Review 1：The massage therapist could not speak much English or German. Hard to communicate a request to her that way. Though I am sure she was a lovely person, it would be better to have someone who can communicate with guests. Also, I wanted to book a series of spa appointments, but found that was not possible as there were only two staff and not many opening times. I am a vegetarian, and even though I stated this on the dinner request form, I still got served a meat tartar in my soup.

Review 2：The food was stunning: interesting, varied and beautifully presented. I liked the balconies on the rooms. The staff were very gracious. We used the free shuttle to and from the Bad Gastein station. Very helpful! We enjoyed the horse cart trip up the valley. The pool was very enjoyable, though very crowded at times. The plumbing in my room was making weird noises all night and was disruptive. However, when I asked reception to come fix it, they sent someone straight away.

Review 3：My room smelled like smoke, though I was told there is no smoking in any rooms. There was no soundproofing in my room, though my parents said theirs was quiet.

Review 4：Sadly, my step dad was acting like a total ugly American tourist, but the staff treated even his demanding, loud ways with grace. Kudos for that. The thermal spa was very nice. The water was fabulous. The food was beautiful and delicious. The best I have had in Austria.

Review 23：I have to thank EVERYONE working for this hotel. They went above and beyond when I fractured my leg skiing. They changed my room so it was easier to get in my room. They packed my bags, arranged my cabs to the doctors and all around helped me with everything since I was alone. I couldn't be more thankful. Even before I hurt myself the hotel staff was incredible and I loved every part of it. I will visit again just won't ski ;)

Review 57：Hotel is not walking distance from the town and you cannot buy any food in the village, the restaraunt is the only option, though a nice one. They do provide transfer to Bad Gastein, but having kind of grocery nearby would be nice.

WONDERFUL food- one night I had the Cordon Bleu, better than anywhere else in Austria..waiter who looked after me that night was so charming and wonderful, the spa is beautiful, great spa treatments, this is the place to go to if you want a romantic trip combined with the best of the Gastein Cure, the grounds gorgeous, the entire place is set away from Gastein in what is seriously one of the most lovely valleys/places I have ever seen in my life.
