Reviews for Pension Lefebvre

Review 1:The music in the next door restaurant was too loud in the middle of the night. The quilt too short and the bed too soft.

Review 2:The German location on the border of Switzerland and value for money

Review 3:A bar is both a good and bad thing. While this pension is in a quiet district, the bar plays loud music, so if one wants just to sleep, this will a bit bother.

Review 4:A fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a bar located in the same building (which is the only place to spend your time in this district)

Review 5:Just ONE bathroom (incl. toilet/shower) for all rooms which left us waiting our turn a few times, not pleasant. Smoking allowed in the kitchen which is already quite small - yuk.

Review 6:The room was surprisingly nice when compared to the rest of the Pension. Staff was pleasant.

Review 7:Small kitchen and single toilet/shower for many rooms.

Review 8:Lovely spacious room. Very nice town. Staff very helpful. Good value and self catering is a plus.

Review 9:The music of bars was too laud so we could´t sleep to 3am. The room smelled cigarette. One of shared toilet was out of order so the whole guests had to use only one toilet which has only one shower booth. If someone is in the shower, another has to retain urine almost forever!

Review 10:Wifi was good and staff was friendly.

Review 11:Common toilet & bath, jaded facilities, noisy disco music from bar downstairs till late

Review 12:Comfy bed, (limited) free parking, massive TV in room, right next to train station (if coming by train)

Review 13:People can smoke in the kitchen and for me it was unpleasant and the smoke was going on the hallway ! In the Saturday the bar under put the music very load late! But if you smoke and are with friend for party you will like it !

Review 14:The room was clean, pretty and the furniture was new ! They have one French Chanel TF1

Review 15:The kitchen was smoky and there were disco bands until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Review 16:Good location close to the central part of Weil and close walking distance to the Basel tram system.

Review 17:Parking is not plentiful. One night I had to park on the street and I got a ticket for doing so. Friday and Saturday nights the bar below the rooms were noisy until after 5 AM. Don't stay at this property on Friday and Saturday nights if you want to get any sleep. The great price is partly because of the shared bathroom.

Review 18:Great price and the room and bed were surprisingly large for European "single" room. Less than a 10 minute drive to the BaselWorld press parking lot.

Review 19:There is a Disco nearby, a bar downstairs, a trainstation next door, a taxi/cap stop right infront of your window and the woodpannel floors will make sure that you can hear every step taken everywhere in the hallway. Only for heavy sleepers.

Review 20:Clean and helpfull staff.

Review 21:lady could not speak english..have to take tram6 and bus 16..put that on info for guests

Review 22:nice and warm room

Review 23:Insufficient toilet facilities for the number of guests. This is more a workers hostel than a Pension

Review 24:Bed was reasonably comfortable

Review 25:Excellent value.

Review 26:Everywhere smelt of smoke. The floorboards were very noisy. A lot of competition for shared bathroom.

Review 27:absence of emergency exit

Review 28:no breakfast

Review 29:Nice personels

Review 30:Be warned that Pension is on the first floor over a music bar - great if you are young, but I could hear the music in my room (not deafening, but still a presence). Felt more like being in a shared flat as there is a proper kitchen which people seemed to using. Definitely print out a detailed Google map (or use SatNav) to find the street because it's in a residential area.

Review 31:Very clean and comfortable. Brand new spacious bathroom opposite my room and a second one along hall. Right next to local train station to Weil am Rhein (trains are very quiet). Staff really friendly. Fantastic for visiting the Fondation Beyeler art gallery in Riehen, which you can walk to (20 mins max.).

Review 32:The only down side was the shared bathroom, but this was OK as I new beforehand.

Review 33:Nice friendly staff. Quiet location, even though next to the railway line. Close to the station.

Review 34:Loud music below, since it was attached to a pub. Light right outside the window and no good curtains to keep it out. Room smelled like smoke.

Review 35:Comfortable bed and spacious room.

Review 36:everything is great people are very nice very clean!!!!!

Review 37:Nice kind staff, nice place

Review 38:Go for Keys from room in bar.

Review 39:Nice room and shower.

Review 40:Up two flights of stairs, had to go into bar to conduct transactions, very smoky.

Review 41:Right next to transit
