Reviews for Hotel Rompeolas
Review 1:It's worth staying in this hotel especially because of the wonderful view of the ocean and sunsets from the room and the sound of the waves breaking on the shore that is audible from the room :)
Review 2:Great location overlooking the bay, Ilas Cies and the old fortifications at the entrance to Rio Di Vigo. Slept to the sound of the surf crashing on the rocks.
Review 3:Magnífica localización al pie del acantilado, casi tocando el mar dese la habitacion y a cinco minutos del centro. The staff was grateful. Very good value for price.
Review 4:Even though it was the end of the season and the crowds were gone, the staff upheld their high standards of personable service. They were even there for us with Duct tape when the side mirror on our car was dislodged. Our room was facing the ocean and had a wonderful balcony where we could sit and wind down after a long day of exploring. At night, we left the door to our balcony open to take advantage of the sound of the surf (the hotel is perfectly named). Even if your room is not facing the ocean, the public areas are spacious and inviting with fantastic views of the ocean. Highly recommend.
Review 5:Rooms are a little basic comfort wise, but being able to see out to sea from your bed more than makes up for it.
