The feeling of well-being is enhanced by the swimming pool and gardens that surround the Parador Cordoba. You can visit the garden named Los Naranjos where the first palms that were brought to Europe were planted.

Reviews for Parador de Cordoba
Review 1:It was a bit mire expensive but still a great opportunity to experience a Parador hotel.
Review 2:We had a beautiful view of the city and the grounds were lovely.
Review 3:Our stay was a great disappointment. The two nights were the worst stay of our whole journey. The hotel caused a depressing feeling to us. (E.g. rundown carpets with stains). Staff was neither helpful nor friendly to us. The so called superior room was noisy. Our sleep was disturbed by loud noise from the corridor as well as from the outside.
Review 4:The terrace had a nice view.
Review 5:This hotel is in need of a real update. I thought we were in a Soviet era style facility. Everything is dated and poor. We are surprised since the attraction was that it is a parador. Now we know we have to be more careful
Review 6:The staff is gracious and helpful. The location is fine if you don't mind being outside of Cordoba. The grounds are very nice and well maintained
Review 7:Only drawback is the distance from the central area but this is not a problem if you are happy to use public transport as a bus runs to the city every 30 mins from outside the hotel. Takes around 20 mins.
Review 8:Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Lovely room with good sized balcony. Excellent pool and garden area, perfect for relaxing in the sun. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel.
Review 9:The pool was closed. Also, the food in the restaurant was a basic selection with the quality quite poor for what I would expect for that type of hotel.
Review 10:Beautiful location, although a little out, it had great views. The staff we very helpful and accommodating.
Review 11:The gardens and pool area need modernising Too many steps to the pool for one member of party
Review 12:The excellent welcome by all the staff, reception, bar and dining room Rooms were spacious Food in restaurant evening meals and breakfast good Drinks expensive in bar but service was outstanding For us location was perfect
Review 13:The food (evening meal) was awful! Breakfast was not bad. f we ever stayed there again we would definitely drive down to town to eat.
Review 14:We loved the views from our room and the pool. Staff were great, really helpful.
Review 15:We wanted more smiles from the staff. They were very businesslike.
Review 16:We liked the view from our patio and the dinner on the terrace was great with the night view of the city of Cordoba.
Review 17:Everything was fine.
Review 18:The possibility of ordering a snack on the terrace (Spain's dinner times are too late for our digestive system) and the view over the town from our spacious balcony. A taxi to/from the city costs only around 10 euros (with tip), so you can forget about the car for a day.
Review 19:Taxi ride from town. Wifi not strong in the room but fine in public spaces
Review 20:Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Nice gardens. Great breakfast. Clean room
Review 21:food not very good in the evening and service so fast we had barely put our knives and forks down when the next course appeared. not the best way to enjoy a leisurely meal on the terrace.
Review 22:lovely garden and first class pool
Review 23:Leaving
Review 24:Superior room: with every facility and comfort: large balcony with great view: easy parking: large pool and extensive gardens: very good buffet breakfast; easy 10 min drive to free parking opposite the old city.
Review 25:Hotel feels slightly tired, could do with refurbish. Staff not particularly welcoming, slightly complacent attitude.
Review 26:Pool and garden very nice relax in
Review 27:Breakfast was too expensive to indulge.
Review 28:Beautiful view. Immaculate, spacious room. Luxurious accommodations. Walk-in closet. Attentive, professional staff. Balcony with seats and table. Amazing pool. Easy bus transportation to the city. Taxis on speed dial. Bar open late. Supermarket on the same street. Pizza Aiolo 5 minute walk to the cross street - the best food!!
Review 29:Very expensive restaurant and cafe. We left our keys at a store and couldn't pick them up until the next day, so we asked the staff to let us in the room. They locked us in!! Pool was crowded and grounds were not too lush. Room felt old and not luxe.
Review 30:A bit far away from the town centre needing a Taxi most of the time - 7-8 Euros one way.
Review 31:Typical holiday hotel with lots of Spanish locals. Expansive grounds with a good swimming pool. Excellent views of Cordoba as it is on a hillside. Breakfast was good with choice of in door on on the terrace.
Review 32:There was a smell from the drain in one room, but staff sorted the issue immediately.
Review 33:The ground and location, especially the pool side eatery where the staff excelled in being both efficient and friendly.
Review 34:Single beds dressed as singles rather than a double bed or singles dressed as a double
Review 35:Great assistance from reception staff with all our excursions, taxis etc. Lovely grounds and pool area to cool off in after our day of sightseeing
Review 36:Due to the Fiesta the Mosque and Cathedral were closed. Could not be helped, will have to have a return trip sometime.
Review 37:We had our own car with us and the hotel had a good car park. We took the local bus into the centre. We were there for a day of the Fiesta, so joined in the celebrations.
Review 38:The pool is gorgeous, and the hotel surroundings are peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for. The center of town is either a taxi ride or bus ride away, but not quite close enough for a walk in the heat.
Review 39:Limited snack menu and distance from the town centre which necessitated frequent use of taxis or buses.
Review 40:View from the terrace and the helpful staff. Beautiful grounds and pool.
Review 41:Compared to Seville where we were previously the hop on/hop off tourist bus is not worth the money - the sights worth seeing are right in the centre and you can easily walk around that. Despite the scorching hot weather (in the mid 30s) the Parador swimming pool was not open - the hotel staff said that they were waiting for the mayor to open it!
Review 42:Very nice hotel, excellent position and no problem getting taxis to and from the town. The Mezquite and the Alcazar are fabulous!
Review 43:Everything. It was quite warm while we were there and it was wonderful swimming in the pool. The pool is in a garden with lots of room and very few guests - not your typical crowded vacation pool.
Review 44:At the end of April most of the grounds and sports facilities were closed - they open only in June. Quiet location, but some way from city so a taxi is needed to get to the centre. Breakfast was quite good but there were queues to get a table one of the mornings we were there, and the staff were quite harassed.
Review 45:Spacious hotel but seems to have been last decorated in the 1970s. Free parking.
Review 46:We would have liked a hospitality tray in the room. This is simply a suggestion.
Review 47:Quiet, relaxing, good size room and terrace. Nice breakfast with lovely outside terrace overlooking gardens, swimming pool and the city.
Review 48:Everything was great - the location overlooking the city and the free parking. Also the size and furnishing of the bedroom. The bathroom was also very spacious with a full-size bath. There was nothing to disappoint.
Review 49:Unacceptable wi - fi. Outdated decor in lobby.
Review 50:Loved the balcony, the sitting area in the room. Generous amenities, beautiful bathroom. Gorgeous garden. Very comfortable room.
Review 51:Good size swimming pool set amongst lovely park/garden. Bus stop just outside of hotel takes you into historic quarter. Would not recommend using car as parking can be a nightmare.
Review 52:Not up to our standards, OLD, DATED AND DIRTY, unhelpful staff in every part of hotel. Breakfast poor, If this had been our first visit to a Parador, it would be the last! This hotel should 2 star rated!!
Review 53:The view
Review 54:It was really a challenge to find it without a gps system (car rental company did not have this), it was difficult to locate where the hotel was if you did not exactly come from the direction we had prepared the route description for. At arrival staff did not show much interest in us 'we cannot do anything about this, we are not allowed...' It was a pity we could not sit outside for dinner (while the large restaurant was almost empty).
Review 55:the location - once you have found it - and the swimming pool area/garden; Lady guard at the swimming pool was very friendly and helpful. Large room with good facilties. Breakfast was delicious, fresh juices etc etc.
Review 56:On our first night we decided to have tapas rather than dinner. The food was very mediocre to say the least and service came to a halt once dinners were being served.
Review 57:Excellent facilities including parking and friendly staff. Spacious and very comfortable room. Dinner on our second night was good and good value with excellent and unobtrusive service. Good views across Cordoba.
Review 58:Very sterile international style hotel…noticeably short on staff as season was changing. Food was truly awful..overpriced and though the portions were very large(too large) the cooking was terrible!
Review 59:Big room, great views, enormous swimming pool and grass area around.
Review 60:The safe was very difficult to use.
Review 61:big room with settee, a nice bathroom. A big walk in wardrobe so that everything can be neatly packed away and room kept clear and tidy. A door between the bed room and doors to corridor, bathroom and wardrobe, nice and quiet at night no external noise. Lovely swimming pool and it was open. Did not have breakfast as they are too expansive and expensive for tea and toast types like us. lovely gardens, terraces and balconies. Will be visiting again soon.
Review 62:The reception staff were not very welcoming, and you can only order Spanish newspapers no English. Would not class this hotel a four star rating
Review 63:Pleasant large room with balcony overlooking the city as requested. Pool area very good and the pool bar very good as were the staff in it they should have been running the reception. Overall a pleasant stay
Review 64:1) the chef needs to find out how to make and several Sorbet it is not icecream nor is it a slush puppy 2) To use the pool one had to descend 70+ steps then 70+ steps back not good for someone with heart condition
Review 65:Wi Fi reception was not strong enough in our room (406) We stayed Friday and Saturday night - the first night was fine, the second night we had someone very noisy directly above us who seemed to walk around on the marble floor from 2am to 7am - not great
Review 66:Hotel Staff - from chambermaids, to bar hostess, to breakfast waiters and front desk staff - all very attentive and helpful Bedroom was spacious even with extra bed and had a great balcony with views across the city and the pool Food was excellent, from buffet breakfast to lunch at the pool bar to tapas dinner in the restaurant Cleanliness - room was very clean, plenty of towels, nice mini bar, nice bedsheets
Review 67:Again, very disappointed that there were no tea/coffee facilities in room.
Review 68:We enjoyed our stay very much - we used the pool (excellent) and pool bar (excellent food) the room was just perfect, unfortunately we did not have a balcony room :( have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Would recommend.
Review 69:The historic center is not close, so you either depend on a taxi or a GPS to find a parking for your car
Review 70:Excellent place if you travel by car and enjoy a beautiful view over the city.
Review 71:Hotel need some renovation and refurbishment; very old furniture, decor etc. poor wifi potential is there to become 5 star but needs to sort these problems out first
Review 72:very good breakfast spacious free parking nice location if you drive, with huge space. big garden and very big pool!
Review 73:it was implied that we could not eat dinner till10:30 when we went down to eat we were the only ones in the dinning room we had seen people outside eating earlier. Also our meals included deal allowed us only the cheaper side of the menu
Review 74:very peaceful nice place great pool
Review 75:Did not get a big bed although we requested it in advance. Poor room service, until 23h even if it was written to be until 00h...
Review 76:Quiet location with excellent view. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food.
Review 77:The location was long way from the main centre. Too far to walk & had to catch a taxi which was added expense.
Review 78:The hotel was adequate .
Review 79:The Parador of Cordoba is a wonderful place to relax. This is a place we really want to stay again!
Review 80:The out of town location was fine for us and the nearby bus stop was an easy nice ride into the city centre.
Review 81:Nothing
Review 82:Big room very clean Eazy to get to cordoba
Review 83:Staff went the extra mile to help. Great food, location overlooking the city was brilliant.

Review 106:Overall very good hotel
Review 107:Steps on balcony need hand rail.
Review 108:Lovely terrace.
Review 109:They have destroyed the ancient gardens. Somebody should be held accountable for that.
Review 110:Just for lodging is fine. Big rooms and nice staff.
Review 111:Restaurant quality and service. Very poor bar food, poor breakfast quality and service.
