more than we paid in Central Copenhagen and Oslo.

Review 49：Location and roomy apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Review 50：On arrival there were no staff to greet us and we had to phone anemergency contact number left on the door to find out what to do. Roomsare very basic and simple things such as bed sheets are not supplied inthe room price and no indication as given that this would be the case.The rooms advertised also suggest that all properties have two floors,this is also not the case. With no staff to assist there was no way tochange this until the following morning and being that we were onlystaying for one night this was of no help to us. From this I would notrecommend this hotel to others.

Review 51：It was a very pleasant environment. Easy access to Ribe Center (walking). It looked a good place for children. Liked it was a carfree holiday place.

Review 52：Second time we have stayed here. Ideally suited to explore the local area. 10 - 15 minute walk into the centre of Ribe. Very family friendly with good facilities for Children. Superbly laid out and equiped Barbecue area where Charcol and Tools are provided for you. We would certainly recommed this establishment.

Great playground for the kids. Secure parking;easy to navigate to.Free passes to two different swimming opportunities - we went to the larger and further one, thirty minutes north on our way out; it would have been worth the drive even for an afternoon jaunt. Can buy Lego tickets in the office, though there's no savings - Lego is only forty minutes away driving - an easy day trip back and forth.

Review 55：We were put next to the children playground that was very noisy in the morning and also at nighttime. With added daylight hours it went on till 10 PM. Also we asked for creamer in office for our coffee and had to pay for it, when it says coffee is free in AM. Coffee free but creamer not? And renting sheets and towels for the price of 30 K. And you had to return the bedding to the office and clean your apartment of further charges.
