Reviews for Hotel Juma
Review 1:Poor breakfast, and restaurant and bar closed during our stay. No staff to greet us on arrival, had to wait outside with our bags and only gained entry as a cleaner arrived for work.
Review 2:Location Excellent view from rooftop solarium.
Review 3:The owner was not particularly friendly. We had a broken door handle which we asked to be repaired at the beginning of our stay but nothing was done about it.
Review 4:The location and the atmosphere on the square.
Review 5:If could be a little noisy at night being right in the center, but that didn't put me off rating this Hotel so highly as that's what I expected
Review 6:Firstly the staff were just amazing, the location of this Hotel has to be one of the best in Pollenca too. It was great to walk down the stairs and grab a table in the square and watch the evening unfold.
Review 7:Only negatives were slightly lumpy mattresses and only able to make black tea (no coffee or whitener).
Review 8:Spotlessly clean. Great location. Lovely spacious room. Nice staff.
Review 9:If there was anything to criticise, the breakfast was a bit unimaginative, but that's being picky
Review 10:Friendliness and unstinting aim to please of staff, room and facilities excellent as was location.
Review 11:Niente
Review 12:The owner was so kind to wait for us, we arrived very late. Very friendly and helpful. Beautiful property outstanding location. We will come back :)
Review 13:The breakfast was excellent but because I had to catch the early bus on my day of departure I was given the little breakfast which was frankly pathetic and for which I had paid the full amount..
Review 14:Some early morning noise of empty bottle collections but not anything too disturbing as we were conscious of our contribution.
Review 15:As expected, a traditional and friendly hotel in the centre of Pollenca providing a real taste of of the culture, traditions and atmosphere of this beautiful old town. Emersed in history, art, culture and easy access to restaurants and bars...including the Juma! We've visited Pollenca many times over the years but never stayed in the old town choosing in the past to stay in Peutro Pollenca. Watching the hustle and busltle of early morning market day set up on Sundays whilst relaxing over breakfast was better than people watching and added to the experience of staying at the Juma.
Review 16:It is located directly in the square, so if your looking for a lie in on a Sunday morning your ok until the band starts. It was worth waking up for though they are fantastic.
Review 17:The room was lovely, the staff were amazing, the location is great and the not "too hot" hot tub on the roof just added to the whole experience. We can't wait to stay again.
Review 18:A bit noisy on street below - dustbin collecting very early but we soon went back to sleep!
Review 19:We really liked the atmosphere in this little hotel. Very friendly helpful staff Great location on the square in old traditional building with modern facilities. Room well appointed with modern en suite. Very clean and excellent breakfast included. Jacuzzi on roof could be fun but did not have the occasion to use. We would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Pollenca - a nice old town full of atmosphere and a great market on sundays. Loved it
Review 20:Bit noisy but comes with the territory. Double glazed and huge shutters though which help.
Review 21:Location on the Placa Major - ideal for bars and restaurants in the evening and you feel at the centre of the world on Sunday morning with the market outside. Old town loving and living. Great staff and quirky design touches.
Review 22:Hotel Juma is small-only 7-8 rooms, cozy and intimate. Located in the heart of Pollensa, it makes for easy walking around town. The outdoor seating in front connects it with the town square with many other restaurants' open seating where both locals and tourists gather until late hours in the evening. Really felt in the heart of the community. Personalized greeting, warm hospitality and not the anonymity of a big hotel. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and included the Pollensa visit, where my husband's family spent a summer in a villa 49 years ago. Joan, Hotel Juma's owner tracked down the owners of the villa and arranged for us to visit. This type of personalized interaction typifies our stay at the hotel, and just made us feel so welcome.
Review 23:Breakfast is basic, but this is a minor consideration.
Review 24:In the heart of Pollensa, which still has most of the character of a traditional Mallorcan town. We spoke to a couple who were staying in a more expensive hotel, with a beautiful room, -- but poor air con so they had poor sleep! Juma 1, ?better hotel 0.
Review 25:Small bedroom, but we were only there for 3 days. My husband likes a pot of coffee at breakfast rather than a cup. Small point, I know
Review 26:Very pleasant and helpful staff Calm and relaxing Excellent staff Nice breakfast Lovely outlook
Review 27:Lovely small hotel in a great location with very friendly staff. The roof top jacuzzi was an added bonus, cooling off in the afternoon sun looking over wonderful Pollensa rooftops towards the mountains. We were there at festival time which was very lively and very loud - but also great fun, but not much sleep!

Review 46:Our room was rather small but clean and well appointed.
Review 47:Very helpful staff ...very approachable and willing to arrange, for example, car hire and taxi service to and from Palma airport. An attractive and unpretentious hotel.
Review 48:None of the above words properly describe the Hotel which is in the middle of a small town surrounded by wonderful countryside and about 6kms from the sea. There is a great range of shops and lovely restaurants. good art galleries to visit and a large market on Sunday.
Review 49:- Thin walls - Unstable and slow wifi - Old mattresses, could feel the springs inside - Breakfast was not expensive, but rather pay more for higher quality products
Review 50:- Very friendly staff - Location on the main square of Pollensa - Clean and well maintained
Review 51:The bed was a bit hard, but otherwise the room was small but comfortable. The bath was also spotless. Parking is difficult in high season as the hotel is in a pedestrian zone and on-street parking is not easy to find and a few blocks away.
Review 52:Sandra is delightful, efficient and very helpful. The Hotel Juma has been in her family for five generations. Perfect location on the main square, spotlessly clean.
Review 53:There was nothing I didn't like.
Review 54:The friendly attentive helpful and kind staff. The view from my room overlooking the square and mountains. The great air conditioning.
Review 55:Breakfast as above and bar
Review 56:Location 100% - breakfast buffet very poor worst I've seen in years.Poor choice . On positive freshly made oj and coffee. Bar very poor ,nothing would tempt one to drink here and as result empty at night whenadjacent bars very busy. Staff nice enough.
Review 57:No swimming pool
Review 58:Location in the central square of old Pollensa quiet yet bustling by lunch and night convenient to many resturants and shops easy to get to the coast. Staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful.
Review 59:Could be quite noisy with bedroom windows open as children and people out till quite late at night.
Review 60:Situated in the main square of a very pretty town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent market held in the square on Sundays.
Review 61:A very charming and welcoming small hotel. The mix of old furniture and up-to-date standard was well sought out. We would certainly like ti come back and spend more time at Hotel Juma.
Review 62:A wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, right on the main square handy for all local bars and restaurants. Great market on a Sunday morning right outside
Review 63:Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Hotel was spotless and decor was lovely. Location was perfect.
Review 64:Jacuzzi
Review 65:Nothing comes to mind.
Review 66:Friendly welcome - my fourth visit. Nice family run feel about the hotel, and extremely central.
Review 67:Town centre location in old town square, busy but not a noisy centre location. Lots of choice in eating and easy access to great walking countryside.
Review 68:N/A
Review 69:Small friendly hotel
Review 70:No relaxation areas such as patio with loungers etc Room was small
Review 71:location and staff
Review 72:I have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all.
Review 73:Beautiful Mallorcan hotel. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast.
Review 74:Parking not easy in Pollenca and Hotel Juma is very central. Streets are incredibly narrow and not condusive to cars.
Review 75:Beautiful relaxing place
The Fine Print
Please note that the town’s annual festival is between July 26th and August 2nd. This takes place in the square outside the hotel and may cause some noise disturbance.
