Review 1：The bed wasn't a big 2 persons, but 2 1-person beds put together.
Review 2：The location; just next to one of the volcanos and close to the city center. Great view from the window. Dog friendly. Very friendly staff.
Review 3：The staff are very friendly, breakfast was great and when we came back from walking around volcanoes all day we were able to get a cup of tea from the bar and drink it outside in the garden just across the road. The room had a stunning view.
Review 4：I chose this hostal as it’s close to the centre and it looked as if parking was going to be easy. At least I got both of those things sort of right !! It’s not in the most salubrious of areas but, to me, a lot of Olot is a bit like that. On arrival I checked into my single room on the first floor and was rather disappointed. Everything worked OK but compared with others at this price, I’ve had better. I had forgotten to get the wifi code so I went downstairs to be told that “this room doesn’t have wifi”. The receptionist said I could move to another room which did have wifi (a double at the front on the second floor) at no extra charge. I took the key and carried my stuff upstairs only to find that the room hadn’t been cleaned. I went back to the original room, took the other key back to the receptionist and said I would stay where I was. They had wifi in the bar so I would use that. I went back upstairs and couldn’t get the aircon to work. I went back to the reception who said she had to switch it back on down there....which she did. I also enquired as to the opening time of the restaurant only to be told that it was closed that night. Not a great start to my stopover in Olot. It was Festa del Barri del Carme so I walked into town, watched a rather strange display on a small forklift truck, had a lovely meal and listened to the band in Plaça del Carmen before heading back up the hill to the hostal. The last straw was that, every 15 – 20 minutes all through the night, a loud buzz lasting a couple of seconds, came from somewhere around the entrance door. It wasn’t the aircon so I guess it was a faulty fire alarm. I was rather tired when I eventually crawled out of bed. There was nobody downstairs to complain to when I was leaving so I got in my car and drove into town for breakfast.

Review 28：We enjoyed the very generous breakfast with interesting local options. Some of the rooms on the street side had a view and the road was quite. The rooms were not large but comfortable and modern. There was CNN on the TV. The staff spoke a reasonable amount of English. The town is so close and we enjoyed walking around the narrow streets very much. it has a lot going for it.
Review 29：The city itself is not overly exciting. However, since we only went there to see the surrounding natural park, this was not a problem.
Review 30：We only stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. There are several menus to choose from, and there is a waiter. For our purpose the location was good. We wanted to see the nearby volcanoes, and it was possible to walk there (45 min walk).
