We had a short stay but it would be ideal for a longer stay with spacious rooms, kitchen, a pool and excellent breakfast spread. We would definitely return some day to use as a base for exploring Costa Brava.

Pool was great a cross between a large jacuzzi and a small waterfall. Breakfast LOVELY. Chief waiter should be working in the Ritz he was that good. Will definitely go again.

Review 25：the hotel is dated but good quality is still evident so i'm not sure if it would be right to say it needs a refurbishment . we thought the hotel felt a bit like a motel - nothing amiss but a bit clinical . our biggest gripe was the noise from the swimming pool filter . even though the pool area is screened the noise level took away the chance of a quiet read on the balcony . however, thanks to good quality patio doors, it didn't interfere with getting a good nights sleep . overall a good hotel and an enjoyable stay .

Review 26：this was our fourth stay in two years in calella de palafrugell but tour first stay in hotel port bo .we stayed for 3 nights in september .the hotel is in a good location - within easy distance to the centre and beach and check in went smoothly, our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and airy with good quality air conditioning . the beds were comfortable and there was a small fridge in our room which was a bonus .breakfast was served between 8am to 11am with a great selection of good quality food . we thought the breakfasts were continental buffet style but they even cooked a full english each morning for my husband - nothing was too much trouble . the hotel was very clean and the outside areas well cared for . the hotel is not perfect but the price we paid was very reasonable for a hotel with a pool in this resort .

Review 40：In an ideal location, easy walking distance to the beach, the original part of Hotel Port-Bo has a charming 60's feel to it, with a new block of apartments to the other side of the pool. We stayed in the original part. Our room was spacious clean with a view over the pool. The breakfast was first rate, everything you could think of was available, and the service was very friendly. We would go again, but would like to try the apartments.

Review 51：Great breakfasts, very friendly and helpful personnel, “personal” attitude for breakfasts, it was really nice to meet the man in a suit in the morning who smiles so sincerely and behave so courteous that you are about to make a curtsy! And then he asks if you’d like eggs and bacon and if your coffee strong enough. 5 minutes to the pebbly beach. The city itself is very beautiful (the seashore).

Review 116：I liked everything about Hotel Port Bo. The real outstanding thing was the quality of the included Breakfasts. I came to Hotel Port Bo directly from a 5* Hotel in Rome, and the Port Bo breakfasts were better than the 5* Hotel. The rooms were pretty OK - neither great nor poor, but the staff were really friendly and helpful - but the breakfasts were stunning. So stunning in fact that we are already planning to return to Hotel Port Bo. Location was not that great, because it was a 3-4 minute walk from the sea front, however parking was secure and "ding-free", and access was really easy. I unreservedly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to this area. First rate !!! If that was not enough, the price was also reasonable - in fact you would probably pay that price just for the quality, diversity, and loveliness of the breakfasts !!!!

Review 118：Very friendly and helpful staff. We went to the hotel in May so it was very quiet and parking was no problem. The hotel is 5mn walk from several little beaches. The breakfast is excellent. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return.

Review 119：We had a wide two room appartment, with a big refrigerator, but no place for any cooking, nor even to make coffee. In the bathroom there were no soap and shampoo. The restaurants are somewhat expensive and the variety is poor (no food for vegeterians for example)
