Reviews for Apartamentos Costa Brava
Review 1:Being on the ground floor meant that we had no privacy in the living room or the bedroom having to keep the curtains drawn a lot of the time . The noise was quite bad from the apartment above us and they got up early each morning, moving furniture and talking loudly . The bedding was poor quality . No dishwasher .
Review 2:We were able to walk down to the little beach where the restaurants and shops are which was lovely.
Review 3:We had already left home when an email arrived telling us the reception office was in another village, Llaffranch. This information is not on any website connected with Costa Brava Apartments, Calella. So, without keys and arriving in the small hours, we had to spend a night in a hired car – with a five-year-old – and do a lot of detective work the next day to gain entry. Not fun.
Review 4:Location. Pool.
Review 5:The uncertainty of bedding and towels - took our own and found some very musty smelling blankets in the cupboard. Wouldn't be good for children to sleep under. If the weather is hot there is no air conditioning and some of the patio doors didn't lock so you would need to sleep with the shutters down. There are a lot of cats on the complex with expected downside.
Review 6:The space and the pool were great. We stayed late in the season so it was very quiet. It was a secure location and well appointed with tables and chairs. First time I had ever slept in a double bed in a Spanish apartment. Warm showers pressure Ok. Need a car for stocking up from supermarket in big fridge. Didn't use the gas hob because we didn't find the gas bottle instructions 'til the last day so used microwave instead.Very good value in a lovely location for a short walk to the picturesque beach.
Review 7:For the price a rip off Did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay tookmoney from card and gave me the bill Had to change rooms as noisey thenwhen moved there was the noise from generators
Review 8:Nothing the price of almost 600e included room only
Review 9:Lovely location
Review 10:The staff who dealt with the apartments. Our flight arrived midday and we arrived at the apartments at 1 o'clock. We were not informed that you needed to go to an office in Le Franc, a good 15 mins walk away to collect keys and pay very high prices for bedding. We arrived by taxi, and another visitor kindly offered to watch our bags while we collected the keys, otherwise we would have had to take all bags with 3 very hungry tired children, to Le Franc.
Review 11:The location and settings were lovely. The apartment itself was pleasant. We love Calella and have been several times before. We would recommend Calella, and the apartments but not the agency that Booking.com use to let them.
Review 12:Price of cleaning very expensive.
Review 13:Quiet aerea out of season. Good price qualite.
