Reviews for Apartamentos San Marsial

Review 1:We liked very much Marissa, who was willing to give us best information, and the location waz very good to go out for hiking, the room was big

Review 2:Helpfulness.

Review 3:Friendly, helpful owners

Review 4:The staff was very friendly and helpful, alhough none could speak English.

Review 5:Our 1-bedroom apartment was very comfortable. The kitchenette made it easy to eat some meals in our schedule, disturbed by long hours of hiking A great location for hiking.

Review 6:Although the wood and bare walls are pretty, noise travels easily, people shutting their doors across the corridor might wake you. Earplugs solve this. The rooms at the back have balconies.

Review 7:spacious clean apartment with two separate rooms and a good size bathroom. Having a kitchenette meant we could make meals easily, bread shop only 30m away, supermarket 100m. This is important as it is easy to tire of the average food served up in Benasque restuarants!

Review 8:Sound-proofing could be better, however all the other clients during ourstay were reasonably quiet and considerate, hence it wasnt an issuereally. We had the apartment designed for up to four people: be awarethough that there were only two standard beds, the other two guestswould have to sleep on a folding sofa-bed in the kitchen. Perfect fortwo adults (+/- two smaller kids), four adults would probably feel a bitclaustrophobic.

Review 9:Great small familly run hotel built in the traditional style, wellfurnished, clean; great location (right at the edge of benasque'shistoric center, yet with sufficient parking spaces in the vicinity).Benasque itself as well as the valley are a perfect place to visit.Staff: fantastic! The nice lady who was at the reception pretty much every night was fabulous: apparently a keen walker she could provide insider info on all the tracks in the region (including ones not shown on our map), printing off maps and info from her computer, pointing us to interesting sites, events and telling us all sorts of interesting facts about the life in Spain. Probably the best receptionist we've ever met and a tourist attraction in her own right (we didnt get her name, only know she's originally from Asturias).

Review 10:Limited English spoken, apartment walls had poor sound insulation so you could hear next doors goings on. Shower poor quality, lack of shaving light in bathroom.

Review 11:Good location, easy to find, good parking, clean, tidy, good price, easy going owners.

Review 12:Bathroom fittings require attention

Review 13:convenient locatiion for mountain walking. Room had a large balcony

Review 14:No desk in the room. There is some strange perfume. The decoration in the corridor looks a little bit strange, too.

Review 15:The bed is comfortable.

Review 16:Most shops/restaurents in Benasque was closed (late-May)

Review 17:Old family-run hotel

Review 18:excellent location for the twon of benasque and also a great base for the mountains. Staff very helpful and family own accomodation.
