Review 1：A disco played loud music till 5am which kept us awake even with earplugs in We have stayed at Perla lots of times but will not return Also there was a lot of noisy guests staying

Review 5：The food was dreadful! We have never seen such a poor choice, it was greasy, the bread rolls were stale, it was just disgusting. Our friends told us how bad the breakfast was too, so we didn't even try that. So although we had no choice, but to have half board, we only had the evening meal once. I love my food and I hate wasting money, but I could not eat in there again. The towels had seen better days. Nice pool area, but in the shade whenever we saw it, so you could not stay there for a sunbathing holiday.

Review 7：The hotel was full of drunks who shouted and kicked doors throughout the night. Hotel staff did nothing to remedy this situation. The hotel is in an extremely noisy location and even though we paid an extra five euros a night we could still hear noise from the street which went on all night. The advertised air conditioning had been turned off for the winter even though the temperature was still in the mid twenties, the phone in the room didn't work and wasn't replaced even when I requested it, the advertised evening entertainment didn't exist, and reception staff shrugged dismissively when problems were brought to their notice.

Review 41：Probably I am just looking for something to complain about, but unfortunately, I surmise this was due to the time of the year we visited the Hotel Perla, the sun only shone on the pool from around 2pm, but it actually made us go for a walk along the lovely Benidorm promenade each morning, so probably not something to dislike. There was however a couple of afternoons when a small group of about 5 noisy lads took over the pool who seem to not think that maybe other holiday makers wanted to use it and the pool area seem to empty a lot earlier than normal due to this. Most of the other young people there were no bother at all.

Review 49：Warning: if you like to get out of the midday heat and like to rest inyour room this hotel turns off the air conditioning between 12pm &3pm. If travelling to Benidorm on the steaming hot months of July &August my advise to you is don't book at this hotel unless you likethe feeling of being trapped in a sauna!!! Even when the Air con isswitched on - the system Does not cool your room sufficiently well toKeep you comfortable during the hot periods. For the hotel to switch offthe air con during the hottest part of the day is cruel & inhumane.It also shows contempt for their customers .Beds in the rooms are very uncomfortable! Thin walls so you can hear everything that goes on in the rooms next door! Don't book a room overlooking the street if you want a good nights sleep. The noise from people shouting, singing & fighting all night can keep you awake. If you stay at this hotel you need to upgrade to pool side room. The air con in my room on the top floor didn't work properly and it was as hot as hell the first night I was there. And the noise from parties on the street also kept me awake all Night. Despite having the most uncomfortable & slerpless night ever i still had to pay to upgrade to a quieter room with a pool view on the floor below. The room still Noisy because you can hear drunk people shouting and laughing by the hotel swimming pool, during the day and in the evening.

Review 50：The breakfast ok.... Good choice of hot & cold. But don't eventhink about taking even one croissant to your room To eat later becauseyou will be told off! Pool ok but too Noisy & Packed.

Review 72：Wi-Fi was sometimes poor, but was enough for a vacation. Walls are pretty thin, so drunken British guys on your level can be disturbing if you are not a good sleeper. For us, it was not a problem at all.

We have arrived on our first day after 11PM, so I thought we lost the first dinner we paid for, but we had a chance to eat 1 additional meal (lunch) because of this on next day. So unexpected and unbelievable experience that there are places like this. The place was better than expected from other comments here :) We just loved it!

Review 74：Stayed here last year had a great time with pool view room, that's why we returned this year. Didn't get a pool view as requested so ended up road side with two noisy night clubs blasting music untill 06.30 shouting and screaming. Pool area not kept clean in the day, bottles and plastic glasses all over the place.

Review 79：My honest opinion I give you can be from the room I stayed in 116, thisroom faced a lively bar which closed around 07:30,this room was 20 yardsto the left and directly above another even louder nightclub which hadan open rooftop this closed around 03:00. there was aircon in the roombut it did not come on untill 15:00, when it did come on it wasabsolutely rubbish, so much so the 2nd day I bought a desk top fan for20 euros, if you want a little tv time itv-itv2-itv4 were the onlyBritish channels.

Review 123：Unthinking customers should be discouraged from leaving towels on pool-side recliners. If not used within 30 minutes towels should be removed by staff. Notices to be posted to this effect.

We were visiting Benidorm for a couple of nights and the location is ideal for all the pubs, clubs and entertainment Benidorm has to offer! We also "managed" breakfast this year and the choice on offer was excellent - something for everyone! if you want a short break in the midst of everything, the Perla is for you.
