Review 1：Basic breakfast of tea/coffee and a tostada or biscuits. Hotel needs updating as even though it has character it is showing signs of age.
Review 2：Location and staff were good though check in took quite some time as everything was handwritten.

Review 4：This is a very pleasant, peaceful and friendly place. I’m not used to staying in one star hotels but I would return here happily. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The lobby sitting area is the nicest I’ve seen. The room was plain but spotless with good unobtrusive air conditioning and TV (all Spanish). It was an old bathroom but spotless and towels were changed every day. The pool area is a true oasis and worth spending time in. The hotel is on Lanjaron’s single-lane shady main street – hardly any traffic, no noise from restaurants etc. The town is full of old people and has a quaint air to it. It’s quite addictive. If your room is on the street you will hear people strolling and talking till midnight, but that would be the only negative.

Review 9：The hotel receptionist was a mine of information on the mountains around Lanjaron and on the town itself, and she shared that information with great enthusiasm. The hotel's location, next to the main bus stop in the town, is excellent. The cool water pool out back is a great antidote to a long day's hiking

Review 12：Beautiful old Andalucian hotel, spotlessly clean and perfectly located with amazing views over the Alpujarras. Our room was fantastic with a corner position and windows that opened out to views over the mountains. Air-conditioning in the room and a seating area for relaxing and looking over the mountains. Breakfast was brilliant and served in a lovely terraced room. Pool area was lovely and pool and surrounding area kept very clean. Staff were very helpful and room was cleaned every day. Bathroom was excellent.
Review 13：We stayed for two nights at the tail end of the season so unfortunately the pool was closed. Also the hotel dining room was not open for dinner.
