Review 1：Rooms were too hot and had no control of the temperature. Did not have a good night sleep at all and neither did our friends next door. For this reason, will not consider going back.

Review 29：I stayed at the Poseidon last year, and enjoyed it. I subsequently recommended it to friends. My experience this year was quite different. The staff, who had struck me as very helpful last year, were not so this year. The room we were put in was just a box. We were paying quite a hefty rate--100 euros per nite. The hotel didn't strike me as clean. I looked under the bed--maybe better not to do this in hotels!--and I saw accumulated dust and dirt. Very few toiletry items were left. Enough--barely--for one, but there were two of us. But what infuriated me above all was the hotel policy of not having a small refrigerator in the room. Instead there was a notice saying that 'neveras' could be rented by the day. That is disgusting. What a rip-off; you pay a hundred euros a nite and you don't even get a place to leave your cold drinks. There's a lot of hotel choice in Benidorm, and I won't be choosing the Poseidon Playa again.

Review 35：There are far too many bar stools in front of the bar. When they are occupied it means that no-one else can get to the bar to get drinks. On one night I took the liberty of moving stools away from the bar and it worked a treat, I could actually get served

Review 37：Only wifi in reception nowhere else. The staff ignored me at the bar three times in favour of serving people who had come after me possibly because I'm small and a woman! At breakfast the milk container was empty and they had removed the other one and it was not quite the end of breakfast time. Also the walk to the old town is quite long and not much in between apart from a couple of bars and one hotel, the area towards the old town was a bit scruffy. Would stay at the levante beach side next time.

Review 39：The hotel served up a brandy which was undrinkable. I asked for Soberano (which is a relatively cheap Spanish brandy) - the barman, I have to say, was quite aggressive saying that all inclusive meant we had to drink their brandy. I said no I want Soberano and it became a big issue. I did eventually get it but when we left there was no extra on the bill!

Review 41：Christmas break but very little atmosphere and few decorations. Had to pay for WiFi and safe in room whereas most hotels now include these. WiFi reception was very poor, not worth the money. Parking was adequate but had to pay extra for it. Towels were thin, hard and non-absorbent. Entertainment was basic, not Christmassy at all.

Review 42：Excellent food, waiters also excellent, they worked so hard. Location was good with view onto beach. Although on twelfth floor the lifts accommodated us with very little delay all the time. Communal areas kept lovely and clean.

Review 51：The buffet style restaurant can get very busy at popular times. Expect to queue during peak times. Poor wi-fi connection. Had to get a new password every day. Connection lasted 6 hours. Was so slow we gave up in the end. Although room was very clean it was a bit on the small side.

Review 53：Just got back from a 6 day break with my partner - lovely hotel in agreat location - directly opposite the beach in a quiet lication - wemet up with friends in the lively part of town so we got a taxi whichwas about 8 euros - we had a room on the top floor with great views -rooms cleaned every day and spotless !! Staff very helpful - we didnteat in the hotel so cant vouch for the food but overall very good and wewould defo stay again.

Rooms minimalistic (basic) but okay for a short stay. Great view of the sea/beach from balcony bedroom, paid extra though.

Review 117：Paid €7 for parking but should have just parked in the street as paid for parking was not secure or undercover. Wifi was advertised as free in all rooms but was told that was wrong. They wanted €3.75 to have it in the room. I showed them the booking confirmation where it was mentioned as free. They then gave it to me for free. Air con was not working in the room which was hot.

Review 118：Great view, great breakfast, biggish room, good bath. Nice walk to shopping street. Antonio on reception was good at his job providing the free Wifi after realising it was the difference between a good or bad experience for us. I would stay here again as long as they fixed the air con.

Review 122：Hotel Bar staff very rude left tables dirty took drinks away before we had finished them never spoke unless you was a young female then there was 2/3 staff serving one. Wine glass very very large yet the smallest amount was put in the bottom l understand them not filling it but the silly little bit that was in the bottom come on. Entertainment one night was very bad people was walking out but the rest of the night they worked hard

Review 124：Was unable to upgrade to all inclusive as we were only staying for 2 nights, need to stay for a minimum of 4 nights!!! Felt let down & would put me off staying again as we stay in Spain & can usually only get away for a day or two, which is a pity. Drinks were very expensive in the bar & wine measures were a joke, we do own our own bar in Spain so we do know what we are talking about.
